Marrowstone is a census-designated place (CDP) in Jefferson County, Washington, United States. The population was 844 at the 2010 census. All Marrowstone addresses are in Nordland, Washington, and the ZIP code for Marrowstone Island is 98358. Marrowstone takes its name from Marrowstone Point, the northernmost point on Marrowstone Island. It was given the name "Marrow-Stone Point" in 1792 by the British explorer, George Vancouver, in describing the area's hard, clay-like soil.

Indian Island is an unincorporated community in Jefferson County, Washington, United States. The whole island is covered by the Marrowstone CDP. It is located between Port Townsend Bay and Kilisut Harbor. Parts also border on Oak Bay and Scow Bay. Until the construction of the Port Townsend Ship Canal (also known as Portage Canal) Indian Island was connected to the mainland by a broad sand flat and backshore marsh. Indian Island is the location of the Indian Island Naval Reserve, which covers the entire island. No civilian residences are allowed on Indian Island. Indian Island is attached to Marrowstone Island, and is often grouped with it. Indian Island is served by the ZIP code for Nordland. The entire island has a land area of 11.28 km2 (4.3553 sq mi) and a population of 44 persons as of the 2000 census.

Fort Flagler State Park is a public recreation area that occupies the site of Fort Flagler, a former United States Army fort at the northern end of Marrowstone Island in Washington. The state park occupies 1,451 acres (587 ha) at the entrance to Admiralty Inlet and the Marrowstone Point Light lying adjacent. Port Townsend is visible to the northwest, the cranes at the Navy base on Indian Island to the west, and Whidbey Island to the east across Admiralty Inlet. Flagler Road (SR 116) terminates at the park entrance.

The Marrowstone Point Light is an active navigational aid overlooking Admiralty Inlet at the northern tip of Marrowstone Island, Jefferson County, Washington, in the United States. It lies adjacent to but is not part of Fort Flagler State Park; it may be viewed from the park's beach but is not open to the public.

The Port Townsend Ship Canal (also known as the Portage Canal) is a 4,800-foot (1,500 m) canal connecting Port Townsend Bay and Oak Bay in Jefferson County, Washington. Built in 1915, the canal separates Indian Island from the Quimper Peninsula of mainland Washington. State Route 116 crosses the only bridge over the canal. There are no locks.

Kinney Point State Park is a 67-acre (27 ha) Washington marine state park in Jefferson County. The park sits on 683 feet (208 m) of shoreline at the south end of Marrowstone Island and has no upland access. The park is part of the Cascadia Marine Trail with campsites restricted to boaters arriving by other than motorized means. Park activities include fishing, clam digging, and crabbing.

Methodist Episcopal Church of Port Hadlock (Barrett House) is a historic Methodist church, now a private home, at Randolph and Matheson Streets in Hadlock, Washington. Built in 1903, the church was the first permanent Methodist church in Hadlock. The congregation shared a traveling minister with the Methodist church in Chimacum. In the 1950s, the two congregations merged to form a new church; the Hadlock church's old bell and pews were moved to the new church, and the old building became a private residence.The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Jefferson Community School is a non-profit independent school located in downtown Port Townsend, Washington. Opened in 2005, it is one of the only four independent educational institutions in Jefferson County. Jefferson Community School serves students from grades 6 to 12, and had a total enrollment of 16 students for the 2018–2019 school year.

Port Hadlock-Irondale is a census-designated place (CDP) in Jefferson County, Washington, United States. The population was 3,983 at the 2020 census.

Chimacum is an unincorporated community in Jefferson County, Washington, United States, located in the center of the primary agricultural area of the eastern Olympic Peninsula.

The Rothschild House is a historic house in Port Townsend, Washington, U.S.. It was built by David Charles Henry Rothschild in 1868. The house is managed by the Jefferson County Historical Society as a historic house museum. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970; and is included in Port Townsend Historic District, which was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977.
