Boulevard de la Chapelle

La Chapelle (French pronunciation: ​[la ʃapɛl]) is a station on Paris Métro Line 2, on the border of the 10th and 18th arrondissements above the Boulevard de la Chapelle. The station is connected to the Gare du Nord and the Gare du Nord Métro station on lines 4 and 5.

The Bouffes du Nord is a theatre at 37 bis, boulevard de la Chapelle, in the 10th arrondissement of Paris located near the Gare du Nord. It has been listed since 1993 as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.

The Hôpital Fernand-Widal (English: Fernand-Widal Hospital) is an establishment of the Assistance Publique–Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) located at 200, rue du Faubourg-Saint-Denis in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. A public teaching hospital, Fernand-Widal has medicine, surgery, and obstetric departments and treats a large number of indigent patients including those with drug addictions. The building is a landmark of Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Denis, and was known until 1959 as Maison Dubois, after surgeon Antoine Dubois. At the turn of the century, Maison Dubois had 450 beds and was also known as the "municipal hospital for the insane" or Maison Municipal de Santé. Fernand-Widal now bears the name of doctor Georges-Fernand Widal, author of works on typhoid and kidney diseases.Fernald-Widal Hospital is Paris' primary poison control center, and the hospital is host to an internationally renowned toxicology department. The hospital's expertise in the area of drug overdoses has resulted in them treating celebrity or criminal patients, including pop star Dalida in 1967 and art dealer Fernand Legros (charged with dealing in forgeries). Research published in 1991 by doctors at the hospital found that many house-fire survivors may be subsequently poisoned by cyanide released by burning household fabrics. The hospital's toxicologists are regarded as the world's experts in the management of cases involving the typically fatal ingestion of poisonous Amanita phalloides "death cap" mushrooms. The department came to prominence under the leadership of Michel Gaultier, who trained as a forensic pathologist and became head of internal medicine at Fernand-Widal in the 1950s. Hôpital Fernand-Widal is served by the La Chapelle and Gare du Nord metro stations.It is affiliated to Université Paris Cité.

SUPINFO International University, formerly called "École Supérieure d'Informatique", is a private institution of higher education in Computer Science that was created in 1965 and has been recognized by the French state since 10 January 1972. Over a five-year period SUPINFO trains ICT professionals who can work in IT organizations upon completion of their courses. They are then issued a diploma which is registered by the French State as a level I national professional certificate (Bac+5, Master's degree).

Magenta is a station of the Île-de-France Réseau Express Régional, in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, France. Built on the site of the Gare du Nord, the original name of Magenta station was Nord-Est with the possibility of a connection to both Paris-Nord and Paris-Est.

Saint-Bernard-de-la-Chapelle (French pronunciation: ​[sɛ̃.bɛʁ.naʁ.də.la.ʃa.pɛl]), is a Neo-gothic Roman Catholic parish church in the Goutte d'Or neighborhood of the 18th arrondissement of Paris, located at the intersection of the Rue Saint-Bruno and the Rue Affre.Saint-Bernard is also the name of the chapel of the Gare Montparnasse.

The Gare du Nord (pronounced [ɡaʁ dy nɔːʁ]; English: North Station), officially Paris-Nord, is one of the seven large mainline railway station termini in Paris, France. The station accommodates the trains that run between the capital and northern France via the Paris–Lille railway, as well as to international destinations in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Located in the northern part of Paris near the Gare de l'Est in the 10th arrondissement, the Gare du Nord offers connections with several urban transport lines, including Paris Métro, RER and buses. The majority of its passengers have been commuters travelling between the northern suburbs of Paris and outlying towns. It is the busiest railway station in Europe by total passenger numbers; in 2015, the Gare du Nord saw more than 700,000 passengers per day.The current Gare du Nord was designed by French architect Jacques Ignace Hittorff, while the original complex was constructed between 1861 and 1864 on behalf of the Chemin de Fer du Nord company. The station replaced an earlier and much smaller terminal sharing the same name, which was operational between 1846 and 1860. A substantial refurbishment programme being performed during the late 2010s and early 2020s will greatly redesign the station. The plans for this include a significant expansion of the station's footprint and ability to handle passengers, expanding onsite amenities and establishing a new departure terminal in preparation for the 2024 Summer Olympics. As a consequence of this redevelopment, the Gare du Nord will become the largest railway station in Europe.

Louis Blanc (French pronunciation: [lwi blɑ̃]) is a Paris Métro station on line 7 and 7bis (serving as the western terminus of Paris Métro Line 7bis). The station is named after rue Louis Blanc, which honours Louis Blanc (1811–1882), who published political works, which led to the foundation of the French Socialist Party. He was a member of the Provisional Government of 1848 and had exiled himself to London during the Second Empire from 1848 to 1870. He was then elected to the French National Assembly in 1870. The station has two island platforms and two side platforms, a layout rarely found elsewhere in the Métro.

Gare du Nord (French: [ɡaʁ dy nɔʁ]) is a station on Line 4 and Line 5 of the Paris Métro. It is the busiest station in the system (not including RER stations), with 48 million entrances a year. It is connected to the SNCF railway station Gare du Nord (literally, "North Station", until 1938 run by the well-known company Chemins de Fer du Nord), which is served by RER B, RER D and Transilien Nord commuter trains as well as interurban trains to northern France, Eurostar trains to London and Thalys trains to Brussels, Amsterdam and Cologne. The station is also connected to the La Chapelle Métro station on Line 2 and to the Magenta RER station on RER E.

Stalingrad (French: [stalinɡʁad] ) is a Paris Métro station on the border between the 10th arrondissement and 19th arrondissement at the intersection of Lines 2, 5 and 7, located at the Place de la Bataille-de-Stalingrad, which is named after the Battle of Stalingrad.

Château-Landon (French pronunciation: ​[ʃɑto lɑ̃dɔ̃]) is a station on line 7 of the Paris Métro in the 10th arrondissement. The station was opened on 5 November 1910 as part of the first section of the line from Opéra to Porte de la Villette. It is named after the Rue Château-Landon, a street which was built on property once owned by a family from Château-Landon in Seine-et-Marne. The street is on the alignment of the Roman road from Lutetia towards the North via Saint-Denis. It was planned to become the end of the future new line (created from the merger of line 3bis and line 7bis). It is also planned to build an underground pedestrian connection to the RER Line E station of Magenta, which would also link to the Gare du Nord and the Gare de l'Est.

Marx Dormoy (French pronunciation: ​[maʁks dɔʁmwa]) is a station on line 12 of the Paris Métro in the districts of La Chapelle and Goutte d'Or and the 18th arrondissement. The station opened on 23 August 1916 as part of the extension of the Nord-Sud company's line A from Jules Joffrin to Porte de la Chapelle. On 27 March 1931 line A became line 12 of the Métro. The station is named after Marx Dormoy (1888–1941), a French socialist politician assassinated by Cagoulards. Until 1946 it was called Torcy after the Place de Torcy, named after Colbert de Torcy (1665–1746), who was a nephew of Colbert and a diplomat and Foreign Minister under Louis XIV. Nearby is the church of Jeanne d'Arc, where Joan of Arc prayed on 3 September 1429 and the la Chapelle market.
