The Florida State Football Sod Cemetery is a symbolic monument that memorializes a longstanding college football tradition that dates back to 1962. It features over 100 bronze plaques, each commemorating a "sod game." Sod games represent the Seminoles' greatest victories away from the team's home in Tallahassee. Interred beneath each bronze plaque is a piece of sod—a fragment from the field—that is ceremoniously extracted from the stadiums where the Seminoles claimed victory. In the summer of 2013, Florida State built new practice fields, and the cemetery was moved to its current location. Situated 200 feet north of Doak Campbell Stadium (Gate M) and just outside the entrance to the Al Dunlap Seminole Practice Fields, the Sod Cemetery draws thousands of spectators on game days. Inside its gates, the plaques chronicle the evolution of a program that originated as an underdog and ascended to powerhouse status. Each marker represents a day when the Seminoles went on the road and prevailed, be it as the underdogs, during fierce rivalries, or significant championship matches. Through this lens, one can trace the program's highs and lows—from seasons with few sod games due to being favored, to downturns when the Seminoles were underdogs. It stands as a reminder of the Seminoles’ most iconic road triumphs, resonating with players, coaches, and visitors who pass by.

The Florida State University (FSU) "Flying High" Circus is an extra-curricular activity under FSU's Division of Student Affairs. Located in Tallahassee, Florida, it is one of two such collegiate circuses in the United States, along with Illinois State University's Gamma Phi Circus. All members of the FSU Circus are required to be a degree-seeking student registered at Florida State University and are accepted after an audition.The FSU Circus is primarily a three-ring aerial and stage presentation with no animal acts. Student performers rig all of their own equipment, set up the circus's tent, sew costumes and produce lights and sound for performances.

JoAnne Graf Field at the Seminole Softball Complex is the home field for the Florida State Seminoles softball team: it is on the campus of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.

The Florida State University College of Social Work, is the social work school of the Florida State University. The College is the oldest in the state of Florida. About 917 students are enrolled, including undergraduates and graduate students, including Master of Social Work and Doctor of Philosophy-seeking students. All programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

University Center FSU (officially Devoe L. Moore University Center) is a group of four brick buildings that surround Doak Campbell Stadium at the southwest corner of the campus of Florida State University. As the name suggests, the 800,000 ft² complex is the hub of administrative, athletic and booster activities. The brick facade around the stadium matches the architectural design of most of the buildings on the university's campus. Planning and funding began under President Sliger in the early 1990s and construction lasted almost 20 years at a cost of hundreds of millions. Campbell stadium with the University Center "is the second largest continuous brick structure in the world (the first being the Great Wall of China) and the 49th largest stadium in the world."

Doak S. Campbell Stadium (in full Bobby Bowden Field at Doak S. Campbell Stadium), popularly known as "Doak", is a football stadium on the campus of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. It is the home field of the Florida State Seminoles football team of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Opened in 1950, it was originally named Doak Campbell Stadium in honor of Doak S. Campbell, the university's first president. On November 20, 2004, the Florida Legislature added longtime head football coach Bobby Bowden to the stadium name to become Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium. A petition in June 2020 sought to remove Campbell's name, as he resisted racial integration while president of Florida State University. FSU President John E. Thrasher asked Athletics Director David Coburn "to immediately review this issue and make recommendations to me." As of June 2022, no recommendations have been made. The stadium is part of the University Center complex, a mixed-use facility encompassing university office space, university classrooms, the university's Visitor's Center, souvenir store, The University Center Club, now known as the Dunlap Champions Club, and skyboxes and press boxes for use during football games. With a capacity of 79,560, the 49th-largest stadium in the world, the second-largest stadium in the Atlantic Coast Conference, and the 15th largest stadium in the NCAA.

The Bobby Tully Gymnasium (in full Lucy McDaniel Court at Robert Tully Gym) is a 2,500 seat multi-purpose arena at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida that serves as the home for the Lady Seminoles volleyball team and offices of the student recreation department. A million-dollar donation in the late 1990s paid for a renovation that included lighting, seating and gymnasium flooring. In November 2000 the facility was renamed to honor Lucy McDaniel.

The Dedman College of Hospitality is located in Tallahassee, Florida at Florida State University. The College was founded in 1947 and offers majors in Hospitality Management & Tourism and Global Club Management & Leadership. They previously offered a degree in Professional Golf Management, but the major is no longer offered. The Dedman College was the first hospitality and tourism management program offered in the state of Florida.The Dedman College of Hospitality is located at University Center B in the south endzone of Doak Campbell Stadium. Based on input from industry representatives, the hospitality management major's business component attracts companies to FSU students and as a result, the college boasts a high job placement record. The Dedman College of Hospitality also offers a major in Global Club Management & Leadership, which is for students interested in the growing industry of international and domestic private clubs and golf resorts. FSU has a long, distinguished history of graduating professional golfers and educating students for business and hospitality operations. As of 2021, the school is now officially a College.

Student housing at Florida State University is governed by the Office of University Housing, and provides housing for undergraduates, graduate students, and professional students on and off-campus. Overall about 85% of first time in college students live in residence halls. In addition over 20% of all undergraduates live in student housing.Facilities at Florida State include 18 residence halls on campus with 6,712 residents. Undergraduates live in a majority of the residence halls.In 2009, the university celebrated the completion of a 15-year project that renovated the seven historic residence halls (built before 1950). The interiors were modernized while the original facades were retained. The construction began in 1992 with Jennie Murphree Hall and ended in 2006 with Landis Hall.All dormitories are co-ed with no single sex buildings. The Florida State University College of Medicine, located in Tallahassee, Florida, is one of sixteen colleges composing the Florida State University. The college, created in 2000, is an accredited medical school, offering the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree for physicians. The College of Medicine also offers a Ph.D. degree and a Physician Assistant program. As of 31 December 2017, the school had 471 students, of which 465 were Florida residents, 135 were underrepresented minorities, and 195 were minority students. There were 224 men and 247 women.
