Taman Keramat

Desa Tun Hussein Onn is the Malaysian Armed Forces residential area in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This special residential area is located near Setiawangsa in the south and Wangsa Maju in the north. It's located beside Malaysia Ministry Of Defence.

Setiawangsa LRT station is an elevated rapid transit station in Ampang, Malaysia, forming part of the Kelana Jaya Line (formerly known as PUTRA). The station was opened on June 1, 1999, as part of the line's second segment encompassing 12 stations between Masjid Jamek station and Gombak (not including Sri Rampai station) and an underground line.

Setiawangsa is an eastern suburb in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, located less than 4 kilometres from the city centre and located right next to Ampang. Japanese retailer JUSCO also has one outlet operating here in AU2 since 2008.Setiawangsa's parliamentary constituency is currently led by Nik Nazmi of PKR.

Wangsa Maju is a township and a constituency in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This area is surrounded by Setapak, Taman Melati and Gombak district in Selangor. Wangsa Maju is one of the largest townships in Kuala Lumpur and consists of many sections — Section 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 10.

Semarak or Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra (formerly Jalan Semarak and firstly Jalan Henry Gurney) is a main place in Kuala Lumpur. The Royal Malaysian Police Academy (PULAPOL) and Ministry of Defence Headquarters (Sri Pahlawan) is located here. Other notable place of interests are the Kuala Lumpur Campus (formerly UTM International Campus) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, the oldest public engineering and technological university in Malaysia, which was built there in 1946, with new buildings (Menara Razak) and a mosque built in 2012. Offices of JUPEM (Jabatan Ukur dan Pemetaan Malaysia), one of the Kuala Lumpur centres of Alliance Francaise and the Kuala Lumpur campus of Multimedia College (subsidiary of Multimedia University) are also located here.

At around 5:10 am on 14 September 2017, a fire occurred at the Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah madrasa in Kampung Datuk Keramat, Kuala Lumpur which resulted in 23 of the madrasa residents (comprising 21 students and two teachers) killed, while five others reportedly injured.Based on the investigations, there was a quarrel between the madrasa boarders and a group of seven teenage boys who enters the area to suck the drugs they purchased, prompting them to burning the building. All of the seven troubled teens were expelled from school following a numerous of serious discipline offences. Further causes were inluding a firework assault against them by the same teens and a quarrel over who will use the futsal court between two parties.

Tinggi Setapak National Secondary School (Malay: Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tinggi Setapak) is a national secondary school in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Established in 1955, it is an all-boys school, with the exception of the coed Sixth Form. When first established, it was located in High Street, Kuala Lumpur (hence its name), before moving to its current location in Setapak in 1963. The school is active in the sports arena, especially in the inter-school hockey championships.

Fairview International School is an International Baccalaureate (IB) school that was founded in Kuala Lumpur. It was established in 1978. It moved to its headquarters in Wangsa Maju (KL) from its Ampang campus and it also has campuses in Subang Jaya (Selangor), Penang Island, and Johor Bahru. The school opened a new campus in Ipoh in 2014. Notable alumni include, Han Jisung of South Korean Boygroup Stray Kids.

Dato' Keramat LRT station is a Malaysian rapid transit station that forms part of the Kelana Jaya Line in the Klang Valley. Dato' Keramat LRT station comes from the name of Jalan Dato Keramat. The intention of the station is to serve the Kampung Datuk Keramat as well as enclosed areas, it's a large zone in the Titiwangsa constituency. Dato Keramat Wet Market, Sekolah Datuk Keramat 1 and Sekolah Kebangsaan Datok Keramat 2 are within walking distance to this station.As an elevated station, Dato Keramat station contains two levels: The access points at street level, and the ticket area and adjoining platforms on the two elevated levels. All levels are linked via stairways, escalators and elevators designated for disabled passengers. The station uses a 2 side platforms along two tracks for trains traveling in opposite direction and it is entirely sheltered by a gabled roof supported by latticed frames.

Kampung Datuk Keramat or more commonly referred to as Keramat (old name - Tangga Cina) among the locals is a large zone in the Titiwangsa constituency, falling within the boundary of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located northeast of downtown Kuala Lumpur and borders the district of Ampang in Selangor. The Klang River runs roughly from northeast to the west and acts as a natural divider of Keramat and Ampang.Keramat, along with Kampung Baru, which is a 10 minutes drive away, has traditionally been a Malay majority area, being a Malay reserve area.
