Colonia Federal is a colonia in the Venustiano Carranza borough of Mexico City, just south of the Mexico City International Airport. The neighborhood is known for its particular shape that resembles a spider web.

Boulevard Puerto Aéreo (Spanish pronunciation ; Spanish lit. transl. "Air Port Boulevard") is a station of the Mexico City Metro in Venustiano Carranza, Mexico City. It is an underground station with two side platforms served by Line 1 (the Pink Line) between Balbuena and Gómez Farías stations. It serves the colonias (neighborhoods) of Moctezuma, Santa Cruz Aviación, and Valentín Gómez Farías. It lies below Puerto Aéreo Boulevard, from which it receives its name, and it is near Calzada Ignacio Zaragoza. The station's pictogram features a silhouette of an air vent below a road bridge, in reference to a landmark found at the intersection of both avenues. The station is partially accessible for people with disabilities. Boulevard Puerto Aéreo station opened on 4 September 1969 as Aeropuerto (Spanish lit. transl. "Airport") with service westward toward Chapultepec and eastward toward Zaragoza. Because the station was the closest to the Mexico City International Airport at the time of its opening, the station's former pictogram featured the silhouette of an airliner. By 1981, this function was replaced by Terminal Aérea station on Line 5 (the Yellow Line). However, due to the constant confusion of travelers, the authorities changed the name and logo of the station in 1997. In 2019, the station had an average daily ridership of 23,095 passengers, making it the 63rd busiest station in the network and the 13th busiest of the line.

Ciudad Deportiva (Spanish: Estación Ciudad Deportiva) is a metro station along Line 9 of the Mexico City Metro. It is named for the nearby the Magdalena Mixhuca Sports City. Magdalena Mixuhca Sports City was enlarged in 1967 as part of the project to create the venues needed for the 1968 Summer Olympics. The Sports City is home to the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez (racetrack), the Foro Sol (baseball stadium and concert venue), the Agustín Melgar Olympic Velodrome, and the Palacio de los Deportes (indoor arena).The station is elevated and sits in the median of the Viaducto Río Piedad. It was opened 26 August 1987. The logo for the station represents a player engaged in a Mesoamerican ballgame (a similar logo is used for Metro Deportivo 18 de Marzo on lines 3 and 6).In December 2009 a man in his 30s was shot twice in the back next to the station. From 23 April to 15 May 2020, the station was temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico.

Hangares (Spanish pronunciation ; Spanish lit. transl. "Hangars") is a Mexico City Metro station in Venustiano Carranza, Mexico City. It is an underground station with two side platforms, served by Line 5 (the Yellow Line), between Terminal Aérea and Pantitlán stations. Hangares station serves the colonia of Federal, located next to the Mexico City International Airport. The station was opened on 19 December 1981, on the first day of the then Consulado–Pantitlán service. The pictogram for the station features a biplane inside a hangar and its name is on account of its proximity to the airport's hangars. In 2019, the station had an average daily ridership of 4,856 passengers, making it the 188th busiest station in the network and the twelfth busiest of the line.

Zaragoza (Mexican Spanish pronunciation ) is a station of the Mexico City Metro in Venustiano Carranza, Mexico City. It is an underground station with two side platforms served by Line 1 (the Pink Line) between Gómez Farías and Pantitlán stations. It serves the colonias (neighborhoods) of 4 Árboles and Puebla. It lies below the Calzada Ignacio Zaragoza from which it receives its name, which in turn is named after Ignacio Zaragoza, the Secretary of War and Navy during the Battle of Puebla (internationally known as Cinco de Mayo). The station's pictogram features a silhouette of an equestrian statue that honors him. Zaragoza station opened on 4 September 1969 with service westward toward Chapultepec; service eastward toward Pantitlán started on 22 August 1984. The facilities are accessible for people with disabilities; inside there is a cultural display, an Internet café and a health module. In 2019, the station had an average daily ridership of 46,475 passengers, making it the 18th busiest station in the network and the 6th busiest of the line.

The Fernando Montes de Oca Fencing Hall is an indoor sports venue located in the Magdalena Mixhuca Sports City area of Mexico City. It hosted the fencing competitions and the fencing part of the modern pentathlon competition of the 1968 Summer Olympics. The Olympic Fencing Hall was built between November 13, 1967, and September, 1968, in the Magdalena Mixhuca Sports City. The 310-by-210-foot rectangular structure is covered by a convex roof of corrugated asbestos supported by steel cables. The ground floor had 15 fencing strips—each of which was provided with a two-sided scoreboard, a judges' podium and a control table—and 37 cubicles for competitors. On the south side were facilities for the press, dressing rooms, etc. The north side housed offices, a lounge, a warm-up area and additional dressing rooms and service areas. On the upper floor were grandstands with a seating capacity of 3,000.

The 34th federal electoral district of the Federal District (Distrito electoral federal 34 del Distrito Federal) is a defunct federal electoral district of Mexico. Occupying a portion of what is today Mexico City, it was in existence from 1978 to 1996. During that time, it returned one deputy to the Chamber of Deputies for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system, electing its first in the 1979 mid-terms and its last in the 1994 general election. Votes cast in the district also counted towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the country's electoral regions. The 31st to 40th districts were abolished in the Federal Electoral Institute's 1996 redistricting process because the capital's population no longer warranted that number of seats in Congress.

The Estadio Jesús Martínez "Palillo" is a multi-use stadium located in the Magdalena Mixhuca Sports City in Mexico City. It is currently the home of the Mexicas of the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional (LFA) and Guerreros de Xico of the Serie B de México. The stadium has a capacity of 6,000 seated spectators.

The Gran Premio Tecate was a round of the Champ Car World Series held on the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit in Mexico City, Mexico. It was first held in 1980, and in its first two years of competition was the penultimate round of the championship. After its re-inception in 2002, it was the season-ending round. It was to have been the penultimate round of the 2007 season, but became the final round when the Grand Prix Arizona was cancelled.

The Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is a 4.304 km (2.674 mi) motorsport race track in Mexico City, Mexico, named after the racing drivers Ricardo and Pedro Rodríguez. The circuit got its name shortly after it opened when Ricardo Rodríguez died in practice for the non-Championship 1962 Mexican Grand Prix. Ricardo's brother Pedro was also killed behind the wheel nine years later. Since 2015, the track has once again hosted the Formula One Mexican Grand Prix, an event it previously hosted in two separate periods on a different layout, the last occasion of which was in 1992. The circuit is located within the public park of the Magdalena Mixhuca Sports City in southeast Mexico City. The circuit is owned by the Government of the City, but is currently operated under concession by Corporación Interamericana de Entretenimiento (CIE) through OCESA, one of CIE's subsidiaries. CIE also organizes the NASCAR and Desafío Corona races in this circuit and rents the circuits to other parties, including race organizers, automobile clubs and track amateurs for fees that are controversial due to their disproportionately high amounts compared to other ex-F1 courses. The NASCAR Xfinity Series started racing at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in the 2005 season and ended in the 2008 season. Martin Truex Jr. won the race in 2005, and Denny Hamlin won in 2006. For the 2007 race, the chicane was removed to increase passing opportunities down the front straight and into turn 1, and Juan Pablo Montoya from Bogotá, Colombia, won the race. Kyle Busch was the winner of the race in 2008. The A1 Grand Prix series started racing at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in the 2006–07 season using the full-track configuration used by Formula One. Alex Yoong from Malaysia won the sprint race and Oliver Jarvis from the United Kingdom won the feature race. In the 2007–08 season, Jonny Reid from New Zealand won the sprint race and Adam Carroll of Team Ireland won the feature race.

The 2004 Gran Premio Telmex/Tecate was the fourteenth and final round of the 2004 Bridgestone Presents the Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford season, held on November 7, 2004, at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, Mexico. Sébastien Bourdais won the pole and the race and in doing so also secured his first of four Champ Car titles.

Puebla is a station on the Mexico City Metro. It is located in the Puebla district of the Iztacalco delegation of Mexico City; both the area it is located in and the station are named for the nearby city of Puebla. The station logo represents some angels, as the city is commonly called The City of Angels.The station is elevated and has two entrances on opposite sides of the avenue. Street vendors occupy the areas around the station entrances and a bus depot is underneath the Metro Line. Puebla is often used by commuters wishing to cross the city from the east, who wish to avoid the relative overcrowding of the terminal station Pantitlán.
