Hôtel de Lauzun

The Club des Hashischins (sometimes also spelled Club des Hashishins or Club des Hachichins, "Club of the Hashish-Eaters") was a Parisian group dedicated to the exploration of drug-induced experiences, notably with hashish. Members included Victor Hugo, Alexandre Dumas, Charles Baudelaire, Gérard de Nerval, and Honoré de Balzac.

The Paris Institute for Advanced Study (Paris IAS, or Institut d'études avancées de Paris) is an international research center that offers fellowships to researchers from all over the world in the field of humanities and social sciences. It is also open to other disciplines, in particular the life sciences, for projects in dialogue with the humanities and social sciences. The institute was designed to foster high level research, international and interdisciplinary exchanges and the development of new methods and research objects. The Paris IAS hosts yearly an average of twenty five researchers for stays of five to ten months.

The Hôtel Lambert (French: [otɛl lɑ̃bɛːʁ]) is a hôtel particulier, a grand mansion townhouse, on the Quai Anjou on the eastern tip of the Île Saint-Louis, in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. In the 19th century, the name Hôtel Lambert also came to designate a political faction of Polish exiles associated with Prince Adam Jerzy Czartoryski, who had purchased the Hôtel Lambert.

The quai des Célestins runs along the Seine in Paris' 4th arrondissement. The quay, or dock, runs into the quai Henri-IV upstream, and downstream becomes the quai de l'Hôtel-de-Ville.

The Pont de Sully (or Pont Sully; French pronunciation: ​[pɔ̃ də syli]) is a bridge across the Seine in Paris, France. In reality two separate bridges, carrying the Boulevard Henri IV, meet on the eastern tip of the Île Saint-Louis in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. The northern part links the island to the rest of the 4th arrondissement on the Right Bank, while the southern part links the island to the Boulevard Saint-Germain in the 5th arrondissement of Paris on the Left Bank. The nearest Metro station is Sully – Morland, located on the Right Bank.

The Forney Library (French: Bibliothèque Forney) is part of the network of heritage and specialized libraries of the City of Paris.

The Hôtel Hesselin, later known as the Hôtel d'Ambrun, was a Parisian town house (hôtel particulier), erected around 1639 to 1642 for Louis Hesselin to the designs of the French architect Louis Le Vau. It was located on the Île Saint-Louis, on the west side of the rue Poulletier at its intersection with the quai du Dauphin (now 24 quai de Béthune, 4th arrondissement of Paris). The hotel was demolished in 1935 by Helena Rubinstein, who had a new building erected to the designs of the architect Louis Sue.

The Pont Marie is a bridge which crosses the Seine in Paris, France. The bridge links the Île Saint-Louis to the quai de l'Hôtel de Ville and is one of three bridges designed to allow traffic flow between the Île Saint-Louis and the Left and Right banks of Paris. The Pont Marie links the Right Bank and is the counterpart of the Pont de la Tournelle which is built along the same line but serves to connect the Île Saint-Louis with the Left Bank.

Pont Marie (French pronunciation: ​[pɔ̃ maʁi]) is a station of the Paris Métro opened in 1926 with the extension of Line 7 from Palais Royal–Musée du Louvre. It is named after the nearby bridge over the Seine, the Pont Marie, which connects to Île Saint-Louis.

The Lycée Charlemagne is located in the Marais quarter of the 4th arrondissement of Paris, the capital city of France. Constructed many centuries before it became a lycée, the building originally served as the home of the Order of the Jesuits. The lycée itself was founded by Napoléon Bonaparte and celebrated its bicentennial in 2004. The lycée is directly connected to the Collège Charlemagne (formerly known as le petit lycée) which is located directly across from it, on the Rue Charlemagne. Also the lycée offers two-year courses preparing students for entry to the Grandes écoles, divided into seven classes: three first-year classes: two of mathematics, physics, and engineering science one of physics, chemistry, and engineering science four second-year classes: two of mathematics and physics two of physics and chemistry.
