Andrésy

The Oise ( WAHZ; French: [waz] ) is a river of Belgium and France, flowing for 341 km (212 mi) from its source in the Belgian province of Hainaut, south of Chimay. It crosses the border with France after about 20 km (12 mi). It flows into the Seine at Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, a north-western suburb of Paris. Its main tributary is the Aisne. It gave its name to the French departments of Oise and Val-d'Oise.

Conflans–Fin d'Oise is a railway station serving Conflans-Sainte-Honorine. It is a two-level station situated on the lines from Saint-Lazare to Cergy-le-Haut and from Saint-Lazare to Mantes-la-Jolie via Conflans-Sainte-Honorine. The lower station (RER A and Transilien L) of Conflans-Fin-d'Oise welcomed nearly 9,500 passengers per day in 2009. In 2012, 1860 passengers took the train to the train station (Transilien J) every week.

Achères (French pronunciation: [aʃɛʁ] ) is a commune in the Yvelines department in north-central France. It is located 23.7 km (14.7 mi) from the centre of Paris. The commune of Achères lies on the south bank of the Seine in a loop of the river, on the edge of the Forest of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. It borders Saint-Germain-en-Laye and Poissy on the south, Andrésy and Carrières-sous-Poissy on the west, Conflans-Sainte-Honorine and Herblay on the north, and Maisons-Laffitte and La Frette-sur-Seine on the east. Inhabitants of Achères are called Achérois.

Chanteloup-les-Vignes (French pronunciation: [ʃɑ̃tlu le viɲ]) is a commune and town in the Yvelines department, Île-de-France, north central France. The town was used for a large part of the film La Haine.

Neuville-sur-Oise (French pronunciation: [nøvil syʁ waz] ) is a commune in the Val-d'Oise department, in the northwest suburbs of Paris, France. It is located in the "new town" of Cergy-Pontoise, created in the 1960s. Neuville-sur-Oise is a rather anonymous village between Jouy-le-Moutier and Cergy inside the last meander of the river Oise. Forty years after the creation of Cergy-Pontoise, the village has retained its bucolic atmosphere and there has been little construction of large scale residential developments. In the 17th century, Charles de la Grange unites the villages of Ham (Cergy), the Sergentery of Neuville-sur-Oise and the Barony of Conflans. The Baron of Conflans, councillor to the king, Lord of Neuville and Ham built the castle of Neuville. In 1995 was opened the university of Cergy-Neuville on the site of an old cottage near the D203, a station was also built to serve both the village and the university.

Jouy-le-Moutier (French pronunciation: [ʒwi lə mutje] ) is a commune in the Val-d'Oise department, in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 28.4 km (17.6 mi) from the center of Paris, in the "new town" of Cergy-Pontoise, created in the 1960s.

The canton of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine is an administrative division of the Yvelines department, northern France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Carrières-sous-Poissy (French: [kaʁjɛʁ su pwasi] ) is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. The town sits on the bank of the Seine River, directly opposite the commune of Poissy. Notable landmarks in Carrières-sous-Poissy include the Château Champfleury, the Château Vanderbilt and St. Joseph's Church.

The Stellantis Poissy plant is a French car plant belonging to Stellantis located in Poissy, Yvelines. It is dedicated to the manufacturer's Platform 1 cars, which are cars in the subcompact class, with an annual output of approximately 200,000 cars. In 2010, the plant produced the Peugeot 207, the Peugeot 207 SW and the Citroën DS3. Together with the PSA Research Centres at Carrières-sous-Poissy and at Vélizy, it is one of three major establishments that PSA runs in the department. The Poissy plant was commissioned by Ford France in 1937 and opened in 1940 a few weeks before the German invasion. When, in 1954, Ford sold their business to Simca, the Poissy plant was naturally included in the deal, and less than ten years later Simca closed their existing plant at Nanterre, leaving Poissy as their only significant auto-production facility. Ownership passed again in 1963, this time to Chrysler who in that year acquired a controlling interest in Simca. Then in 1978 Peugeot acquired Chrysler's European business. Former Simca models were rebadged as Talbots and continued to be produced at the Poissy plant during the early 1980s. However, the mid-range hatchback that had been designed to sustain the Talbot brand was rebadged ahead of its 1985 launch as the Peugeot 309. That is the name under which it was sold, and since that time the plant has concentrated on the production of small Citroën and Peugeot badged models. In October 2010, the plant had 6,535 registered employees.
