Santa Coloma (Barcelona Metro)

Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈsantə kuˈlomə ðə ɣɾəməˈnɛt]) informally simply known as Santa Coloma (in Spanish: Santa Coloma de Gramanet, historically also known as Gramenet de Besòs) is a municipality in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the south-east side of the Litoral range, with the Puig Castellar (299 m) as its highest point, on the left bank of the Besòs river: the municipalities of Sant Adrià de Besòs and Badalona separate it from the coast. It's the ninth most populated city in Catalonia. The area has been inhabited since at least the Iberic period, and the remains of an Iberic village have been found on Puig Castellar. The artefacts are housed in a museum in La Torre Balldovina, a building dating from the 18th century. Other notable buildings include the renaissance palace of La Torre Pallaresa and the noucentista Clínica Mental. In November 2008, the city made worldwide news by installing solar panels on top of crypts in the local cemetery, in an effort to help fight climate change.

The Balldovina Tower Museum (Catalan: Museu Torre Balldovina) of Santa Coloma de Gramenet in Catalonia, Spain, is a local pluridisciplinary museum, the aim of which is to protect, conserve, study and disseminate the cultural and natural heritage of the territory. The museum, which is part of the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network, looks after its own collections as well as the monumental heritage of the town of Santa Coloma.

Església Major is a Barcelona Metro station in the municipality of Santa Coloma de Gramenet, in the northern part of the metropolitan area of Barcelona underneath Plaça dels Enamorats. The station is named after the town's main church, located in Plaça de l'Església. It's served by L9 and is one of the stations comprising the first part of Line 9 to be opened, between Can Zam and Can Peixauet, inaugurated on 13 December 2009. Sanchez-Piulachs, Arquitectes S.L were in charge of the design of Església Major.

Can Peixauet is the name of a Barcelona Metro line 9 station named after Avinguda de Can Peixauet, situated in Santa Coloma de Gramenet municipality. The station was opened in December 2009 with the opening of the line from Can Zam to this station. It is located under Avinguda de Can Peixauet and Avinguda de Santa Coloma, and it was built like many other new L9 metro stations with a 40-metres-depth and 25-metres-diameter well. The station is divided in four levels: the upper hall, the pre-platform, the upper platform and the lower platform. The upper hall has an only access from the street equipped with escalators and elevators. The upper hall has also ticket vending machines and a TMB Control Center. The upper platform is where run the trains in direction to La Sagrera and the lower platform is where run the trains in direction to Can Zam station. The architectural design of the station was designed by Sanchez-Piulachs Architects.

Baró de Viver is a neighborhood in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain).

Baró de Viver is a station of the Barcelona Metro, in the Baró de Viver area of Sant Andreu, a northern district of Barcelona. It is operated by Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) and served by L1 (red line). The station opened in 1983 as the line grew from its terminus in Torras i Bages towards the municipality of Santa Coloma de Gramenet. It is located under the southern side of the busy Nus de la Trinitat, next to the Besòs river bank.

Singuerlín is the name of a Barcelona Metro station in the municipality of Santa Coloma de Gramenet, in the neighbourhood of Singuerlín, located in the northern part of the metropolitan area of Barcelona. It's served by L9, the first part of Line 9 to be opened, between Can Zam and Can Peixauet.

Santa Rosa is a Barcelona Metro station in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, a suburb of Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain). It's served by L9 (orange line). The station opened in September 2011 in a previously built line section between Fondo and Can Peixauet. Its only entrance is in Avinguda dels Banús at the intersection with Carrer d'Irlanda. Its platforms are 108 metres long and located 44 m. under the street level. The area around the station underwent a refurbishment including a new square.

Fondo is a Barcelona Metro station in the municipality of Santa Coloma de Gramenet, in the northern part of the metropolitan area of Barcelona. It is served by two metro lines, L1 (red line), of which it is the northern terminus, and L9 (orange line). It was built in 1992 under Camí Fondo de Badalona, in the neighbourhood of Fondo (hence the name), between Carrer Dalmau and Carrer Verdi. It began to serve L9 (orange line) on 13 December 2009, providing a transfer to the first part of Line 9 that was opened, which initially ran between Can Zam and Can Peixauet.

Can Zam is a Barcelona Metro station in the municipality of Santa Coloma de Gramenet, in the northern part of the metropolitan area of Barcelona. The station is located at the intersection of Avinguda Francesc Macià and Carrer Balmes. It's served by L9, the first part of line 9 to be opened, between Can Zam and Can Peixauet, both in Santa Coloma. Its inauguration took place on 13 December 2009.

Llefià is a Barcelona Metro station named after the neighbourhood of the same name where the station is situated, near Llefià Market, in Badalona municipality. This neighbourhood is one of Badalona's with highest population density and built in a very uneven piece of land. The station was opened on 18 April 2010 with the opening of the line from Gorg to Bon Pastor. It is served by TMB-operated Barcelona Metro line L10.

Trinitat Vella is the name of a station in the Barcelona metro network, currently served by the TMB-operated L1. It's named after the neighbourhood Trinitat Vella, in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona, and the park of the same name. It is quite unusual in being one of the few stations with an attached building overground, which lies on the Nus de la Trinitat and links the neighbourhood with Parc de la Trinitat. It was opened in 1983, when the line was extended from Torras i Bages towards Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Santa Coloma (Barcelona Metro)), and rebuilt in 1992. It can be accessed from Via Barcino and from the park.
