Congregation Ahavath Chesed is a Reform Jewish synagogue in Jacksonville, Florida. It is the oldest Jewish congregation in Florida and one of the first formally incorporated.

Logos University, formerly Logos Christian College and Graduate School, is an unaccredited interdenominational private university in Jacksonville, Florida. The university offers academic degree programs designed for professional service in Christian ministry using distance learning. Although it is accredited by the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities, that organization's accreditation is not recognized by the US or UK government.

The Art Institute of Jacksonville was a for-profit institution of higher education in Jacksonville, Florida, and one of The Art Institutes, a corporate system of over 40 educational institutions throughout North America, providing education in design, media arts, fashion and culinary arts. The school opened in 2007 as a branch of the Miami International University of Art & Design.The Art Institute of Jacksonville is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school started offering culinary programs in July 2007.The Art Institutes system is a subsidiary of Education Management Corporation a for-profit college organization. Beginning in August 2011, Education Management Corporation was one of several for-profit college companies to be investigated and sued by federal and state agencies for illegal recruitment practices and fraudulent receipt of federal financial aid money.In 2015, the Art Institute of Jacksonville announced it would close along with 14 other Art Institutes branches in the aftermath of the federal investigations. The school ceased admitting new students and closed when its enrolled students had graduated.

Florida Coastal School of Law was a private for-profit law school in Jacksonville, Florida. It was established in 1996 and was the last operating of three for-profit law schools of the InfiLaw System owned by Sterling Partners. Because of funding and accreditation issues, the school closed its doors after summer classes were completed in 2021.

San Jose Episcopal Church is an historic Episcopal church located at 7423 San Jose Boulevard, in the San Jose section of Jacksonville, Florida in the United States. It was built in 1925 as the San Jose Estates Administration Building. On April 10, 1985. it was added to the National Register of Historic Places as the San Jose Administration Building.

The Bolles School is an American private college preparatory day and boarding school in Jacksonville, Florida. It has a lower school (including pre-kindergarten), a middle school, and a high school, spread across four campuses around the Jacksonville area, and enrolls about 1,800 students a year. The school was founded in 1933 as an all-boys military academy. It dropped its military focus in 1962 and became coeducational in 1971. Its athletics programs have been recognized as some of the best in the Florida High School Athletic Association by Sports Illustrated magazine.

Mandarin High School (MHS) is a public high school in Jacksonville, Florida, United States. It was established in 1990 and is part of the Duval County Public Schools district. As of 2010, it is the second-largest high school in Duval County following Sandalwood High School. Atlantic Coast High School opened in 2010 to prevent overcrowding at the school as well as Sandalwood, Englewood and Wolfson.

Samuel W. Wolfson High School (or simply Wolfson) is a magnet high school located in the Duval County Public School district. As an academic magnet and college preparatory school, Wolfson specializes in Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses. In addition to its academic focus, Samuel Wolfson School for Advanced Studies has a athletics program, a program for visual and performing arts, and a JROTC program. Its name is derived from Samuel W. Wolfson, a local businessman whose family was prominent in Jacksonville, Wolfson houses the Finance, Law, and Business magnet program. A VyStar Credit Union branch is located inside the school, and is available for students and faculty to use. Wolfson is a member of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The school's main rival is the Englewood Rams.

The Epping Forest (also known as the Alfred I. duPont Estate) was a historic, 58-acre (230,000 m2) estate in Jacksonville, Florida where a luxurious riverfront mansion was built in the mid-1920s by industrialist Alfred I. du Pont and his third wife, Jessie Ball du Pont. It was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1973 and has been restored to its original grandeur as the home of the Epping Forest Yacht Club. On April 18, 2012, the AIA's Florida Chapter placed the Epping Forest Yacht Club on its list of "Florida Architecture: 100 Years. 100 Places".
