Meadowlands is a suburban neighbourhood in Hamilton, Ontario, in Ancaster. Its boundaries can be defined as Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway & Highway 403 on the north, Garner Road on the south, Stone Church Road on the east, and Southcote Road on the west. The name of the neighbourhood is an inspiration of the developer, who took it from the Meadowlands Arena in New Jersey after driving past the venue.Meadowlands is both one of the wealthiest, and one of the most ethnically diverse neighbourhoods within Hamilton.

Hamilton District Christian High is an independent Christian day school in Ancaster, Ontario Canada. As a registered private school with the Ontario Ministry of Education the school provides a curriculum that follows Ministry guidelines and standards through a Christ-centred, project-based learning approach. The academic program runs from grade 9 to grade 12.

Hamilton Golf and Country Club is located in Ancaster, Ontario. The club began in 1894. Renowned English golf architect Harry Colt designed 18 of the current 27 holes in 1914, with Canadian golf architect Robbie Robinson adding a third nine in 1974. The course has a short course and a driving range. The club has hosted six Canadian Opens, the last being in June 2019. The course was lengthened and renovated in the late 1990s, in preparation for the recent Opens. The current Chedoke Golf Club, now a municipal course, was the second location of the Hamilton Golf and Country Club, with the original being on the corner of Barton and Ottawa streets. Hamilton Golf and Country Club has been long regarded as one of the top golf courses in Canada, currently ranking second on Canada's list of best golf courses by ScoreGolf magazine and recently number 98 in Golf Digest's Top 100 Courses in the World. St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School is a Catholic secondary school located in Hamilton. It is a part of the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board and is located on the west side of the Hamilton Mountain. It serves the south-west of Hamilton as well as parts of Glanbrook and Ancaster. It is the largest school in Hamilton, holding over 2,250 students and graduates approximately 400 students each year, with around 90% of them going pursuing post-secondary education. The school's 200 member staff are involved in numerous activities, sports and associations.

Glanbrook is the south-western district of the city of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. It was first created as an independent township in 1974 through the amalgamation of Mount Hope, Binbrook, Glanford, and other nearby communities. In 2001, Glanbrook became a dissolved municipality after it was amalgamated with Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Dundas, Ancaster and Flamborough to become the present city of Hamilton. The population of Glanbrook as of the 2006 census was 15,293, a 25% increase from the 2001 census figure of 12,145, and making it the fastest growing part of Hamilton. It contains the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport.

Sir Allan MacNab Secondary School is located at 145 Magnolia Drive in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and is a member of the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board. Sir Allan MacNab Secondary School opened in 1969 and as of January 2016 has 873 students. The school was founded in 1969 and is named for Sir Allan MacNab, the last Premier of Upper Canada before Confederation and a resident, lawyer and politician in Hamilton from 1826 until his death in 1826 at his home, Dundurn Castle. Located on the west mountain of Hamilton, the school catchment area extends into Glanbrook and Ancaster.

John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (IATA: YHM, ICAO: CYHM) is an international airport in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The airport is part of the neighbourhood of Mount Hope, 6 nautical miles (11 km; 6.9 mi) southwest of Downtown Hamilton and 64 km (40 mi) southwest of Toronto. The airport serves the city of Hamilton and adjacent areas of Southern Ontario, including the Greater Toronto Area. It is considered as a reliever for Toronto Pearson International Airport. The airport is named after John Carr Munro, a longtime Member of Parliament for the electoral riding of Hamilton East. The airport opened in 1940 as Mount Hope Airport, which was primarily a Royal Canadian Air Force base, the history of which is reflected at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum located next to the airport. The end of World War II saw the closure of the base, and its conversion to civil use attracted regional and international passenger services with connections to major Canadian cities and seasonal destinations in the United States, the Caribbean and Mexico. Regular services to the United States declined as nearby Buffalo Niagara International Airport gained popularity for cross-border travellers in the region, but Hamilton remained an important base for a number of domestic low-cost carriers. The airport is the third largest cargo airport (after Toronto–Pearson and Vancouver) and the "largest overnight express cargo airport" in Canada. Hamilton includes a 10,006 ft × 200 ft (3,050 m × 61 m) asphalt runway with centreline lighting for low-visibility operations and a smaller 6,010 ft × 150 ft (1,832 m × 46 m) asphalt runway, enough to handle large cargo operations with aircraft such as the Boeing 747 or Antonov An-124.

RCAF Station Hamilton was an air force base of the Royal Canadian Air Force located in Mount Hope, Ontario, Canada, 15 mi (24 km) south of Hamilton.

Chedoke Twin Pad Arena is a city-owned recreation complex in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. It includes two ice rinks, as well as meeting rooms. It is also the home of the Chedoke Minor Hockey League, the Hamilton Huskies Associations, and Hamilton Sledge Hockey.

Ancaster Senior Public School (commonly known as ASPS) is a middle school in Ancaster, Ontario, Canada, and is part of the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board. The school was founded in 1968 and had an enrollment as of September 2010 of 280 students.
