Napton on the Hill, often referred to locally as just Napton, is a village and civil parish 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Southam in Warwickshire, England. The population of the civil parish taken at the 2021 census was 1,416.

Lower Shuckburgh is a small village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Upper and Lower Shuckburgh, (which in the 2001 census had a population of 82) in the Stratford-on-Avon district, in eastern Warwickshire, England. In 1961 the parish had a population of 74. On 1 April 1988 the parish was abolished to form "Upper and Lower Shuckburgh".The village lies on the A425 road between Southam and Daventry. Just north of the village is the Oxford Canal. On Beacon Hill, just south of the village, is the deserted village of Upper Shuckburgh after which the parish is partly named. The most notable buildings in the village are the Church of St John the Baptist, designed by John Croft, which dates from 1864 and is built in Gothic style, and Shuckburgh Hall, a privately owned country house mansion, which has been the home of the Shuckburgh family since the 12th century. The 15 feet (5 m) war memorial is a Hornton stone obelisk, unveiled in 1921 and decorated with a bronze wreath of laurels.Shuckburgh was mentioned in the Domesday Book as Sochberge, possibly referring to a long lost burial mound or barrow. The villages appear as Ouer Shugbury and Nether Shugbury on the Christopher Saxton map of 1637.

Napton and Stockton railway station was a railway station on the London and North Western Railway branch line between Weedon and Leamington Spa. The station was built of wood and opened on 1 August 1895. It had two platforms, one having the main station facilities and the other being on a passing loop. The station was about 0.75 miles (1.21 km) north of Stockton and 1 mile (1.6 km) south of Broadwell. Napton was at least 2.5 miles (4.0 km) away. British Railways withdrew passenger traffic on 15 September 1958 and freight services on 2 December 1963.No trace of the station now remains, as the cutting where it was located has been filled in. Although some former railway workers cottages are nearby.

Broadwell is a village in Warwickshire, England in the civil parish of Leamington Hastings roughly midway between Dunchurch and Southam on the A426 road.

Stockton is a village and civil parish, in the Stratford-on-Avon district of Warwickshire, England. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 1,391, falling to 1,347 at the 2011 Census, then rising to 1,505 at the 2021 Census. The village is located just to the east of the A426 road two miles north-east of Southam, and eight miles south-west of Rugby. Stockton's name was first recorded in 1272, the name meaning 'a fenced enclosure'. During the 19th century, it developed as an industrial village.

Priors Hardwick is a village and civil parish in the Stratford district of Warwickshire, England. The population of the civil parish as taken at the 2011 census was 172. The name derives from the fact that it was originally a manor belonging to the Priors of Coventry.

Shuckburgh Hall is a privately owned country house mansion at Lower Shuckburgh, Warwickshire, near to Daventry in Northamptonshire. The estate has been the home of the Shuckburgh family since the 12th century. The house, which was granted Grade II* listed building status in January 1952, is not generally open to the public.The house has its origins in the 14th and 15th centuries but has been much altered and extended over many years. The main front, designed by Henry Edward Kendall Jr. in an Italianate style, was built on to the old house in 1844.Sir George Shuckburgh-Evelyn (1751–1804) placed an order with Jesse Ramsden for a telescope in 1781, and it was delivered ten years later. The telescope, known as the Shuckburgh telescope, was installed in his observatory at the hall and was moved after his death to the Royal Observatory, Greenwich in London by 1811. It was used there for over a century before being moved to the Science Museum, London, in 1927.He also ordered a clock from John Arnold & Son to use with the telescope at this observatory.

RAF Southam is a former Royal Air Force relief landing ground (RLG) located 0.7 miles (1.1 km) east of Southam, Warwickshire, England and 7.3 miles (11.7 km) south east of Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England. The airfield opened in 1940 and was mainly used by 9 Elementary Flying Training School training pilots. The airfield closed 18 December 1944.

Hill is a hamlet in the civil parish of Leamington Hastings and the borough of Rugby, in Warwickshire, England. The hamlet is between Leamington Hastings and the A426 road from Rugby to Southam.

Southam Zoo was a small zoo located just east of Southam, Warwickshire, England. It was started as a private zoo on a farm run by Leslie Clews and his wife Pauline, with their sons, Terry and Brian. In 1964 it was featured in a short film made by British Pathé. The zoo was opened to the public in 1966, and continued to be run by the family until Leslie's death when it was sold to Raymond Graham Jones and renamed Southam Exotic Cats.The zoo was the filming location of the music video for Gary Numan's 1981 single She's Got Claws. It was closed to the public in 1985 with many of the animals re-housed at Twycross Zoo. On its site now stands a Mediterranean restaurant, a hotel and housing.

Flecknoe was a railway station that served the village of Flecknoe in Warwickshire, England, on the Weedon to Leamington Spa branch line. The station was built in a remote location in open countryside around 1.5 miles north-west of Flecknoe, it also served the small nearby hamlets of Sawbridge and Lower Shuckburgh, both within a couple of miles of the station. The station consisted of a single wooden platform with a wooden station building, which contained the waiting room and stationmaster's office. There were also some small goods sidings alongside the station.The station was opened on 1 August 1895 along with the other stations on the Daventry to Marton Junction extension of the line. It was closed during the First World War from August 1917 to March 1919. The station's remote location and low usage meant that it closed to passengers on 3 November 1952, however, the goods sidings remained open for business until October 1956. The passenger service to the other stations on the line survived until 1958, and line survived carrying freight until 2 December 1963.Nothing now remains of the station, as all of the station buildings have long since disappeared, however the cutting where the station stood is still clearly visible, spanned by a road bridge from which the site can be seen. A row of cottages which once housed railway workers stands a short distance to the north of the road bridge.

Stoneton is a hamlet and manor in Warwickshire, England. It lies just to the northeast of Wormleighton. It was documented in the Domesday Book. From the late 15th century onwards the wealthy Spencer family owned land here, and owned the manor in conjunction with nearby Wormleighton Manor. Little remains of the original village, which lies in a field next to the manor. The moat has been restored to Stoneton Manor, using water supplied from a nearby spring. A windfarm with 8-13 turbines has been proposed in the vicinity since June 2012, with a capacity of up to 16 MW of low carbon energy.
