The Lefebvre Brewery in Quenast, Wallonia, Belgium, was founded in 1876 by Jules Lefebvre. It produces a range of beers including Barbar, an 8% abv strong pale ale containing honey, and the Floreffe brand of abbey beers.

Braine-le-Comte railway station (French: Gare de Braine-le-Comte; Dutch: Station 's-Gravenbrakel) is a railway station in Braine-le-Comte, Hainaut, Belgium. The station opened on 31 October 1841 and is located on railway lines 96, 117 and 123. The train services are operated by the National Railway Company of Belgium (SNCB/NMBS).

On January 1, 2018, Braine-le-Comte had a total population of 21,649. The total area is 84.68 square kilometres (32.70 sq mi) which gives a population density of 260 inhabitants per km2. The municipality consists of the following districts: Braine-le-Comte, Hennuyères, Henripont, Petit-Rœulx-lez-Braine, Ronquières, and Steenkerque. The Ronquières inclined plane at the Canal du Centre is in the municipality of Braine-Le Comte.

Clabecq (Dutch: Klabbeek; Walloon: Clabek) is a district of the Belgian municipality of Tubize, Wallonia, located in the province of Walloon Brabant. It was formerly its own municipality until the period of fusion of Belgian municipalities in 1977. It is traversed by the Brussels-Charleroi Canal, and the steelmaking Forges of Clabecq are situated on its banks. Its postal code is 1480, formerly 1361.

Bogaarden is a village in the municipality of Pepingen, in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The name 'Bogaarden' means "orchards". Gertrude of Nivelles, daughter of Pippin I, was due to the inherit the property. But when she joined the Abbey of St. Gertrude, all her possessions were donated to the abbey.

Boon Brewery (Brouwerij Boon) is a Belgian brewery in Lembeek, near Brussels, that mainly produces geuze and kriek beer of a fairly traditional lambic variety, but using modern brewing techniques and equipment. Other products of the brewery including Faro beer and Duivelsbier, the traditional beer of Halle. The brewery was founded in 1978. Frank Boon purchased the De Vits brewery, café and geuzestekerij when Rene De Vits and his sister Jeanne decided to retire. The brewery moved from Hondzocht to Lembecq itself and the first beer was produced there in the fall of 1990 in partnership with Palm Belgian Craft Brewers, which took a 50% stake. The production increases steadily: 450 hl in 1990, 5 000 hl in 2000, 11 300 hl in 2009, 14 000 hl in 2011. The head of the brewery is Frank Boon and the Boon family own 50%. The other 50% was sold to Palm Breweries, but in 2014 this stake was transferred to Palm's parent company Diepensteyn NV and Boon was not involved in Palm's sale to Bavaria in 2016. The distribution deal between Palm and Boon came to an end in 2016.

The Arrondissement of Soignies consists of the following municipalities: Since 2019 Braine-le-Comte Écaussinnes Le Rœulx Manage Soignies Seneffe Before 2019 Braine-le-Comte Écaussinnes Enghien La Louvière Le Roeulx Lessines Silly Soignies The municipalities of Enghien, Lessines and Silly are transferred on January 1, 2019 to the Arrondissement of Ath while the municipalities of Manage and Seneffe from the Arrondissement of Charleroi are integrated on the same date into the Arrondissement of Soignies. La Louvière is detached from the Arrondissement on the same date to create the new Arrondissement of La Louvière.

Pepingen (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈpeːpɪŋə(n)]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the villages of Beert, Bellingen, Bogaarden, Elingen, Heikruis and Pepingen proper. It is also situated in the Pajottenland. On January 1, 2006, Pepingen had a total population of 4,352. The total area is 36.05 km² which gives a population density of 121 inhabitants per km².
