The HTBLVA Graz-Ortweinschule is a Höhere technische Bundeslehr- und Versuchsanstalt in the district Geidorf of the Austrian city Graz.

Lend (German pronunciation: [lɛnt] ) is the 4th district of the Austrian city of Graz. It is located on the west bank of the Mur and north of the district Gries and west of the district Innere Stadt and the Schloßberg. It has a population of 32,859 (in 2023) and covers an area of 3.7 square kilometres. The postal codes of Lend are 8020 and 8051.

The Helmut-List-Halle is a multi-purpose event and concert hall in Graz, Austria. Housed in a former 1950s industrial building originally erected for AVL List, it was adaptively remodelled in 2003 by architect Markus Pernthaler to provide adequate acoustics and accommodate up to 2,400 spectators. The complex comprises a foyer, main hall and backstage area, and features a 370 m² façade-integrated photovoltaic installation commissioned in January 2003. In 2023 an underground extension, Club Detroit, was added beneath the venue’s parking garage.

Geidorf (German: [ɡaɪ̯doʁf, ɡaɪ̯doɐ̯f]) is the 3rd district of the Austrian city of Graz. It is located north of the first two districts I. Innere Stadt and II. St. Leonhard. In the east it stretches as far as the Landeskrankenhaus Universitätsklinikum (provincial university hospital) and towards the west it borders the river Mur. As the main campus of the University of Graz is located in Geidorf, many students and professors live here. It had a population of 23,847 in January 2023 and covers an area of 5.5 square kilometres. Gösting (German: [ɡœstiŋ]; from Slavic gostinca = hostel, or gozd = mountain forest) is the 13th city district of Graz, in the Austrian province of Styria. It is situated in the north-west of the city between the river Mur and the Plabutsch mountain and the range north of it on which the ruined Gösting Castle is located.

On 10 June 2025, at 09:57 CEST, a mass shooting occurred at the Dreierschützengasse secondary school in Graz, Austria. The shooter killed 10 people and injured 11 others. The gunman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the school lavatory and was identified as a 21-year-old former student at the school.

Stattegg is a Village and a suburb of Graz, the capital of the Austrian state of Styria. It lies at the bottom of the Schoeckl, a mountain of the European Alps. Stattegg has 2982 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2021) and consists of 13 Katastralgemeinden: Buch, Eichberg, Hochgreit, Hohenberg, Hub, Kalkleiten, Krail, Leber, Mühl, Neudorf, Rannach, Steingraben, Ursprung.

The Schlossbergbahn, or Schloßbergbahn (English: Castle Hill Railway), is a funicular railway in the Austrian city of Graz. It connects the city centre with the Schloßberg, a hill and the site of a demolished fortress, with extensive views over the city.The Schlossbergbahn should not be confused with the Schlossberg lift, a vertical lift which links the Schloßberg with the tunnel system beneath the hill, and via that with the city centre.

The Schlossberg (German: Schloßberg, lit. 'Castle Mountain') is a tree-clad hill and the site of a fortress in the centre of the city of Graz, Austria. The hill, at 473 metres (1,552 ft) above sea level, is now a public park and affords extensive views of the city. It is the site of several entertainment venues, cafés, and restaurants, and is managed by Holding Graz, the city-owned utility company.

Graz Hauptbahnhof, abbreviated Graz Hbf (German for Graz Main Station; sometimes translated as Graz Central Station), is the main railway station in Graz, the capital of the Austrian federal state Styria. The station is located some 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) west of the city centre, to which it is connected by tram.The station serves as a major node on the Southern Railway, which links it to Vienna in the north, and Slovenia in the south. It is also the terminus of the Styrian Eastern railway line, which runs eastwards towards Hungary, and of the local Köflach railway line to the west. In the future, the Koralm Railway will provide a direct link from Graz to Italy via Klagenfurt.

The Murinsel (German, literally Mur island) in Graz, Austria, is an artificial floating "island" in the middle of the river Mur and links the two banks on both sides. At night the blue navigation lights that surround the structure light up. This landmark of Graz was designed by New York City artist Vito Acconci on the occasion of Graz becoming the 2003 European Capital of Culture.Described by the artist as "A bowl that morphs into a dome that morphs into a bowl…" Mur Island is in the form of a giant sea shell and measures 47 m (154 ft) in length. Two footbridges connect it with both banks of the Mur. The center of the platform forms an amphitheatre. Below a twisted round dome there is a café and a playground.

The Fairytale Express Graz is a 2 km (1.2 mi) long 600 mm (1 ft 11+5⁄8 in) gauge grotto railway in the tunnel of the Schloßberg (castle hill) in Graz. It starts in the tunnel at the lower level of the Schloßberg lift, which is accessible from Schloßbergplatz.
