The Open University of Catalonia (Catalan: Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, UOC; IPA: [uniβəɾsiˈtat uˈβɛɾtə ðə kətəˈluɲə]) is a private open university based in Barcelona, Spain. The UOC offers graduate and postgraduate programs in Catalan, Spanish and English in fields such as Psychology, Computer Science, Sciences of Education, Information and Knowledge Society, and Economics. Also, an Information and Knowledge Society Doctoral Program is available that explores research fields such as e-law, e-learning, network society, education, and online communities. It has support centers in a number of cities in Spain, Andorra, Mexico and Colombia.The UOC is also a parent institution of Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI).

The Tramvia Blau (Catalan for "blue tramway") is one of Barcelona's three tram systems. It is a 1.276 kilometres (0.793 mi) long heritage streetcar line serving a hilly area of the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district between the terminus of FGC Barcelona Metro L7 and the Funicular del Tibidabo.The Tramvia Blau is operated by Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) but it is not part of Autoritat del Transport Metropolità (ATM) integrated fare network. Tickets must be purchased from the tram conductor.The Tramvia Blau is one of only two first generation tramways to survive in Spain, along with the Tranvía de Sóller on the island of Majorca.The Tibidabo tramway has been closed for reconstruction since Spring 2018.

The Fabra Observatory (Catalan: Observatori Fabra, IPA: [upsəɾβəˈtɔɾi ˈfaβɾə]; obs. code: 006) is an astronomical observatory located in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain pointed towards the south at 415 metres above sea level (latitude: 41,4184° N; longitude: 2,1239° E). It was established in 1904 and belongs to the Royal Academy of Science and Arts of Barcelona (Catalan: Reial Acadèmia de Ciències i Arts de Barcelona). Its main activity is the study of asteroids and comets. It is the fourth oldest observatory in the world that is still functioning. It is where the comet 32P/Comas Solà was discovered by Josep Comas Solà.

Abat Oliba CEU University (official name: Universitat Abat Oliba CEU; UAO CEU) is a private university located in Barcelona, Spain. It was founded in 1973 as the Abat Oliba College. In 2003, the Parliament of Catalonia approved its conversion to Abat Oliba CEU University. The university adopts the name of Abbot Oliba, Count of Berga and Ripoll, bishop of Vic, and founder of Montserrat because "aimed at making its spirit who established a thousand years the foundations of emerging Catalonia based on Roman and Christian culture".It is named after Abbot Oliba, a key figure in the repopulation of Catalonia based on Roman and Christian culture, and political pacifism, whose assemblies of Peace and Truce of God laid the groundwork for one of the first parliaments in Europe. It is one of the three Spanish universities belonging to the Centro de Estudios Universitarios CEU educational group. It belongs to the Catholic Association of Propagandists, an institution created in 1908 by the Jesuit priest Ángel Ayala. The main campus of the UAO CEU is the Bellesguard Campus, in the district of Sarrià-Sant Gervasi. The architect Miquel Àngel Armengou, based in Barcelona, designed and built the university around the church at its centre

Bellesguard (Catalan pronunciation: [ˌbeʎəzˈɣwaɾt], "Beautiful View"), also known as Casa Figueres, is a modernist manor house designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, which was constructed between 1900 and 1909. It is located at the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain. The ground on which Bellesguard stands had been the site of a country residence belonging to Martin, king of Aragon and count of Barcelona. Gaudí was assisted by Joan Rubio whilst Domènec Sugrañes i Gras created the various mosaics that adorn the house.

Avinguda Tibidabo is a station of the Barcelona Metro and is the terminus of FGC-operated line L7 (also known as Línia de Balmes). The station is situated under Carrer de Balmes at Plaça de John F. Kennedy, the former street's junction with the Avinguda Tibidabo and Passeig de Sant Gervasi.The station was opened in 1954, along with the rest of the branch from the junction at Gràcia station. It has a single terminal track, which ends at a buffer within the station. Just outside the Gràcia end of the station, this track diverges into the twin running tracks of the L7. The terminal track is flanked on both sides by 66 metres (217 ft) long platforms, which can accommodate a three car train.A concourse at the terminal end of the station is linked by four lifts or a long stairway to a subsurface ticket hall under Plaça de John F. Kennedy. This has a single entrance, in the centre of the square. Here connection is made with the historic Tramvia Blau, which provides a link to the Funicular del Tibidabo and hence Tibidabo itself. Several bus routes also serve the station.

Sant Gervasi Cemetery founded in 1853, is located in the district of Sarrià-Sant Gervasi in Barcelona, Spain. With an extension of 12,229 m², the area divided into two parts by a staircase leading to the cemetery chapel. It includes 4773 plots. Numerous sculptures and ornaments, mainly in the style of eclecticism, decorate the tombs.

Penitents is a Barcelona Metro station, named after the Vallcarca i els Penitents neighbourhood, in the Gràcia district of Barcelona.The station is served by line L3.The station opened in 1985, when the section of line L3 between Lesseps and Montbau stations was opened.The station is located underneath Avinguda de Vallcarca (formerly known as the Avinguda de l'Hospital Militar), between Carrer del Gòlgota, Barcelona and Carrer d'Anna Piferrer, and can be accessed from entrances in the former and the latter, leading to a single ticket hall. It has twin side platforms that are 96 metres (315 ft) long.

Sant Gervasi – la Bonanova is a neighbourhood in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). Formerly it was with the neighbourhood of Sant Gervasi - Galvany, an independent municipality called Sant Gervasi de Cassoles. The neighbourhood is divided mainly into two distinct sectors: the area of Sant Gervasi, where it houses the oldest nucleus of the town of Sant Gervasi de Cassoles, and another sector, that of la Bonanova, born when it was built the road connecting Sarrià with Sant Gervasi. The maternelle (preschool) campus of the Lycée Français de Barcelone, the French international school of Barcelona, is in Bonanova.
