Evanston is a neighborhood in the city of Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. The population was 9,158 at the 2010 census.A mostly African-American neighborhood since the 1960s, it is known as "the educating community," and is bordered by the neighborhoods of East Walnut Hills, Hyde Park, North Avondale, and Walnut Hills, as well as the City of Norwood. The community was originally known as the village of Idlewood. It was renamed in 1893 after the city of Evanston, Illinois. Evanston was annexed to the City of Cincinnati on November 19, 1903.

The Cincinnati Tennis Club was founded in 1880 just five years after tennis was introduced in America, and is today one of the oldest active tennis clubs in the United States.

The Coca-Cola Bottling Plant is a historic manufacturing facility in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Constructed in the 1930s in high Streamline Moderne style, it no longer produces beverages, but has been named a historic site.

Walnut Hills High School is a public college-preparatory high school in Cincinnati, Ohio. Operated by Cincinnati Public Schools, it houses grades seven through twelve. The school was established in 1895 and has occupied its current building since 1932.

Hoffman Elementary School is a historic former elementary school in the Evanston neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. The building was designed by the firm of noted architect Samuel Hannaford. It was constructed in 1922. Around 2012, Cincinnati Public Schools planned to tear it down, but instead sold it at auction to a single individual, who donated it to the Christ Temple Baptist Church. In 2023, the church hoped to sell the building to a real estate developer who wanted to demolish the building and construct apartments on the site. The Cincinnati Preservation Association responded with an application to list the building as a Cincinnati Local Historic Landmark. The application was approved by the Historic Conservation Board in May 2023, and will face approval from the Cincinnati Planning Commission and Cincinnati City Council before listing.The school building was determined to be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, 1998, and 2019. In 1978, the Cincinnati Historic Resource Survey also listed the school as a property that "greatly contributes to the historic and/or architectural quality of the City of Cincinnati".

The Cintas Center is a 10,250-seat multi-purpose arena and conference center at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. The arena officially opened in 2000 and was constructed through private donations as part of Xavier University's Century Campaign. It is home to the Xavier University Musketeers basketball and volleyball teams. It is named for the uniform company Cintas.

Xavier University () is a private Jesuit university in Cincinnati and Norwood, Ohio. It is the sixth-oldest Catholic and fourth-oldest Jesuit university in the United States. Xavier has an undergraduate enrollment of 5,145 students and graduate enrollment of 1,506 students. The school's system comprises the main campus in Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as regional locations for the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program in Columbus and Cleveland. Xavier University is primarily an undergraduate, liberal arts institution. Purcell Marian High School is a parochial high school in the East Walnut Hills neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, based in the Marianist tradition. It is located in the DeSales Corner business district, along Madison Road. Purcell Marian is a Roman Catholic, co-educational high school serving a multi-racial student body of many faiths with differing backgrounds and educational needs. It is chartered by the state of Ohio and accredited by North Central Association of Schools. Urban in its environment, it is supervised by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. In October 2019, Purcell Marian was authorized as an International Baccalaureate World School.

Corcoran Field is a 1,600-seat soccer stadium located on the campus of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is part of the Xavier University Soccer Complex. It is home to the Xavier University men's and women's soccer teams, who compete in the Big East Conference. The Xavier football team played at XU Soccer Complex until 1972.

Corcoran Stadium was a stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. It hosted the Xavier University Musketeers football team until the school dropped football for financial reasons in 1973. The stadium held 15,000 people when it opened on November 23, 1929. The stadium was finally razed in 1988 after attempts to revive the program in the NCAA's Division III failed. Corcoran Stadium also played host to one NFL game on October 7, 1934 when the Cincinnati Reds (NFL) took on the Chicago Cardinals. The Reds lost the match by a score of 13-0 before 2,500 Reds fans. Corcoran Stadium can be seen in the 1946 movie The Best Years of Our Lives as "Jackson High Football Stadium". A few seconds later Walnut Hills High School with its distinctive dome and football field can be seen along with the downtown Cincinnati skyline (Carew Tower and PNC Tower) in the background.

J. Page Hayden Field is a baseball venue in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. It is home to the Xavier Musketeers baseball team of the NCAA Division I Big East. Since 2006, the Cincinnati Steam of the collegiate summer Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League have also used Hayden Field. The facility was dedicated in 1982 for J. Page Hayden, under whose name a donation for the field's renovation was made. It has a capacity of 500 spectators.

East Walnut Hills Firehouse is a registered historic building in Cincinnati, Ohio, listed in the National Register on February 17, 1983. It is in the East Walnut Hills neighborhood.Built in 1886, it accommodated the Fire Company No. 23 and Ladder Company No. 9.
