Royal Air Force Husbands Bosworth or more simply RAF Husbands Bosworth is a former Royal Air Force station near the village of Husbands Bosworth in the county of Leicestershire, United Kingdom.

Sulby is a hamlet and civil parish in West Northamptonshire in England. The population of the hamlet at the 2011 Census is included in the civil parish of Sibbertoft. The hamlet's name means 'farm/settlement of Sula', 'farm/settlement with a post' or 'farm/settlement in a gully'.Sulby Reservoir lies to the south of the settlement. Rene Payne (1734–1799) bought Sulby Hall in 1792. The writer Violette Graham (later Violette, Lady Greville) was born at the hall in 1842. The hall was demolished in 1952.

Welford is a village and civil parish in the West Northamptonshire unitary authority area of Northamptonshire, England, just south of the River Avon and the border with Leicestershire. At the 2011 Census, the population of the parish was 1,043.

St Mary's Church is an Anglican church and the parish church of Welford. It is a Grade II* listed building and stands on the east side of the junction of Church Lane and West Street. There was presumably a church at Welford by 1086, when the Domesday Book records the presence of a priest there, although it does not mention a church building as such. The main structure of the present building was erected in the 13th to 15th centuries. In 1872, it was restored and the north aisle rebuilt by E F Law. The church now consists of a nave, north and south aisles, chancel and west tower. A detailed description appears on the Historic England website. The parish registers survive from 1561, the historic registers being deposited at Northamptonshire Record Office. The monumental inscriptions inside the church and in its old graveyard have been transcribed and published. A monument in the churchyard, approximately 10 metres south of the south aisle, is a Grade II listed building in its own right. The description on the Historic England website is “Pair of headstones. Late 17th century. Lias ashlar with moulded heads. Oval inscription panel with partially legible inscription to Elizabeth Woodford dated 1677.” Welford is part of a united benefice along with Marston Trussell and Sibbertoft. Each parish retains its own church building.

Welford Congregational Church is a Congregational church built in 1793 in the village of Welford, Northamptonshire. It is a Grade II listed building and stands on the east side of West End.

Bosworth Hall actually consists of two houses, the Old Hall and a newer Georgian-style hall, situated in Theddingworth Road, Husbands Bosworth, Leicestershire. The Old Hall, originally constructed in Norman times, was substantially renovated in the 16th century as a west facing country house. The new and additional Georgian hall was then built facing south west, adjoining the older house, in about 1790. In about 1870 a Victorian Gothic wing was created to link the two buildings. The whole is a Grade II* listed building. The older Tudor house has two storeys with attics in a range of five gables. Some traces of the original Norman construction can be seen in the present building. A 19th century wing to the left added a sixth gable to the frontage. To the south the 1870 wing created the link to the three-storey, five-bay Georgian house.

Husbands Bosworth is a large crossroads village in South Leicestershire on the A5199 road from Leicester city to Northampton and the A4304 road from Junction 20 of the M1 motorway to Market Harborough. The population of the village was 1,027 at the 2011 census.John Cook, Solicitor General and later the prosecutor in the trial of Charles I, was baptised here on 18 September 1608 in All Saints' church. To the north of the village the Grand Union Canal passes through a 1,166-yard (1,066 m) tunnel that bears the name of the village. The River Welland passes one mile to the south-east, very close to its source. The River Avon also passes close by, two miles to the south-west. On the southern boundary of the village is a thriving allotment site, immediately adjacent to the village's cemetery. The nearest railway station is Market Harborough. Husbands Bosworth has long been a historic centre for the Catholic Faith. Since the Reformation, Mass has been celebrated at Bosworth Hall. In the 1870s St Mary’s Church was built to serve local Catholics. Today the church is served by the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. The Ordinariate allows former Anglicans to enter into the Catholic Church whilst retaining some of their traditions and style of worship. Sunday Mass is at 11am and there is also a midweek program of worship.

Bosworth Mill Meadow is a 5.7-hectare (14-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north-west of Welford in Northamptonshire. This hay meadow is traditionally managed. The main flora are crested dog's-tail and common knapweed, with meadow foxtail and great burnet in wet areas. Springs produce seepages which are rich in mosses and sedges. Dry upper slopes are species poor. There is access from a footpath which runs through the western corner.

Hothorpe Hall, in Northamptonshire, is a Georgian manor house near Market Harborough. It lies in the parish of Marston Trussell in Northamptonshire but is close to Theddingworth in Leicestershire. The hall is currently used as a conference centre and wedding venue.

Coombe Hill Hollow is a 4.3-hectare (11-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Sibbertoft in Northamptonshire.This steep narrow valley has neutral grassland which has never been subject to fertilisers or herbicides, and it has diverse flora. Grasses include brown bent, red fescue, Yorkshire fog and crested dog's-tail. Lime-rich areas have harebell and mouse-ear hawkweed, and there are locally important butterfly populations. Other habitats include bramble, gorse and woods.The site is private land with no public access.
