Buildings at 375–379 Flatbush Avenue and 185–187 Sterling Place

The Montauk Club is a social club located in a Francis Kimball-designed building in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The Club provides dining and drinking services and offers an extensive schedule of events including a Book Club, a Beer Club, Murder Mystery Dinners, and is a sought-after wedding and event venue. Public School 9 and Public School 9 Annex are two historic school buildings located at 249 and 251 Sterling Place, respectively, at Vanderbilt Avenue in the Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. Public School 9 consists of a central, two-story gabled section flanked by two-story wings. The central section dates to 1867–68 and was designed by Samuel B. Leonard in the Early Romanesque Revival style. The two wings were added in 1887 and were designed by James W. Naughton. The school was originally Public School 9, later becoming Public School 111, and currently P.S. 340.Public School 9 Annex was necessitated by the continued population growth of Prospect Heights, which caused overcrowding in the original school. It was designed by James W. Naughton and built in 1895. It is a three-story, H-shaped, brick building crowned by gable dormer windows. The Romanesque Revival building incorporates Renaissance Revival style details. The building has been converted into condominium apartments under the name "P.S. 9". Both buildings were separately designated New York City Landmarks in 1978, as "Public School 9" and "Public School 9 Annex" and were listed together on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981, as "Public School 111 and Public School 9 Annex"

The Grand Army Plaza station is a local station on the IRT Eastern Parkway Line of the New York City Subway. It is located in Park Slope, Brooklyn, underneath Flatbush Avenue at its intersection with Plaza Street West and St. Johns Place, on the northwest side of Grand Army Plaza. It is served by the 2 train at all times, the 3 train at all times except late nights, and the 4 train during late nights.

Prospect Heights Historic District is a national historic district in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, New York City. It consists of 305 contributing buildings built between 1865 and about 1900. The district is almost exclusively residential and includes a variety of single family rowhouses and multiple dwellings. They are in a variety of architectural styles popular in the late-19th century.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Prospect Heights is a neighborhood in the northwest of the New York City borough of Brooklyn. The traditional boundaries are Flatbush Avenue to the west, Atlantic Avenue to the north, Eastern Parkway – beginning at Grand Army Plaza – to the south, and Washington Avenue to the east. In the northern section of Prospect Heights are the Vanderbilt Rail Yards, built over as part of the Pacific Park (formerly Atlantic Yards) project. The Barclays Center, home to the NBA's Brooklyn Nets basketball team, is located in the northwestern corner of the neighborhood in Pacific Park at Flatbush and Atlantic Avenues. Compared to other Brooklyn neighborhoods, Prospect Heights is relatively small and is notable for its cultural diversity as well as its tree-lined streets. Prospect Heights has seen rapid demographic changes over the 2000s, and its shifts are exemplified by a mixture of older buildings under reconstruction, rows of classic 1890s brownstones, and newly built luxury condominiums. The neighborhood is served by the New York Police Department's 77th Precinct.

Grand Army Plaza, originally known as Prospect Park Plaza, is a public plaza that comprises the northern corner and the main entrance of Prospect Park in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. It consists of concentric oval rings arranged as streets, with the namesake Plaza Street comprising the outer ring. The inner ring is arranged as an ovoid roadway that carries the main street – Flatbush Avenue – with eight radial roads connecting Vanderbilt Avenue; Butler Place; two separate sections of Saint John's Place; Lincoln Place; Eastern Parkway; Prospect Park West; Union Street; and Berkeley Place. The only streets that penetrate to the inner ring are Flatbush Avenue, Vanderbilt Avenue, Prospect Park West, Eastern Parkway, and Union Street. The plaza includes the Soldiers' and Sailors' Arch; the Bailey Fountain; the John F. Kennedy Monument; statues of Civil War generals Gouverneur K. Warren and Henry Warner Slocum; busts of notable Brooklyn citizens Alexander Skene and Henry W. Maxwell; and two 12-sided gazebos with "granite Tuscan columns, Guastavino vaulting, and bronze finials".: 668 

The John F. Kennedy Memorial by Neil Estern is installed in Brooklyn's Grand Army Plaza, in the U.S. state of New York. It features a bronze bust of John F. Kennedy on a Regal Grey granite pedestal. The current monument was dedicated on August 24, 2010, which replaced one previously dedicated on May 31, 1965.

Bailey Fountain is an outdoor sculpture in New York City at the site of three 19th century fountains in Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn, New York, United States. Renovated in 1956 and 2005-06, the 1932 fountain was funded by philanthropist Frank Bailey as a memorial to his wife. After 1974 thefts, some sculpture elements were stored for safekeeping.

The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, known at one time as the Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory of Music, is a music conservatory located in Brooklyn, New York City. It offers a broad range of instruction in areas of American song, jazz and gospel singing, Latin jazz, and African drumming. The conservatory was founded in 1897 by German-American immigrants as a classical European conservatory.The conservatory was initially located at Franklin Avenue and Lefferts Place. In 1944 it moved to occupy an 1881 five-story mansion at 58 Seventh Avenue, Park Slope, Brooklyn, which had been built in 1881 as the residence of M. Brasher, and subsequently became the Park Slope Masonic Club. The building was designed by S. F. Evelette in the Victorian Gothic style, with Queen Anne elements. It is located in the Park Slope Historic District. The Conservatory operates four divisions catering to 7,500 full and part-time students. It hosts over 200 community events each year including singalongs, recitals, dance parties, curated concert series, performances, workshops and festivals. The Conservatory is a 501(c)(3). Operating funds come from earned revenue and donations made by individual donors, corporations, foundations and government entities.

47 Plaza Street West is an apartment building designed by the noted architect Rosario Candela and completed in 1928 in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York City. The building, located next to Brooklyn's Grand Army Plaza, possesses a distinctive flatiron shape.
