Brzezowa [bʐɛˈzɔva] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dobczyce, within Myślenice County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Dobczyce, 10 km (6 mi) east of Myślenice, and 26 km (16 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków.

It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south of Dobczyce, 13 km (8 mi) east of Myślenice, and 27 km (17 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kraków.

Lake Dobczyce (Polish: Jezioro Dobczyckie) is an artificial lake, built in 1985 - 1987. It is located in southern Poland (Lesser Poland Voivodeship), thirty kilometers south of Kraków. The lake, which lies between the Island Beskids, and the Wieliczka Foothills, was built to regulate the Raba river between the towns of Dobczyce and Myślenice. The Raba river dam has the length of 617 meters, and the height of 30 meters. The decision to build the dam and the lake was taken in 1970. In the following years, 70 hectares of forest were cut down, and villages, schools, plants and cemeteries were moved from the valley. With the completion of the dam and the lake, the problem of frequent flooding of the Raba valley was solved. Lake Dobczyce provides water for the city of Kraków, it also has a hydroelectric power plant. Due to a picturesque location, the lake is very popular among residents of the city, who take advantage of walking and bicycle trails. Furthermore, it is a nesting place for several species of aquatic birds. The Dobczyce Castle is located on a rocky hill above Lake Dobczyce since 1311.

Łęki [ˈwɛŋkʲi] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Myślenice, within Myślenice County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) east of Myślenice and 27 km (17 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków.

Dobczyce Castle (Polish: Zamek w Dobczycach) is a castle in Dobczyce, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It is located on a rocky hill above Lake Dobczyce. The castle was first mentioned in written sources in 1362, but had been fortified since 1311. In the time of Casimir III the Great, the walls were from 5 to 9 meters thick, and the castle was a fortified stronghold. In 1398, the castle was the abode of King Władysław II Jagiełło and his wife Jadwiga. In 1473, for several months, Prince Casimir stayed here after returning from an unsuccessful expedition. The Lubomirski family, who ruled the castle from 1585, rebuilt the Gothic fortress into a Renaissance residence in the years 1593–1594. The clocktower, chapel and fountain were added. By 1620 the castle had 70 rooms and 3 towers. In the 1960s the site was extensively excavated.
