The Fragata Presidente Sarmiento is a multi-use stadium in Isidro Casanova, Argentina. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Almirante Brown. The stadium has a capacity of 25,000 spectators and it opened in 1969.

The airport is located within a densely populated metropolitan area. The runway length includes a 515 metres (1,690 ft) displaced threshold on Runway 20. The El Palomar VOR-DME (Ident: PAL) is located 4.1 nautical miles (8 km) north-northeast of the airport.

The National Aeronautics Museum "Brigadier Edmundo Civati Bernasconi" (Spanish: Museo Nacional de Aeronáutica) is an Argentine museum located in the city of Morón, Buenos Aires. Established in 1960, the museum is dedicated to the history of aviation, in particular the Argentine Air Force. Its collection includes some unique aircraft, like the Pulqui I and Pulqui II jet prototypes, the Urubú flying wing glider, the I.Ae. 22 DL trainer, and a Latécoère XXV flown by Antoine de Saint Exupéry.

Ruta Nacional 3 ("National Route 3") is an Argentine highway, stretching from the eastern side of the country in Buenos Aires, crossing the provinces of Buenos Aires, Río Negro, Chubut Province, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego. Since its start at Avenida General Paz (A001) until the end, on the bridge over Lapataia River, it measures 3,045 kilometres (1,892 mi). The road is interrupted between km 2674 and 2696, due to the presence of Magellan Strait, which forces access between Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego Provinces through Chile, over Ruta CH-255 and Ruta CH-257 paved 57 kilometres (35 mi) north of the strait and another paved and treated 148 kilometres (92 mi) long south of it. The crossing of the Magellan Strait is done in 20 minutes through the use of a ferry traversing the width of 4.65 kilometres (2.89 mi) at that point.After National Decree 1931 of 3 August 1983, this road is called Comandante Luis Piedrabuena south of National Route 22, that is starting at km marker 719.

Nonetheless, it is the fourth most populated unit (localidad) in Morón Partido, with a 12% of the total. This city was the place of residence of the Buenos Aires governor Manuel Fresco located between Caseros 200 and Llavallol 1220.

The 2013 Buenos Aires rail disaster occurred on 13 June 2013 at about 07:30 local time (10:30 UTC), in Castelar, Buenos Aires Province, about 30km (19 miles) west of Buenos Aires, Argentina. A passenger train travelling in the morning rush hour hit a stationary train that was empty. At least 3 people were killed and another 315 were injured. This crash took place on the Sarmiento line between Once railway station and Moreno, the same line which was the scene of the 2012 Buenos Aires rail disaster.Following official investigations which determined that the brakes were in working order and that the driver sped through three warning signals without attempting to apply them, the driver, Daniel López, was formally charged with negligent homicide on October 2.
