Hoffman Park

The Hunterdon County Arboretum, covering 73 acres (30 ha), is an arboretum located at 1020 Route 31 in Lebanon, New Jersey, United States. It is the headquarters of Hunterdon County's park system, and open to the public daily without charge. The arboretum began as a commercial nursery in 1953, growing both native and exotic trees. In 1974 the site was acquired by the Park Department. It now includes six walking trails with a total length of 2 miles (3.2 km).

Stanton is an unincorporated community located within Readington Township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The community dates back to the 17th century and was settled by the Dutch immigrants. It was originally called Housel's after Johannes Housel, who had a farmstead along Dreahook Road in the mid-18th century. After the death of William Housel (who started a school in the community), the last owner of the Housel farmstead, it then carried the name of Waggoner's Hill after landowner William Waggoner. The community took the descriptive name of Mount Pleasant in the early 20th century and would finally become known as Stanton to distinguish it from another Mount Pleasant. The name "Stanton" was taken from James Logan's Pennsylvania estate: Stenton, which in turn is named for the Scottish village where his father was born. Logan was a proprietor of West Jersey, a mayor of Philadelphia, and a Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Logan Way in Readington is named after him, as well as Logan Circle and the Logan neighborhood in Philadelphia and Logan Township in Clinton County, Pennsylvania. In the 1830s, a Reformed Church and a general store were built. The Stanton Reformed Church still stands today while the Stanton General Store has been converted to an Italian restaurant called the Stanton Italian Table.

Rowland's Mills or Rowland Mills is an unincorporated community located on the western edge of Readington Township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. In 1760, a gristmill was erected at this site, followed by a sawmill around the time of the American Revolutionary War. A hamlet grew up around the mill complex in the early 19th century along the road connecting Flemington and Clinton. In 1838, Rynear Rowland (1798-1862), whom the village was later named after, purchased the mills. At its peak the settlement had a store, a blacksmith shop owned by Oliver Hart Ewing and numerous houses. In the later part of the 19th century the community diminished in size and was all but abandoned in the 1920s when the road through it was widened and designated as State Route 30, the predecessor of modern New Jersey Route 31. The Norfolk Southern Railway's Lehigh Line (formerly the mainline of the Lehigh Valley Railroad), runs through the community.

Allerton (also known as Allerville) is an unincorporated community located within Clinton Township, in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.The community is centered at Route 31 and Allerton Road, 1.8 miles (2.9 km) west of the Round Valley Reservoir and 3.3 miles (5.3 km) southeast of the Spruce Run Reservoir.By 1846, Allerton had a store, steam saw mill, Baptist church, chair factory, and a few dwellings.

Cushetunk Mountain (formerly Mount Ployden and Pickel's Mountain occasionally Mount Cushetunk or Coshanton) is a ring shaped mountain in the U.S. state of New Jersey, located in Readington and Clinton Township in Hunterdon County. The Lenape Native Americans called the mountain "Cushetunk" meaning "place of hogs" after the wild hogs found there. In the 1960s, the valley at the heart of the mountain was dammed and filled with water to create Round Valley Reservoir. Today, the mountain and its accompanying lake act as a vital water supply to Central New Jersey, while at the same time providing numerous recreational opportunities to the region.

The Hunterdon County Vocational School District is a technical and vocational public school district serving students in ninth through twelfth grades and adult learners, located in Flemington, and serving the entire Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States community. Students attend the district's school on a half-day basis for specialized training in 11 core program areas, starting in their sophomore year. Most standard academic courses are taken at the student's home high school.As of the 2017-18 school year, the district and its three schools had an enrollment of 140 students and 17.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 8.0:1.

The Hunterdon County Polytech Career Academy is a vocational public high school that offers technical and career training to students in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States, operating as part of the Hunterdon County Vocational School District. The school is situated at two separate facilities in Raritan Township, the Bartles Corner Campus located off of Bartles Corner Road and the Central Campus located next to the Hunterdon Central Regional High School Field House.

Hamden is an unincorporated community located within Clinton Township, in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.The community is centered just east of the South Branch Raritan River and is situated 3.0 miles (4.8 km) west of the Round Valley Reservoir and 3.0 miles (4.8 km) south-southeast of the Spruce Run Reservoir.

Cherryville is an unincorporated community located within Franklin Township, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States.

Diamond Nation is a 65-acre baseball complex in Flemington, New Jersey, that was established in 2009. It is home to Jack Cust Baseball Academy and Jennie Finch Softball Academy making itself a premier baseball and softball tournament and training center in the country. Diamond Nation currently has seven fields in total. Five of them are with ninety foot base paths, which can be converted into two little league fields each. The other two are seventy foot base paths. The New Jersey Diamond Jacks, which is run by Jack Cust Baseball Academy, was established as an elite 18U organization. The association has expanded to include teams from the 10U age to 18U.Multiple New Jersey high school baseball teams play games at Diamond Nation throughout the spring season.On 20 July 2012, Diamond Nation released Club Diamond Nation, which is a virtual baseball and softball training academy.In early 2014, Diamond Nation made proposals to build another complex in Fredericksburg, Virginia that would be home to Minor League Baseball team, Hagerstown Suns.

The Fink-Type Truss Bridge, also known as the Hamden Bridge, carried Hamden Road/River Road over the South Branch Raritan River, the border between Clinton Township and Franklin Township, at Hamden near the Allerton section of Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The bridge was built in 1857 by the Trenton Locomotive and Machine Manufacturing Company. It consisted of a single-span through truss 100 feet (30 m) long, 15 feet (4.6 m) wide, and 19 feet (5.8 m) high.The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 24, 1974, for its significance in engineering. At the time of its nomination, it was one of the earliest surviving iron truss bridges in the United States. The Fink truss bridge was patented by Albert Fink in 1854, and the Hunterdon county bridge, built 3 years later, was a nearly perfect example of the patented design. It collapsed as a result of an automobile collision in 1978. The remaining pieces were subsequently relocated to the Hunterdon County Government Center. It was documented by the Historic American Engineering Record in 1984, which included photos from 1971.

Hunterdon Medical Center is a 178-bed non-profit community hospital located in Raritan Township, New Jersey near Flemington. In 2021 it was given a grade A by the Leapfrog patient safety organization.Hunterdon Medical Center was founded in 1946 and opened in 1953, a culmination of efforts by the Hunterdon County Board of Agriculture to provide rural medical care to the region. Hunterdon at the time was the only county in the state without a hospital.Since 1972 Hunterdon Medical Center been affiliated with the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. A three-year Family Medicine Residency Program is offered through this teaching affiliation.In January 2019 Pat Gavin was appointed Hunterdon Healthcare System President and CEO. Hunterdon Medical Center is located near Route 31 on Wescott Drive, named in honor of one of its founders, Lloyd Wescott.
