Waleffe Castle is a castle in Belgium.

Geer (French pronunciation: [ʒɛʁ]; Walloon: Djer) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium. On January 1, 2006, Geer had a total population of 2,854. The total area is 23.62 km² which gives a population density of 121 inhabitants per km². Geer lies along the upper course of the river Jeker, which is called Geer in French. The municipality consists of the following districts: Boëlhe, Darion, Geer, Hollogne-sur-Geer, Lens-Saint-Servais, Ligney, and Omal.

Château de Fallais (Fallais Castle) is a castle originating in the 11th century in the ancienne commune of Fallais, municipality of Braives, Liège Province, Wallonia, Belgium. The castle was built in the 13th Century by the Beaufort family. Twice the lords were involved in armed conflicts with the Prince-Bishopric of Liège. The first conflict was the so-called war of cows in the period of 1275–1278, fought between Guy I, Count of Namur, and John of Enghien, Prince-Bishop of Liege. In 1458 Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy, made his 18-year-old nephew, Louis de Bourbon, the Prince-Bishop of Liege. When Louis finished his studies and took on his duties in 1465, the First Liège War broke out when Louis was deposed by the citizens of the city of Liège. In October 1465, Louis met with his cousin, Charles the Bold (future Duke of Burgundy) at Château de Fallais. Charles then led the Burgundians to the Battle of Montenaken, where they routed the Liégeoise, suppressing the rebellion and ensuring the loss of autonomy of Liège until 1477.

Braives (French pronunciation: ​[bʁɛv]; Walloon: Braive) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium. On January 1, 2006, Braives had a total population of 5,579. The total area is 44.00 km² which gives a population density of 127 inhabitants per km².The municipality consists of the following districts: Avennes, Braives, Ciplet, Fallais, Fumal, Latinne, Tourinne, and Ville-en-Hesbaye. There are also three hamlets: Hosdent in Latinne, Pitet in Fallais, and Foncourt in Fumal. Fallais is famous for its medieval castle and other tourist attractions including a water mill, a former wheelmakershop, the river Méhaigne and the Ravel cycling path.

Warnant-Dreye (Walloon: Wernant) is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Villers-le-Bouillet, located in the province of Liège, Belgium. Its post code is 4530. It should not be confused with the Warnant located in the province of Namur.

Faimes (French pronunciation: ​[fɛm]; Walloon: Faime) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium. On January 1, 2006, Faimes had a total population of 3,468. The total area is 28.48 km2 (11.00 sq mi) which gives a population density of 122 inhabitants per km². The municipality consists of the following districts: Aineffe, Borlez, Celles, Les Waleffes, and Viemme. The eponymous Faimes is a hamlet within Celles.

Hasselbroek Castle (Dutch: Kasteel van Hasselbroek), also Hasselbrouck Castle (French: Château de Hasselbrouck) is a 17th-century country house in Hasselbroek, in Jeuk, a part of the municipality of Gingelom, province of Limburg, Belgium. The building was constructed in a U-shape. The right wing in Maasland Renaissance style dates from 1620. Architect Jacques Barthelemy Renoz, born in Liège (1729–1786) built the neoclassical wing main building in 1770. The left wing was for the use of dependencies. The castle was built by the Bormans van Hasselbroek family. Jean-Henri Bormans of Hasselblad Broek (1706–1774) undertook a variety of expansions and improvements. He was personal advisor to Prince-Bishop Franciscus Karel de Velbrück. Architect Jacques Barthelemy Renoz, born in Liège (1729–1786) built the neoclassical wing in 1770.

Burdinale is a river of Belgium, tributary of the Mehaigne. It flows through the province of Liège in the eastern part of the country.

Villers-le-Bouillet (French pronunciation: ​[vilɛʁs lə bujɛ]; Walloon: Viyé-l'-Boulet) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium. On January 1, 2006, Villers-le-Bouillet had a total population of 6,051. The total area is 32.71 km2 (12.63 sq mi) which gives a population density of 185 inhabitants/km2 (480 inhabitants/sq mi). The municipality consists of the following districts: Fize-Fontaine, Vaux-et-Borset, Vieux-Waleffe, Villers-le-Bouillet, and Warnant-Dreye. In 1982–1988, it was the first Belgian municipality with a Black alderman (échevin), Donat Ajanohun, born in Benin in 1948.

The Battle of Steppes was fought in modern-day Belgium on 13 October 1213 between Hugh Pierrepont, Bishop of Liège, and Henry I, Duke of Brabant.

The Battle of Montenaken was fought between the forces of Liège and the Burgundian State on 20 October 1465 as part of the First Liège War. Although outnumbered, the Burgundian force succeeded in routing the militia of Liège, inflicting heavy casualties.

Limont Castle (French: Donjon de Limont) is a 13th-century keep (donjon) in the ancienne commune of Limont, in the municipality of Donceel, Liège Province, Wallonia, Belgium. The keep, which served as the fortified residence for Robert de Limont, the first lord of the area, included a front entry raised to the second level (see image) to provide an extra security precaution in case of attack. Limont Castle is not directly associated with the Château de Limont, built in the 18th century roughly 850 metres (930 yd) northwest of the fortified tower, on land that was part of the estate.
