The Memorial to Victims of Violence in Mexico (Spanish: Memorial a las víctimas de violencia en México) is a memorial in Chapultepec, Mexico City. Its construction started in 2012 during the presidency of Felipe Calderón and it was opened on 5 April 2013, during the presidency of his successor, Enrique Peña Nieto. As its name indicates, it was dedicated to honoring those who have suffered violence in the country. The memorial is composed of 70 steel walls that have different textures and various reflectors project light from different angles, including some underwater. The architects were Julio Gaeta and Luby Springall (through their company Gaeta Springall Arquitectos) and Lighteam was responsible for the illumination. It is described by their designers as an incomplete and living project, where citizens can write the names of the victims. Additionally, around 40 quotations related to violence and memory, by historical figures, are engraved in the walls. The project was well-received by architecture and art publications. In 2014 the memorial won the Best Use of Color Award at the AL Light & Architecture Design Awards. However, it received polarized comments from human rights groups and society due to two factors. The first was its location at Campo Marte, operated by the Secretariat of National Defense, and the second was participation in the project by Calderón who started the Mexican drug war in 2006.

Parque Lincoln, or Lincoln Park, is a city park in Mexico City, Mexico. The park is located in the Polanco neighborhood of Mexico City (México, D. F.). There is a statue of Martin Luther King Jr. installed in the park, as well as a copy of Abraham Lincoln: The Man (also known as Standing Lincoln). The clock tower was built in 1937 and since 1992 it operates as an art gallery.

Polanco is a neighborhood in the Miguel Hidalgo borough of Mexico City. Polanco is an upscale colonia, noted for its luxury shopping along Presidente Masaryk Avenue, the most expensive street in Mexico, as well as for the numerous prominent cultural institutions located within the neighborhood, such as the Museo Soumaya and the Colección Jumex. Polanco is often called the "Beverly Hills of Mexico", having one of the country's densest concentrations of luxury shopping, with the most upscale restaurants, high-net-worth individuals, upscale hotels, and diplomatic missions and embassies. It is one of the most expensive real estate markets in Latin America.

Pasaje Polanco, originally Pasaje Comercial, is an architecturally significant open-air shopping court with apartments on the upper levels along Avenida Masaryk in the Polanquito section of the Polanco neighborhood of Mexico City. It opened in 1938; Francisco J. Serrano was the architect. It is in Colonial californiano style, that is, a Mexican interpretation of the California interpretation of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and Mission Revival architecture. It consists of an interior courtyard around which there are shops, restaurants, and cafés, with apartments on the upper floors. Shops on the Masaryk Avenue side also have entrances on that street, one of the city's most famous for luxury shopping.

Avenida Presidente Masaryk is a thoroughfare in the affluent Polanco neighborhood of Mexico City. It stretches from Calzada General Mariano Escobedo in the east to Avenida Ferrocarril de Cuernavaca in the west, passing along the north side of the Polanquito restaurant district that borders Parque Lincoln. Masaryk is one of the most expensive shopping districts in the world and competes with Avenida Madero in the Historic Center for the title of street with the highest rents in the city.

National Auditorium (Spanish: Auditorio Nacional) is an entertainment center at Paseo de la Reforma #50, Chapultepec in Mexico City. The National Auditorium is considered among the world's best venues by specialized media. It was designed by Mexican architects Pedro Ramírez Vázquez and Gonzalo Ramírez del Sordo, and remodeled by Abraham Zabludovsky and Teodoro González de León. Concerts, art, theatre, dance, and more are hosted at the venue. It also has a small venue available for smaller events, called Auditorio Lunario. The total seating capacity of 10,000.
