The UM Arena Stadium (Malay: Stadium Sains Sukan UM Arena, literally UM Arena Sports Science Stadium) is a stadium located inside the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It holds 1,000 people. The stadium was used in the 2017 SEA Games football tournament and the 2018 AFC U-16 Championship.

The Bukit Kiara Selatan MRT station, previously known as the Bukit Kiara MRT Station, is a future mass rapid transit (MRT) station on the MRT Circle Line and Kajang Line. The proposed site for the station will be located in between Phileo Damansara and Pusat Bandar Damansara stations. The station is expected to be built as an interchange for both of the lines with constructions slated to begin in 2023. It will be an elevated station under the working name of Bukit Kiara South.

The Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya (commonly known as the UM Medical School, FoM UM, UM Medicine or Malaya Medicine) is one of the thirteen faculties of the University of Malaya (UM). It was officially established in September 1962 after the establishment of the university's Kuala Lumpur campus; it was the first medical school established in Malaysia.The faculty is well-known for its medical education and research, especially in the discovery of the Nipah virus (1998–1999 Malaysia Nipah virus outbreak).The faculty is widely regarded as the top medical school in Malaysia, being placed at No. 145 in the world in the subject of Medicine in the QS World University Subject Rankings 2021; this makes it the highest ranked medical school in Malaysia and the third highest in Southeast Asia.

The University of Malaya (Malay: Universiti Malaya; abbreviated as UM) is a public research university located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the oldest and highest ranking Malaysian institution of higher education according to two international ranking agencies, and also the only university in the post-independent Malaya. The university has graduated four prime ministers of Malaysia, and other political, business, and cultural figures of national prominence. The predecessor of the university, King Edward VII College of Medicine, was established on 28 September 1905 in Singapore, then a territory of the British Empire. In October 1949, the merger of the King Edward VII College of Medicine and Raffles College created the university. Rapid growth during its first decade caused the university to organize as two autonomous divisions on 15 January 1959, one located in Singapore and the other in Kuala Lumpur. In 1960, the government of Malaysia indicated that these two divisions should become autonomous and separate national universities. One branch was located in Singapore, later becoming the National University of Singapore after the independence of Singapore from Malaysia, and the other branch was located in Kuala Lumpur, retaining the name University of Malaya. Legislation was passed in 1961 and the University of Malaya was established on 1 January 1962. In 2012, UM was granted autonomy by the Ministry of Higher Education.Today, UM has more than 2,500 faculty members and is divided into thirteen faculties, two academies, five institutes and six academic centres. In the latest QS World University Rankings, UM is currently ranked 65th in the world, 9th in Asia, 3rd in Southeast Asia and the highest ranked learning institution in Malaysia.The Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, Japanese Language and Linguistic Course was awarded the Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendation for their contributions to promotion of Japanese language education in Malaysia on 1 December 2020.

Bangsar is a residential suburb on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, lying about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) south-west of the city centre. It is part of the Lembah Pantai parliamentary constituency. Bangsar is administered by Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), unlike other townships in the Klang Valley such as Petaling Jaya and Subang Jaya which have their municipal councils. Neighbourhood residents' associations and business councils play a part in communicating with the local authority, but they exercise no legal or administrative power. Malays make up most of the population at 61%, followed by the Chinese at 24%, Indians at 15%.

The Pusat Bandar Damansara MRT Station or Pavilion Damansara Heights-Pusat Bandar Damansara MRT Station for sponsorship purposes, is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station serving the areas of Damansara Town Centre, Damansara Heights and Bangsar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is one of the stations of the Kajang Line and was opened on 16 December 2016 when Phase One of the line became operational.

The Al-Rahman Mosque (Malay: Masjid Al-Rahman) is a mosque in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The mosque is located at University of Malaya in Jalan Pantai Baharu and was named after the first Malaysian Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj. Today, the mosque is joint managed by University of Malaya and the Department of Federal Territory Islamic Affairs (JAWI).

The Saidina Abu Bakar As Siddiq Mosque (MSABA) (Malay: Masjid Saidina Abu Bakar As-Siddiq) is a prominent mosque in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The mosque was named after Muhammad's successor (Caliph) Abu Bakr.

Bangsar Park was the first residential area to be developed within the area which is now known as Bangsar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is a much sought-after residential and commercial address in the Klang Valley. It lies about four kilometres southwest of the city centre and is a ten minutes drive by car from the city centre. It is given the postcode of 59000. The Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur is the local governing authority. It is represented by the Bangsar Park Residents' Association. Bangsar Park is also part of the Lembah Pantai constituency and its Member of Parliament is Nurul Izzah Anwar, for the past 2 terms.

The Phileo Damansara station is a mass rapid transit station serving the Phileo Damansara Commercial Centre and the northern sections of Petaling Jaya (Sections 16, 17, 17A and 19), Selangor, Malaysia. The station is on the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line and was opened on 16 December 2016 under Phase One operations of the line.

The Kerinchi Pylon is a lattice-steel transmission tower located near Menara Telekom in Kerinchi, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was built by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) in the middle of 1999. At 103 metres (338 ft), the pylon is recorded in the Malaysian Book of Records as the tallest electricity pylon in Southeast Asia. The Kerinchi Pylon differs from other electricity pylons of comparable height, like those of Elbe Crossing 2, because is it not used for a powerline crossing of a wide waterway and that it is just a single structure. It is the tallest strainer pylon in the world, all taller pylons are suspension pylons of long-distance spans.
