Sefton railway station

Sefton is a suburb of the City of Canterbury-Bankstown local government area. It is located 23 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in New South Wales, Australia. Part of the Western Sydney region, it shares the 2162 postcode with the neighbouring suburb of Chester Hill.

Jensen Oval is a suburban soccer park located on 30 Clapham Road, Sefton, Sydney, Australia, within the City of Canterbury-Bankstown. It is the homeground of the Bankstown City Lions who last played in the New South Wales Premier League in 2011 and Bankstown United FC who last played at Jensen Park in 2022. It can currently hold up to 8,000 spectators. It has 2 main grandstands & a training park next to it. It was built early in the 1960s as a Premier Ground for football in the Bankstown LGA. The Oval's facilities include play equipment, a soccer field, turf cricket pitch and toilets. Before the rebuild in the early 1960s it had been used by the local junior Regents Parks Soccer Club and also for cricket since at least the early 1950s. In 2018 City of Canterbury-Bankstown Council has accepted $2.5 million upgrade to install an artificial turf surface at its Jensen Park soccer field. Construction is scheduled to begin in June and be completed by the end of February, 2019. The Council will work with Bankstown City Lions on future maintenance on the field.

Sefton High School is a government-funded co-educational dual modality partially academically selective and comprehensive secondary day school, located in Sefton, a suburb in western Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1961, the school caters for approximately 1,100, students from Year 7 to Year 12 and is operated by the New South Wales Department of Education.

In 2005, Prime Minister John Howard commended the Darulfatwa - Islamic High Council of Australia for organising an anti-terrorism forum, "Sunnis against Extremism", which was attended by 200 members of the Islamic community. It has also been congratulated within the New South Wales Legislative Assembly for its role as the leading representative for Muslims in Australia.

Salamah College is an independent Islamic co-educational primary and secondary day school, located in Chester Hill, a south-western suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The school motto is Education. Faith. Discipline. Salamah College commenced its first year of K–8 in 2012. However, after expansions the school teaches K–12. The campus features a soccer field, pool, tennis courts and mosque. The campus has over 700 students in both primary and secondary. The school employs more than 100 staff members. It is co-located with Darulfatwa – Islamic High Council of Australia and radio station 2MFM. In June 2016 it was reported that student numbers will increase five-fold, and there are approved plans for $27 million extensions for new classrooms, a childcare centre and a sports centre.Salamah College is a project developed by the Islamic Charity Projects Association (ICPA). ICPA also founded Al Amanah College in Bankstown and Liverpool.

Princes Park is a sports ground in Auburn, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was the home of the New South Wales Gaelic football and hurling teams. The ground has an undefined capacity with four temporary stands acting as makeshift seating with plenty of standing room available around the pitches four sides. Gaelic football, hurling and camogie were played in league and championship format there between the months of March and September. On Sunday 2 November 2008 an Australasian gaelic football Select IX played the Irish International Rules football squad in a game of gaelic football at Princes Park. The game finished in a draw. It has since 2011 been used as an amateur football pitch.
