Ashley Hill railway station

Ashley Down railway station is a railway station currently under construction, serving the Ashley Down area of Bristol. The West of England Combined Authority have planned to open a new train station on the site of the disused Ashley Hill railway station, as part of the MetroWest scheme. The reopening is supported by Bristol City Council, Network Rail, local MPs and local rail groups, and will provide rail access to local colleges and to the County Ground, home of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.

The New Orphan Houses, Ashley Down, commonly known as the Muller Homes, were an orphanage in the district of Ashley Down, in the north of Bristol. They were built between 1849 and 1870 by the Prussian evangelist George Müller to show the world that God not only heard, but answered, prayer. The five Houses held 2,050 children at any one time and some 17,000 passed through their doors before the buildings were sold to Bristol City Council in 1958.

Ashley Down is an area in the north of Bristol. It lies on high ground east of Bishopston, north of St Andrews and St Werburghs, west of Muller Road and south of Horfield. The area of land is bordered by central Muller Road, Sir Johns Lane Allotment site, Stoke Park, Lockleaze Open Space and the Priory Hospital, and has been designated a Site of Nature Conservation Interest and an important wildlife corridor.Known for its natural unmodified meadows alongside outstanding views across the west of Bristol City, the area is traversed by a number of public footpaths, used heavily by local running groups and dog walkers, and is regularly used for local wildlife events, including Bat Walks due to its strong and abundant hedgerows. Numerous neighbourhood events take place at South Purdown, involving local community groups, individuals and schools.

St. Werburgh's is an area in north-east central Bristol, England. It is surrounded by the M32 motorway.

The Memorial Stadium, also commonly known by its previous name of the Memorial Ground, is a sports ground in Bristol, England, and is the home of Bristol Rovers F.C. It opened in 1921 dedicated to the memory of local rugby union players killed during the First World War, and was the home of Bristol Bears rugby club until they moved to Ashton Gate in 2014.
