The Berkeley Carroll School is a coed independent college prep school in New York City. Located in Park Slope, Brooklyn, it has a Lower School (preK – grade 4), Middle School (grades 5–8) and Upper School (grades 9–12).

The Park Slope Food Coop (PSFC) is a food cooperative located in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City. It is one of the oldest and largest active food co-ops in the United States. As a food cooperative, one of its goals is to be a "buying agent to its members, not a selling agent to any industry." Non-members are welcome to visit the store, but may not shop.Formed in 1973, PSFC has grown to include over 17,000 members. The PSFC business model requires each of its adult members to contribute 2 hours and 45 minutes of work every four weeks, and that no member share a household with a non-member. In exchange, active members may shop at the store. The store sells a variety of foods and household goods, some environmentally friendly products, at a 21% markup over the wholesale price (compared to 26-100% at a supermarket). An additional temporary 4% markup was implemented in October 2020 to help the co-op offset the financial impacts of COVID-19. Members facing financial hardship may opt-out. The savings are possible because labor is contributed by its members. PSFC operates as a New York state cooperative corporation.

The Old First Reformed Church in Brooklyn, New York– officially known as The Reformed Dutch Church of the Town of Breukelen – is a historic Dutch Reformed church at 126 7th Avenue on the corner of Carroll Street in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, New York. The congregation was founded in 1654 by decree of Governor Pieter Stuyvesant, as one of three "collegiate churches." The current church building was constructed in 1888–1893 and is a Late Gothic Revival style Indiana limestone building on a granite base. It measures 100 feet wide and 162 feet deep. The front facade features a 212-foot-high stone tower and spire.The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

The buildings at 375–379 Flatbush Avenue and 185–187 Sterling Place are a historic group of four commercial and residential buildings located in the Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. They were built in 1885 and are in the Neo-Grec style with Second Empire elements. The 377–379 Flatbush Avenue building is a 3.5-story masonry structure with a commercial ground floor, apartments above, and a distinctive corner tower with pyramidal roof. It features a mansard roof. The 375 Flatbush Avenue building is a commercial/residential structure identical in form to 377–379 Flatbush Avenue, but without a mansard roof. The 185–187 Sterling Place buildings are two single family row houses built as companions to the other buildings.The buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, and are located within the Prospect Heights Historic District created by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 2009.

The Montauk Club is a social club located in a Francis Kimball-designed building in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The Club provides dining and drinking services and offers an extensive schedule of events including a Book Club, a Beer Club, Murder Mystery Dinners, and is a sought-after wedding and event venue. Members also have privileges at 66 reciprocal clubs, located in 33 states and the District of Columbia and six countries, including Canada, England, India, Ireland, Netherlands and Philippines.

St. Augustine's Church is a Roman Catholic church in Park Slope, Brooklyn. In May 2022, the church’s gold tabernacle worth approximately $2 million was stolen.

Community Bookstore is a bookstore in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City open since 1971. Susan Scioli and then-husband John Scioli opened the Community Bookstore in Park Slope in 1971. At the time, Park Slope was becoming a popular place for young people but the area did not yet have a strong commercial center. The Sciolis saw an opportunity, starting with a tiny store and building out. Then, in 1974 they opened a second location on Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights. When the couple separated in 1980, they each took one of the bookstores. Susan had the Park Slope shop and John took the Brooklyn Heights location, which he moved to Cobble Hill in the 1980s. John retired and closed the store in 2016, while the Park Slope location is still open as of 2016. When Scioli learned of a Barnes & Noble store opening in the neighborhood in 1997, she quickly tried to adapt and compete with the giant competitor. According to the New York Times, "for her, staying competitive amounted to nothing short of war". She knocked down walls, expanded her inventory, built a cafe, developed a backyard reading space, and started a loyalty program/club.Scioli ran the shop until 2001, when she sold it to Catherine Bohne, who had been acting as store manager. Bohne in turn sold it to Stephanie Valdez and Ezra Goldstein in 2010.In 2013 the store expanded to a second location, Terrace Books, in Windsor Terrace.The store gives local authors special attention, and holds regular literary events such as readings and panel discussions. For example, in 2016 actor John Turturro joined a panel about Elena Ferrante.Bklyner described the bookstore as having an unusual atmosphere, with a number of animals having lived in the space, including a cat named Tiny the Usurper, an unofficial store mascot, as well as a bearded dragon, turtles, and a rabbit.

The Seventh Avenue station is a station on the BMT Brighton Line of the New York City Subway, located at the intersection of Seventh Avenue, Park Place and Flatbush Avenue in Park Slope and Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The station is served by the Q train at all times and by the B train on weekdays only.

115–119 Eighth Avenue, also known as the Adams House, is a historic house at Eighth Avenue and Carroll Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York City. It was built in 1888 as a double house, and was commissioned by Thomas Adams Jr., who invented the Adams Chiclets automatic vending machine. It was designed by noted architect C. P. H. Gilbert in the Richardsonian Romanesque style, and is considered to be one of the best examples of that style extant in New York City, "worthy of H. H. Richardson." The house is built of sandstone, terra cotta and brick on a brownstone base, and was the first house in the neighborhood with an elevator. It has now been converted into apartments. The building is located within the Park Slope Historic District, which was designated by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1973.

Prospect Heights Historic District is a national historic district in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, New York City. It consists of 305 contributing buildings built between 1865 and about 1900. The district is almost exclusively residential and includes a variety of single family rowhouses and multiple dwellings. They are in a variety of architectural styles popular in the late-19th century.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

47 Plaza Street West is an apartment building designed by the noted architect Rosario Candela and completed in 1928 in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York City. The building, located next to Brooklyn's Grand Army Plaza, possesses a distinctive flatiron shape.

The Grand Army Plaza station is a local station on the IRT Eastern Parkway Line of the New York City Subway. It is located in Park Slope, Brooklyn, underneath Flatbush Avenue at its intersection with Plaza Street West and St. Johns Place, on the northwest side of Grand Army Plaza. It is served by the 2 train at all times, the 3 train at all times except late nights, and the 4 train during late nights.
