The Museu Rodin Bahia was a museum devoted to the works of Auguste Rodin, in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. In 2023, the museum was replaced by the Museum of Contemporary Art of Bahia.

Posh residential district Vitória centers on Sete Setembro Avenue, lined with giant mango trees and luxury condos overlooking the bay. Mansions-turned-museums on the avenue include Museu de Arte de Bahia, with its regional paintings and sculpture, and Carlos Costa Pinto Museum, which exhibits jewelry, furnishings, and art from colonial times. Concerts in the courtyard are among the draws at the Goethe Institute. It is located in the southern zone of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.

The Federal University of Bahia (Portuguese: Universidade Federal da Bahia, UFBA) is a public university located mainly in the city of Salvador. It is the largest university in the state of Bahia and one of Brazil's most prestigious educational institutions. Students can study there without paying tuition fees, as it is a public university. To join the university they must pass an annual examination, known as the "ENEM" (National High School Exam).

The British Cemetery of Bahia (Portuguese: Cemitério dos Ingleses da Bahia) is a burial ground located in Salvador, the capital and largest city in the Brazilian state of Bahia. Its history dates back to the Navigation and Trade Treaty, also known as the Strangford Treaty, signed by the Kingdom of Portugal and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland in 1810. The treaty permitted the establishment of churches of the Church of England in Brazil, then a colony of Portugal. Built in 1814 and located in Avenida Sete de Setembro, more specifically Ladeira da Barra, it is the principal heritage site of the British community in Bahia. The British Cemetery was declared a state heritage site by the Institute of Artistic and Cultural Heritage of Bahia (IPAC) in 1993.

Antonio Vieira College is a private Catholic primary and secondary school located in Salvador, Brazil. Founded by the Society of Jesus in 1911, the school has about 5,000 students enrolled in grades one through eleven, and also gives night classes for youth and adults.

The Anglican Chapel of Salvador was an Anglican church located in Salvador, capital of the Brazilian state of Bahia. First subject to the Church of England and then to the Anglican Episcopal Church of Brazil, the chapel was demolished in 1975 to make room for the Britânia Mansion residential building.

Its courses go from pre-school to highschool, which in the Brazilian educational system is usually identified with ages from 4 to 17. Colégio 2 de Julho was founded in 1927 as the Escola Americana or American School; in 1938, its name was finally changed to 2 de Julho. The school is named after the independence date of the Brazilian state of Bahia.

Barra is one of the most traditional neighborhoods of the city, and is also one of the most popular neighborhoods for tourists, with many attractions, like Farol da Barra Lighthouse, Morro do Cristo Hill, Farol da Barra Beach, and Porto da Barra Beach. Barra has a large number of beaches, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, residences, fitness clubs, banks, parks, events, and historic monuments. The neighborhood is subdivided in the following areas: Jardim Brasil, Porto da Barra, Avenida Centenário, and Ladeira da Barra. The beach neighborhood closest to Pelourinho, which also has a lot of tourist infrastructure. It is bathed by the Atlantic Ocean to the south and the entrance to the All Saints Bay to the west. And in preserving its landscape a considerable body of historical and architectural value to Brazil, and the Lighthouse is the most famous icon, alongside the strengths of St. Mary and St. Diogo. The district is home of the renowned Portuguese Hospital ("Hospital Português") and the Spanish Hospital ("Hospital Espanhol"), both founded by these two countries in the city. Shopping Barra mall is the main and largest shopping center of the developed south zone of Salvador. Besides being a neighborhood with many hotels and apartments to rent, especially during Brazilian carnival. Language institutes, such as, Alliance française (French) and Instituto Cervantes (Spanish), have branches in Barra. Also the neighborhood is famous nationally and internationally for its Carnival and New Year's Eve.

Center for Studies and Social Action (CEAS) was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1967 and works to diminish poverty and social exclusion] in the Northeast Region, Brazil. It lends its assistance to urban and rural groups and produces a journal.
