Bogaarden

Pepingen (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈpeːpɪŋə(n)]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the villages of Beert, Bellingen, Bogaarden, Elingen, Heikruis and Pepingen proper. It is also situated in the Pajottenland. On January 1, 2006, Pepingen had a total population of 4,352. The total area is 36.05 km² which gives a population density of 121 inhabitants per km².

Herfelingen is a village in the municipality of Herne in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. It was a municipality itself until the fusion of the municipalities in 1977.

The Pajottenland (in English occasionally Payottenland) is a distinct region within the Flemish Brabant province and the south-western part of the Brussels Region of Belgium. The region is located west-southwest of Brussels. The Pajottenland is predominantly farmland, with occasional gently rolling hills, and lies mostly between the rivers Dender and Zenne / Senne. The area has historically provided food and drink for the citizens of Brussels, especially Lambic beers, which are only produced here and in the Zenne valley where Brussels is.

Lennik (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈlɛnɪk]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the towns of Sint-Kwintens-Lennik, Sint-Martens-Lennik, Eizeringen and Gaasbeek. It is also situated in the Pajottenland. On January 1, 2006, Lennik had a total population of 8,694. The total area is 30.80 km² which gives a population density of 282 inhabitants per km². On its territory is the national Gaasbeek Castle museum. A 4 metre high statue of Prince (a traditional plough horse) stands on the Market Place.

Gooik (Dutch pronunciation: [ɣoːik]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the towns of Gooik proper, Kester, Leerbeek, Strijland and Oetingen. It is also situated in the Pajottenland. On January 1, 2018 Gooik had a total population of 9,236. The total area is 39.70 km2 (15.33 sq mi), which gives a population density of 232 inhabitants per square kilometre (600/sq mi).

Gaasbeek is a village in the Belgian municipality of Lennik in Flemish Brabant. It is most known for Gaasbeek Castle, which is now a national museum. In 2007 it was chosen as one of the 15 most beautiful villages in Flanders.

The Quenast quarry (French: Carrière de Quenast) or Porphyry quarries of Quenast is a historic porphyry deposit in Belgium and Europe's largest open-pit quarry. Porphyry has been mined from the quarry as an important source for construction since the 17th century and was traditionally used to make Belgian cobblestones for city streets.

Tubize (French pronunciation: [tybiz] ; Dutch: Tubeke [ˈtybeːkə]) is a city and municipality of Wallonia located in the Belgian province of Walloon Brabant. On January 1, 2006 Tubize had a total population of 22,335. The total area is 32.66 km2 which gives a population density of 684 inhabitants per km2. The municipality includes the districts of Clabecq, Oisquercq, Saintes, and Tubize. Bordering Flanders, the town is home to a minority of Dutch-speakers.

Gaasbeek Castle (Dutch: Kasteel van Gaasbeek, French: Château de Gaesbeek) is a castle located in Lennik, Flemish Brabant in Belgium. Nowadays, it serves as a national museum.
