Rotterdam Hofplein railway station in the Netherlands is a former main-line and RandstadRail station. It was the terminus of the former Hofpleinlijn (Hofplein line) which ran trains between Rotterdam and Scheveningen, and were later curtailed to The Hague central station. It was located very close to the railway line between Rotterdam Centraal and Rotterdam Blaak, but never had a direct connection to it.

FG Food Labs is a restaurant in Rotterdam by chef François Geurds. Since 2015, the restaurant has one Michelin star. GaultMillau awarded the restaurant 16.5 points out of a maximum of 20 points.

Oude Noorden (Old North) is an area of north Rotterdam, Netherlands and is part of the borough Noord. It has approximately 18,000 inhabitants. The district has much pre World War I and World War II architecture still in existence. It has a vibrant though somewhat discreet artistic community.

Bergweg is a street in Rotterdam, which connects Rotterdam with Bergschenhoek through Hillegersberg. Nowadays the Bergweg is a road in the neighborhood Oude Noorden between the Schiekade and Gordelweg. The buildings mostly dating from the early twentieth century. In the street lies the Rotterdam Noord railway station and the closed Bergweg railway station.

The Rotte is a river in the Rhine-Maas-delta in the Netherlands. The Rotte is the eponym of the city of Rotterdam: the city was founded in the 13th century when a dam was built along the river.

Hofplein is a major public town square in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The square lies on a crossing of the Weena, the Schiekade and the Coolsingel. In the center of the square a large fountain is situated. Near the square lay the former Rotterdam Hofplein railway station.

Joelia is a restaurant in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The restaurant received a Michelin star in 2016. The Dutch royal couple Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands celebrated their fifteenth wedding anniversary in Joelia. During the corona pandemic, the restaurant devised a way to welcome diners despite the new corona rules for restaurants and cafes. For a tenner extra, they were registered as hotel guests of the Hilton Hotel located above. Guests could enter the one-star restaurant through the hotel lobby. It caused many negative reactions. It was then decided to keep the restaurant's doors closed for the next four weeks anyway. This decision was taken in consultation with the municipality of Rotterdam.

Stadhuis (Dutch for town hall) is an underground subway station in the city of Rotterdam, and is located on Rotterdam Metro lines D and E. The station opened on 9 February 1968, the same date that the North-South Line (also temporarily called Erasmus line), of which it is a part, was opened. The station is located in the center of Rotterdam, underneath the Coolsingel, a major street through the center.

Rotterdam Delftsche Poort was a railway station of the Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg-Maatschappij in Rotterdam, Netherlands located on the Oude Lijn from Amsterdam Willemspoort station to Rotterdam. The station was located east of the present-day Rotterdam Centraal.

St Hildegard's Church (Dutch: Sint-Hildegardiskerk) is a Roman Catholic church in the Oude Noorden (in Hillegersberg, before the boundary changes of 1904) in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The neo-Gothic cruciform church was built between 1890 and 1892 according to a design by the Rotterdam architect Evert Margry, one of the most important students of Pierre Cuyper. However, the church was completed by his brother Albert Margry and his colleague JM Snickers following his death in 1891. The church is dedicated to Saint Hildegard of Bingen. The original church consisted of the choir, a bay of the nave, and both transepts. Between 1904 and 1905, the church was enlarged by Margry and Snickers with a tower and four additional bays. The tower is quite similar to the tower of the Bonifatius Church in Zaandam from 1900.The parish of Saints Hildegardis and Antonius used the church independently until 2008, before merging with two other Rotterdam parishes into the new parish of Saints Franciscus and Clara. The new parish now only uses the Hildegardis Church: the Church of the Holy Redeemer and Saint Barbara and the Church of the Holy Family were disposed of in 2008.Together with the Sint-Lambertus Church in Kralingen, it is the last neo-Gothic church in Rotterdam still in use today. It is also a rijksmonument.

Rotterdam City Hall was built between 1914 and 1920 by Henri Evers. It is one of the few buildings in the center of Rotterdam that survived the bombing of May 14, 1940. Since 10 October 2000 it has been recognized as a Rijksmonument.
