Corpus Christi Church, Zagreb (Croatian: Župna crkva Tijela Kristova u Zagrebu) is a Catholic parish church located in the neighbourhood Sopot of Zagreb, Croatia.

Novi Zagreb – istok (Croatian pronunciation: [nôʋiː zǎːgreb ǐstok], "New Zagreb – east") is a district in Zagreb, Croatia. Within this district in the neighborhood of Travno lies Mamutica, which was built to be the largest communal housing block in southeast Europe. Mamutica towers above other blocks of flats so that the impression is given that it must be on a hill even though the entire area is a flat plain. In the north of Novi Zagreb, just south of the river Sava, is lake Bundek. Though originally a gravel pit, nature has reclaimed it and it is now an area of woods, brushwood and ponds. In the year 2006, lake Bundek was hastily decorated; it now has a beach and some amusing accessories. Novi Zagreb-istok has the status of a city district (gradska četvrt) and as such has an elected council. Novi Zagreb-istok had 59,055 residents during the 2011 census.

Mamutica (English: Female mammoth) is the largest building (by volume) in Zagreb and Croatia, as well as one of the largest apartment blocks in Europe. This apartment complex was built by Industrogradnja in 1974, and designed by prof. Đure Mirković and Nevenka Postružnik. Located in Eastern Novi Zagreb, in the neighborhood of Travno. It is the Croatian version of the panelák or plattenbau. The building is about 240 m long, 60 m high and has 19 populated floors. There are 1,169 apartments in the building, home to about 5,000 people. The building has 6 entrances (big Mamutica) and 3 entrances (small Mamutica). As part of Mamutica, there are 256 garages and 24 outlets at plateau level.Mamutica is also the name of a crime TV series broadcast by Croatian Radiotelevision since 2008 (two seasons as of 2010), focusing on police cases being solved in and around the building.The estimated value of the building (from 2010) is about 135 million EUR.Only two buildings in Zagreb can withstand the strongest earthquake, Mamutica and Super Andrija.Because there is one of the most massive aggregates inside the building, in the event of a war, Mamutica was planned to be turned into a hospital.

Bundek is a lake in the Novi Zagreb - istok city district of Zagreb, Croatia. It is located north of the Zapruđe and Središće neighborhoods. Bundek was renovated during 2005 to turn a badly maintained lake into a tourism and events center of Novi Zagreb.

Zapruđe is a neighbourhood in Zagreb, in the Novi Zagreb East District just south of Sava River near the Youth Bridge. The Zapruđe local committee had a population of 6,184 at the 2011 census.As of 2012, the district consists mostly of residential high-rises, but it also has several chain stores, a butcher, a post office, a bank, a school, a kindergarten, a library, a community hall, a health center, and a pharmacy.It has its own festivals and traditions, such as the Zapruđe Festival, and a soccer team, NK Zapruđe. The neighborhood can be accessed via the Zagreb Tramway routes 6, 7, 8, and 14, and bus routes 109, 219, 220, 222, 229, and the Pleso Prijevoz airport shuttle.
