Limont Castle (French: Donjon de Limont) is a 13th-century keep (donjon) in the ancienne commune of Limont, in the municipality of Donceel, Liège Province, Wallonia, Belgium. The keep, which served as the fortified residence for Robert de Limont, the first lord of the area, included a front entry raised to the second level (see image) to provide an extra security precaution in case of attack. Limont Castle is not directly associated with the Château de Limont, built in the 18th century roughly 850 metres (930 yd) northwest of the fortified tower, on land that was part of the estate.

The total area is 23.31 km² which gives a population density of 121 inhabitants per km². The municipality consists of the following districts: Donceel, Haneffe, Jeneffe, and Limont.

The Arrondissement of Waremme (French: Arrondissement de Waremme; Dutch: Arrondissement Borgworm) is one of the four administrative arrondissements in the Walloon province of Liège, Belgium. Its size is 389.86 km2 (150.53 sq mi) and its population on 1 January 2015 was 78,851 people. The Arrondissement is only an administrative one. Judicially its communes depend on the Arrondissement of Liège except for Braives, Hannut, Lincent, Saint-Georges-sur-Meuse, and Wasseiges who depend on Huy.

Warnant-Dreye (Walloon: Wernant) is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Villers-le-Bouillet, located in the province of Liège, Belgium. Its post code is 4530. It should not be confused with the Warnant located in the province of Namur.

Hasselbroek Castle (Dutch: Kasteel van Hasselbroek), also Hasselbrouck Castle (French: Château de Hasselbrouck) is a 17th-century country house in Hasselbroek, in Jeuk, a part of the municipality of Gingelom, province of Limburg, Belgium. The building was constructed in a U-shape. The right wing in Maasland Renaissance style dates from 1620. Architect Jacques Barthelemy Renoz, born in Liège (1729–1786) built the neoclassical wing main building in 1770. The left wing was for the use of dependencies. The castle was built by the Bormans van Hasselbroek family. Jean-Henri Bormans of Hasselblad Broek (1706–1774) undertook a variety of expansions and improvements. He was personal advisor to Prince-Bishop Franciscus Karel de Velbrück. Architect Jacques Barthelemy Renoz, born in Liège (1729–1786) built the neoclassical wing in 1770.

Verlaine (French pronunciation: ​[vɛʁlɛn]; Walloon: Verlinne) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium. On January 1, 2006, Verlaine had a total population of 3,507. The total area is 24.21 km2 which gives a population density of 145 inhabitants per km2. The municipality consists of the following districts: Bodegnée, Chapon-Seraing, Seraing-le-Château and Verlaine.

Villers-le-Bouillet (French pronunciation: ​[vilɛʁs lə bujɛ]; Walloon: Viyé-l'-Boulet) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium. On January 1, 2006, Villers-le-Bouillet had a total population of 6,051. The total area is 32.71 km2 (12.63 sq mi) which gives a population density of 185 inhabitants/km2 (480 inhabitants/sq mi). The municipality consists of the following districts: Fize-Fontaine, Vaux-et-Borset, Vieux-Waleffe, Villers-le-Bouillet, and Warnant-Dreye. In 1982–1988, it was the first Belgian municipality with a Black alderman (échevin), Donat Ajanohun, born in Benin in 1948.

Heers (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦeːrs] , Limburgish: Hiër [ˈɦiəʀ]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg.

The Hesbaye (French, French pronunciation: [ɛsbɛ]), or Haspengouw (Dutch and Limburgish, Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦɑspə(ŋ)ˌɣʌu]), is a traditional cultural and geophysical region in eastern Belgium. It is a loamy plateau region which forms a watershed between the Meuse and Scheldt drainage basins. It has been one of the main agricultural regions in what is now Belgium since before Roman times, and specifically named in records since the Middle Ages, when it was an important Frankish pagus or gau, called Hasbania in medieval Latin.

Heers Castle (Dutch: Kasteel van Heers) is a castle in Heers, Province of Limburg, Belgium. It was built in the 13th century. Of its many owners, among the most notorious was Raes van Heers (1418–77), who was defeated and driven into exile by Charles the Bold at the Battle of Brustem in 1467. The castle, and the town of Heers, were laid waste by Charles's troops, although the castle was eventually repaired after Raes' death by his widow. The family de Rivière d'Arschot lived here until the 18th century, when Barbara, daughter and heiress of the last Count, Henri de Rivière d'Arschot, became abbess of Herkenrode Abbey; on her death in 1744, the family became extinct. The castle has now (2010) again fallen into a derelict state.

Yerne is a river of Belgium. It flows for 15.5 kilometres (9.6 mi) through the province of Liège in the northern-central part of the country.
