Parking is available on the northeast side of the tracks north along 123rd Street. The station is little more than an enclosed sheltered platform, and is a flag stop. No bus connections are available.

115th Street–Morgan Park is one of two Metra railroad stations in the Morgan Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, along the Beverly Branch of the Rock Island District Line. It is 14.3 miles (23.0 km) from LaSalle Street Station, the northern terminus of the line. In Metra's zone-based fare system, 115th Street is in zone C. As of 2018, 115th Street–Morgan Park was the 176th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 136 weekday boardings.As of 2022, 115th Street–Morgan Park is served by 40 trains (20 in each direction) on weekdays, by 21 trains (10 inbound, 11 outbound) on Saturdays, and by 16 trains (eight in each direction) on Sundays and holidays. Parking is available along the west side of the tracks on South Hale Avenue between Edmaire Street and north of 116th Street. It is also available on small on-street lots along the north side of 115th Street between the tracks and Church Street. No bus connections are available. The train station building was damaged by a fire in May 2017 and subsequently demolished. Officials ruled that arson was the cause of the fire.

Morgan Park, located on the far south side of the city of Chicago, Illinois, United States, is one of the city's 77 official community areas. Morgan Park is located south of the Beverly neighborhood and north of the Chicago city border, and includes Mount Greenwood Cemetery. The community, settled in the mid-19th century, was initially known as North Blue Island, being located close to the existing town of Blue Island to the south. As of 2013, Morgan Park was majority-black, with approximately 22,924 residents in 2015.

Parking is available on both sides of the tracks at a dead end at Prairie Street, south of the Burr Oak Avenue Bridge, which also crosses the main line and the freight yards between the two lines, the Burr Oak Yard on the north side of the bridge and the Iowa Interstate Railroad-Chicago Rail Link. Though a station house exists it contains no agent, and the station is a flag stop. No bus connections are available.

Burr Oak is a commuter rail station along the Blue Island Branch of the Metra Electric line in Calumet Park, Illinois. The station is located on Burr Oak Avenue near Lincoln Street, and is 18.4 miles (29.6 km) away from the northern terminus at Millennium Station. In Metra's zone-based fare system, Burr Oak is in zone D. As of 2018, Burr Oak is the 193rd busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 89 weekday boardings. It borders the City of Blue Island. Parking is available behind the station on the southeast corner of Burr Oak Avenue and Winchester Street. One Pace bus connection is available at the station.

The Palliser's Cottage Home No. 35 is a Stick Style house at 2314 West 111th Place in the Morgan Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, United States. Plans for the house appeared in the pattern book of Palliser, Palliser & Co. in 1878 and this house was built in 1882 for Rev. Johan Edgren. It was designated a Chicago Landmark on February 16, 2000.

The station is named after 111th Street, although its address is 11046 South Hale Avenue between Monterey and Prospect Avenues; 111th Street runs in line with Monterey Avenue east of Morgan Park. In Metra's zone-based fare system, 111th Street is in zone C. As of 2018, 111th Street–Morgan Park is the 92nd busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 548 weekday boardings.As of 2022, 111th Street–Morgan Park is served by 40 trains (20 in each direction) on weekdays, by 21 trains (10 inbound, 11 outbound) on Saturdays, and by 16 trains (eight in each direction) on Sundays and holidays. Parking is available on both sides of the tracks along South Hale Avenue between 108th Place and Edmaire Street. It is also available on Homewood and Monterery Avenues behind South Hale Avenue, and at Prospect Park on Prospect Avenue and the northwest corner of Pryor and Homewood Avenues.

Morgan Park High School is a 4-year public high school and middle school located in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the far south side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. Opened in 1916, Morgan Park is a part of the Chicago Public Schools district. Morgan Park is located at the intersection of 111th Street and Vincennes Avenue.

The Iglehart House is an Italianate style house in the Morgan Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, United States, and one of the city's oldest surviving buildings. Located at 11118 S. Artesian Avenue, the original portion of the house in the back was built in 1857 by an unknown architect for Charles D. Iglehart, whose farmstead comprised the land now bounded by 111th, 115th, and Rockwell streets and Western Avenue. Iglehart's daughter Mary, who was born in the house in 1857, is the first child whose birth is recorded in what would become the village of Morgan Park. Iglehart was one of the founders of The Church of the Mediator, whose first building was built in 1889 at 110th and Hoyne Avenue on land that was donated for it by the Blue Island Land and Building Company. Due to the space required of a growing family, the two-story front portion of the house was added in the 1870s. It was designated a Chicago Landmark on July 13, 1994.

The Dr. Philip Weintraub House is an early modern single-family house in the Hollywood Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Located at 3252 W. Victoria Street, the home was built in 1940 by architect Andrew Nicholas Rebori (1886-1966) and artist Edgar Miller (1899-1993) for Philip Weintraub.The house is built in the International Style with an asymmetric shape, smooth undecorated siding, and flat roofs with a rooftop terrace. Inside there are elements of Art Moderne including rounded edges on walls and the fireplace, recessed cove lighting, built-in cabinets, a glass-block wall in the bathroom, and a round window by the front entrance. Miller designed three art pieces for the interior: a low-relief sculpture of a woman over the fireplace, a recessed decorative tile of a woman on a beach, and a metal door-pull on a built-in hallway cabinet. These objects were still in the house in 2009, when it was declared a Chicago Landmark.The house was chosen as a Chicago Landmark for three reasons. First, it is an important part of the city's history as an example of a middle-class house designed in early pre-World War II modernism. Second, it is important architecture in that it combines elements of International Style and Art Moderne in a pre-World War II house, with artwork by an important Chicago artist. Third, the house represents the innovations in modern design of an important Chicago architect.Rebori designed many other significant Chicago buildings and Rebori collaborated with Miller on others. The Madonna della Strada Chapel at Loyola University and the Fischer Studio Houses are both examples of buildings the two worked on together. This house was the site of a Chicago "Fight or Walk" protest of Chicago Transit Authority rate hikes on April 9, 2005, when the home was the property of Frank Kruesi, then president of the Chicago CTA.

Calumet Park (formerly DeYoung) is a village in Cook County, Illinois. The population was 7,025 at the 2020 census.On May 13, 2010, Mayor Joseph DuPar and the Village Board approved renaming 127th Street as Obama Drive, in honor of the 44th President of the United States. On August 21, 2010, State Senator Emil Jones III read a proclamation of the Illinois Senate in honor of the dedication on the same date. This road became the first Obama Drive in the country and the first road named after President Barack Obama in his home state of Illinois.
