Gmina Kozy

Kozy [ˈkɔzɨ] (German: Seiffersdorf, Seibersdorf, Kosy (1941–45); Wymysorys: Zajwyśdiüf) is a large village with a population of 12,457 (2013) within Bielsko County, located in the historical and geographical south-west region of Lesser Poland, between Kęty and Bielsko-Biała, and about 65 kilometres south-west of Kraków and south of Katowice. It is the largest village in Poland (by comparison - the population of Opatowiec, the smallest town in Poland, is only 338). The village name translates to 'Goats' in English, and has an area of 26,9 km2. Since 1 January 1999, following Polish local government reforms adopted in 1998, Kozy has been part of the newly established Silesian Voivodeship (province); between 1975 and 1998 it was formerly part of the Bielsko-Biała Voivodeship. The village is well connected with the nearby city of Bielsko-Biała. It has a railway transport station, and lies on National Road No. 52. Kozy is the centre of the administrative district of Gmina Kozy.

It was a separate municipality, but was merged into Bielsko-Biała in 1977. The osiedle has an area of 13.5091 km2 and on December 31, 2006 had 7,747 inhabitants.

It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-east of Wilamowice, 11 km (7 mi) north-east of Bielsko-Biała, and 41 km (25 mi) south of the regional capital Katowice.

Lipnik (German: Kunzendorf) is an osiedle (district) of Bielsko-Biała, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. The osiedle has an area of 8.9317 km2 and on December 31, 2006, had 5,885 inhabitants.It is located in the east part of the city. Historically it was also subdivided into Lipnik Dolny (lower) and Lipnik Górny (upper).

Straconka (German: Dresseldorf) is an osiedle (district) of Bielsko-Biała, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. The osiedle has an area of 5.8455 km2 and on December 31, 2006, had 3,149 inhabitants.It is located in the south-east part of the city, in the valley of the Straconka stream, on the western slopes of the Little Beskids.

Wilamowice (Polish: [vilamɔˈvit͡sɛ]; earlier Willamowice; German: Wilmesau; Wymysorys: Wymysoü [ˈvɨmɨsɔy̯], Silesian: Wilamowicy) is a rural town in southern Poland, situated in the Bielsko County, Silesian Voivodeship. The town is inhabited by a Germanic ethnic group of Vilamovians, who speak the highly endangered Wymysorys language.

Its seat is the town of Wilamowice, which lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) north-east of Bielsko-Biała and 39 km (24 mi) south of the regional capital Katowice. It is known for the Wymysorys language, which is spoken by some of the people here, mainly among the Vilamovian ethnic minority in Wilamowice. The gmina covers an area of 56.72 square kilometres (21.9 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 17,613.

Międzybrodzie Bialskie [mjɛnd͡zɨˌbrɔd͡ʑɛ ˈbjalskʲɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Czernichów, within Żywiec County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Czernichów, 11 km (7 mi) north of Żywiec, and 54 km (34 mi) south of the regional capital Katowice. It is located on the western shore of Lake Międzybrodzkie, on the left bank of the Soła river, in the valleys of the Ponikwa, Żarnówka Duża and Żarnówka Mała streams, on the slopes of Rogacz, Magurka Wilkowicka and Chrobacza Łąka. It is a tourist and holiday destination and a center for water sports.
