Sartell Dam

The Watab River, also known as Watab Creek, is a 9.8-mile-long (15.8 km) tributary of the Mississippi River in Stearns County in central Minnesota in the United States. It rises north of St. Joseph at the confluence of its North and South Forks, and flows northeast through Watab Lake, then east into the Mississippi River at Sartell. The North Fork Watab River, 6.9 miles (11.1 km) long, rises in Island Lake, a small creek feeds Pflueger Lake, flows northeasterly to Stumpf Lake, then southeasterly near Collegeville, merging with the South Fork near St. Joseph. The South Fork Watab River, 12.7 miles (20.4 km) long, flows southeast from Big Watab Lake to Little Watab Lake, and through a pond before flowing northeast and into North Fork Watab River.

The Sartell Paper Mill, officially the Verso Paper Sartell Mill, was a paper mill located in the city of Sartell in the U.S. state of Minnesota, operating from 1905 until a disastrous explosion in 2012.

The population was 19,351 at the 2020 census, making it St. Cloud's most populous suburb and the fourth-largest city in central Minnesota, after St. Cloud, Elk River, and Willmar.

The Sauk River is a 122-mile-long (196 km) tributary of the Mississippi River in central Minnesota in the United States. It drains small lakes in Stearns County. In the Ojibwe language it is called Ozaagi-ziibi, meaning "River of the Sauks".It issues from Lake Osakis on the Todd County line and flows east through Guernsey Lake, Little Sauk Lake and Juergens Lake, then south through Sauk Lake and past Sauk Centre, southeast past Melrose and Richmond, then northeast through Cedar Island Lake and Zumwalde Lake, past Cold Spring and Waite Park to the Mississippi River 2 miles (3 km) north of St. Cloud. At St. Cloud, MN, the river has a mean annual discharge of 342 cubic feet per second.The rapids that occur south of the river's mouth on the Mississippi River lent their name to the nearby city of Sauk Rapids.

The Francis Arnold House is a historic house in LeSauk Township, Minnesota, United States. It was built in 1884 for the owner and operator of a gristmill that stood just west of the house, on the bank of the Sauk River just above its confluence with the Mississippi. The Arnold House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994 for its local significance in the theme of industry. It was nominated for symbolizing the family-owned, water-powered mills once common in rural Stearns County.

Sauk Rapids Township is a township in Benton County, Minnesota, United States near the Mississippi River. The population was 584 at the 2010 census.

The St. Cloud VA Health Care System is a medical facility of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in St. Cloud, Minnesota. It was established in 1923. In 2012 the complex was listed as the St. Cloud Veterans Administration Hospital Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places for its state-level significance in the themes of architecture, health/medicine, and politics/government. It was nominated for the local political efforts towards its establishment, its impact on health care for Minnesota veterans, and its Colonial and Classical Revival architecture. The historic district contains 34 contributing properties built 1923–1950.

Sauk Rapids ( SAWK) is a city in Benton County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 13,862 at the 2020 census and is 13,896 according to 2021 census estimates, about a third of Benton County's population. It is on a set of rapids on the Mississippi River near its confluence with the Sauk River. Sauk Rapids is part of the St. Cloud metropolitan area.
