Trequite is a hamlet in the parish of St Kew, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is half a mile east of St Kew. The farm at Trequite has a circular building attached known as the 'roundhouse'. This was a horse mill used when there was no water to power the water wheel. Despite its small size, there was a Methodist chapel in Trequite. Built in the late 1860s on land leased for the purpose by Lord Robartes, it closed in the first quarter of the 20th Century and was converted to residential use.

It is also the name of the civil parish (known in Cornish as Pluw Gew), which includes the church town, St Kew, and nearby St Kew Highway (Fordhveur). The parish is named for a Welsh saint, Cywa or Kew, possibly the sister of Docco, also known as: Docuin, Docwinn, Docquinn, who founded a monastery at or near the village of St Kew. The 15th-century church is now dedicated to St James.

Port Gaverne is a hamlet on the north coast of Cornwall, England, UK, about 0.5 miles (0.80 km) east of Port Isaac and part of St Endellion parish. Although it is a geographically discrete hamlet, some consider it as part of the larger village of Port Isaac located around the headland, upon which it relies for most services. Historically, Port Gaverne existed as a port for sand and slate from the local mine, and for the local fishing catch, particularly pilchards, and has little recorded history prior to the 19th century, when economic activity at the port was at its peak. In the 20th century these industries declined as railways supplanted transport by sea. The appearance of the hamlet has changed little in two centuries, with its stone and slate buildings recognised for their character and the rugged local coastline as a heritage coast. Nowadays the settlement relies almost entirely upon tourism. The parish has just over 1,000 residents, including a significant proportion of retired people, but the hamlet itself consists mostly of second homes and holiday lets. Along with Port Isaac it has become known as the filming location for ITV's Doc Martin television series.

In March 2015 the restaurant relocated to Port Isaac, Cornwall and retained its two Michelin stars upon review.

St Endellion (Cornish: Sen Endelyn) is a civil parish and hamlet in north Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The hamlet and parish church are situated four miles (6.5 km) north of Wadebridge.The parish takes its name from Saint Endelienta, who is said to have evangelised the district in the fifth century and to have been one of the children of King Brychan. Two wells near the church are named after her. The name is included in the electoral ward of St Minver and St Endellion, which includes Polzeath and Rock, with a population at the 2011 census of 3268.

Treburgett is a hamlet in the parish of St Teath, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. Treburgett Mine (grid reference SX055796) was a lead and silver mine about 1 km south-west of St Teath Churchtown. In 1881 it was reported, in The Cornishman newspaper, that the old mine was to be restarted, with 60,000 £1 shares. Between 1871 and 1881, 2,180 pounds (990 kg) of 75% lead ore and 9,530 ounces (270,000 g) of silver ore was extracted. Also mined was 44 tons of zinc ore, 120 tons of pyrite and 62 tons of iron ore, as well as carminate (a lead iron arsenic mineral), galena, lead sulphide, limonite, siderite (iron carbonate) and zinc sulphide.

Port Isaac Lifeboat Station (Cornish: Gorsav skath sawya Porthysek) sits at the head of the harbour on Middle Street in Port Isaac, a fishing village on the north-west coast of the county of Cornwall, England. A lifeboat station was established at Port Isaac by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in 1869, operating until 1933. An lifeboat station was re-established in 1967, with the placement of a D-class Inshore lifeboat. The station currently operates a D-class (IB1) Inshore lifeboat (ILB), Pride of Port Isaac (Goeth Porthusek) (D-843), on station since 2019.
