Hungarian Open Air Museum

Szentendre is a riverside town in Pest County, Hungary, between the capital city Budapest and Pilis-Visegrád Mountains. The town is known for its museums (most notably the Hungarian Open Air Museum), galleries, and artists. Due to its historic architecture along with easy accessibility via rail and river, it has become a destination for tourists staying in Budapest. The Eparchy of Buda (Serbian: Будимска епархија or Budimska eparhija) is a diocese or eparchy of the Serbian Orthodox Church, having jurisdiction over the territory of Hungary. The seat of the eparchy is in Szentendre (Serbian: Сентандреја or Sentandreja) near Budapest.

The Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos (Serbian Cyrillic: Саборна црква успенија пресвете Богородице, Hungarian: Belgrád-székesegyház) in Szentendre, Hungary (known as the Belgrade Cathedral as well as the Assumption Church and Theotokos Church) is the main and largest among Serbian Orthodox churches in Szentendre. The building is located within the fenced area of the episcopal palace and the Serbian Orthodox Ecclesiastical Art Museum (established in 1964), surrounded by veteran trees. The church's bell tower, located on the main façade, is 48 meters high, making it the tallest tower in Szentendre.

Transfiguration Church in Szentendre is a Serbian Orthodox church in Hungary. Local church parish is under the jurisdiction of Eparchy of Buda. The church was constructed from 1741 until 1746. In 1980 the church appeared on a Hungarian postal stamp. The church is also the home for a museum of Eparchy of Buda. The museum collection includes artwork from the 14th to the 19th centuries. It is only open for the Feast of the Transfiguration around August.

Požarevac Church (Serbian Cyrillic: Пожаревачка црква, Hungarian: Pozsarevacska szerb ortodox templom), officially Church of St. Archangel Michael, in Szentendre is a Serbian Orthodox church in Hungary named after the town of Požarevac in Serbia. The church is one of a couple of Serbian Orthodox churches in the town and is a part of the Eparchy of Buda. The church was completed in 1759 and consecrated in 1763. According to tradition, it was built next to the Bučina stream. The neighborhood around the church was also known as Požarevačka Mahala. The iconostasis of the Pozarevac Church is older than the present church since it was originally installed in the "old" Cathedral Church in 1742. The church was damaged during a major flood in 1838 but was soon renovated. The latest renovation of the church took place in 2018.

The Urban Public Transport Museum of the Budapesti Közlekedési Zrt. is located in Szentendre, Hungary. The museum opened on July 14, 1992, with five exhibition halls and two showrooms, as well as an open exhibition space in front of the halls. It is open every year from April to October, the entrance fee is one line ticket for adults and one metro ticket for children and pensioners. It is next to the H5 HÉV terminus and the local Volánbusz bus station.

Szentendre (Hungarian: Szentendrei járás) is a district in north-western part of Pest County. Szentendre is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Central Hungary Statistical Region.

Leányfalu is a riverside village in Pest county, Budapest metropolitan area, Hungary. It is just north of Szentendre located at 47°43′36″N 19°5′22″E. Located between the branch of the Little Danube (Kis-Duna) and the spurs of the Visegrád Mountains, Leányfalu stretches some 5 kilometres in length. It was declared a holiday resort in 1936 and became an independent municipality in 1949.To visit Leányfalu from Budapest, take the local Volán buses on the Budapest Újpest-Városkapu – Tahitótfalu – Visegrád – Esztergom line, which leaves around one to three times per hour. By automobile, take route 11 passing through Szentendre.

Pilisszentlászló is a village in Pest county, Hungary. It has fewer than 900 inhabitants.
