Withywood is a suburban neighbourhood of Bristol, England. It is situated on the southern border of the city, between Hartcliffe and Bishopsworth, just north of Dundry Hill. It is a large estate, begun in the 1950s. Withywood has a number of primary schools: Fair Furlong, Four Acres, Gay Elms and Merchants Academy. There is a secondary school, Merchants Academy, which opened in November 2008, before the demolition of the former Withywood Community School. All of the schools have sports fields and grounds. They have also been a registered charity since 1996. Queen's Road has a number of shops and the Amelia Nutt Health Clinic at the Withywood Centre. Four Acres road also has shops directly opposite Sherrin Way bus terminus (the end of the journey) next to 'The Rusham' retirement homes. It has a pub, from Elm Tree. Between Sherrin Way and The Coppice, runs the River Malago. This disappears into a culvert where the stream meets Four Acres. A big regeneration program is taking place around the area, new apartments on Hengrove Way and further development of The Junction shopping complex, and a proposal of a swimming pool and leisure complex alongside Cineworld, all within walking distance of Withywood. The Dundry View Neighbourhood Partnership works with residents in Bedminster Down, Bishopsworth, Hartcliffe, Headley Park, Highridge, Teyfant, Uplands, Whitchurch Park and Withywood. For elections to Bristol City Council, the area is part of Hartcliffe and Withywood electoral ward.

Lakeshore is a development of flats in the Bishopsworth area of south Bristol, England. It is a Grade II listed building. The building uses a structure of Cor-Ten Steel which is left from the headquarters building of Imperial Tobacco which was built in the 1960s. The tobacco factory and offices closed by 1990 and partially demolished, before being given listed status and then left for ten years. The surrounding factory has been demolished and is now the site of a shopping centre. The new development of 422 homes and its surrounding landscapes grounds and facilities has been built in a sustainable way, including the use of geothermal energy. The development has won prizes for design and environmentally friendly approach.

Hartcliffe is the name of both a council ward and an Outer Suburb of the city of Bristol in the United Kingdom which lies within that ward. The ward contains the areas of Hartcliffe and Headley Park, as well as small portions of Withywood and Bishopsworth. Hartcliffe is a post-World War II suburban development, consisting largely of council houses. It is one of the poorer areas of Bristol, with significant social problems exacerbated by the decline of industrial employment in the city. Regeneration efforts are underway.

Bedminster Down is a suburban neighbourhood of Bristol, England, built largely in the 1930s. It extends from Bedminster to Ashton, Bishopsworth, Highridge and Uplands, and is a largely residential area. Bedminster Down is a middle-class area and some of the area is built over disused coal mines. The Parish Church, built in 1927, is dedicated to St Oswald. The Methodist church in the area shut down in August 2008. The Methodist church consisted of two buildings, the main chapel and a church hall. The main chapel is currently in use as a community arts centre.

East Dundry is a south-facing hamlet some 160 metres above sea level in a sheltered valley of Dundry Hill just south of Bristol, England. The hamlet is in the parish of Dundry and about two kilometres east of its village church. The iron-age Maes Knoll tump (2.5 kilometres to the east) and tumuli (in the field just north-east of North Hill Farm) are evidence of long occupation of the valley.

The Holy Cross Inns Court Vicarage (grid reference ST587691) is in the Knowle West area of Bristol, England. It was built in the 15th century. The surviving fragment, a stair turret, comes from what was once a much larger house, which was probably built for the lawyer Sir John Innys, who died in 1439. The 15th century remains are designated by Historic England as a grade II* listed building. The stair turret is on the Buildings at Risk Register and described as being in fair condition, suffering slow decay.

Hengrove is a suburb and council ward of Bristol, England, situated between Whitchurch, Knowle and Bishopsworth, running along both dual carriageways, Wells Road (A37) and Airport Road (A4174). The area of Knowle it adjoins is known as Knowle West. The residential parts of Hengrove consist mainly of working to middle class terrace houses. There are also infant, primary and secondary schools in the area. It is served by buses and, since 2019, MetroBus rapid transit services. Hengrove holds the long-disused Whitchurch Airport, which has mostly been redeveloped with a hospital and leisure facilities now situated on parts of the former airfield.
