The Kobe Golf Club (神戸ゴルフ倶楽部, Kōbe Golf Club) is Japan's first golf course, built on Mount Rokko in 1903 by English expatriate Arthur Hasketh Groom. The club began as a nine-hole course on May 24, 1903, but quickly expanded to eighteen the following year. Strict rules are enforced to maintain the course's pristine condition such as a prohibition of golf carts and a limit of eight clubs per player. As the course was literally carved out of a mountain, it can be quite demanding and clubs are carried in canvas bags to reduce the strain on caddies.

The Rokkō Arima Ropeway (六甲有馬ロープウェー, Rokkō Arima Rōpuwē) is Japanese aerial lift line in Kōbe, Hyōgo, operated by Kōbe City Urban Development. Opened in 1970, the line links Mount Rokkō and Arima Onsen hot spring. The aerial lift consisted of two lines, Ura-Rokkō Line (裏六甲線, Ura-Rokkō-sen) and Omote-Rokkō Line (表六甲線, Omote-Rokkō-sen). The latter, however, is currently out of service, because users shifted to cars and buses.

The Rokkō Cable Line (六甲ケーブル線, Rokkō Kēburu-sen) is a Japanese funicular line on Mount Rokkō in Kobe, Hyōgo. It is the only railway line Rokkō Maya Railway (六甲摩耶鉄道, Rokkō Maya Tetsudō) operates, while it also operates bus lines. The line opened in 1932. The line's two stations differ in elevation by 493 m (1,617 ft).

Mount Nagamine (長峰山, Nagamine-san) is a 687.8 m (2,257 ft) mountain in Nada, Kobe, Hyogo, Japan. This mountain is one of the major mountains of Rokko Mountains. Mount Nagamine literally means, long ridge mountain.

Rokkosan Pasture (神戸市立六甲山牧場, Kōbe Shiritsu Rokkōsan Bokujō) is a public pasture farm situated in Mount Rokkō, Kobe, Japan.

Tosen Goshobō (Japanese: 陶泉 御所坊) is a historic 20-room ryokan (Japanese inn) in Arima Onsen, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. The location has a history spanning over 800 years as a place for lodging (since the 12th century) and has onsen (baths) that are supplied by natural hot springs.The hot springs were discovered over 1,500 years ago. The water has a high iron content that stain the baths at Tosen Goshobo a terra-cotta color. Part of the inn's name, "tosen," is attributed to the baths' coloration, which means "clay spring" in Japanese. The water temperature is around 200 °F (93.33 °C).

Kobe University (神戸大学, Kōbe daigaku), also known in the Kansai region as Shindai (神大), is a leading Japanese national university located in the foothills of Mount Rokkō in the city of Kobe in Hyōgo Prefecture. It was established in 1949, but the academic origins of Kobe University trace back to the establishment of Kobe Higher Commercial School in 1902, which was renamed as Kobe University of Commerce, and Kobe University of Economics. Kobe University is one of the oldest and largest national universities in Japan, as well as one of the highest ranking national universities in the country. It comprises 14 graduate schools and 11 undergraduate faculties, and holds about 16,000 students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs. Overseas students accounted for 1,179 members of the student body as of 1 May 2021. It also has 3,102 staff members, including professors, associate professors and administrative officials.Kobe Higher Commercial School was one of the oldest institution with business and economics majors in Japan. Because Kobe is also the first collegiate business school in Japan, Kobe has been called the birthplace of Japanese higher education in economics and business administration. Furthermore, the Graduate School of Law was established from the legal studies section of the former Kobe University of Economics and has become a leading institution in the field of legal and political studies.

Hakutsuru Fine Art Museum (白鶴美術館, Hakutsuru Bijutsukan) opened in 1934 in Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan to display the collection of Kanō Jihei, seventh head of the Hakutsu Sake Brewing Company (白鶴酒造). As such it was one of the first private museums in Japan. The collection of some 1450 items includes two National Treasures and twenty-two Important Cultural Properties.

Shoei Junior College (頌栄短期大学, Shōei tanki daigaku) is a private junior college in Kobe, Hyōgo, Japan, established in 1950. The predecessor of the school was founded in 1889.

Arima Onsen (有馬温泉, Arima Onsen) is an onsen, or hot springs in Kita-ku, Kobe, Japan. This Onsen is still a hidden treasure of modern Kobe, behind Mount Rokkō. It attracts many Japanese who want tranquility with beautiful natural surroundings and yet easy access from the busy cities in the Kansai metropolitan area including Osaka. Arima Onsen was named in the Heian-period The Pillow Book as one of the three famous springs in Japan. It was selected as the most prestigious hot spring during the Edo period.

Arima Onsen Station (有馬温泉駅, Arima Onsen-eki) is a railway station on the Shintetsu Arima Line located near Arima Onsen, Kita-ku, Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. It is the end point of the line. It is the highest station of Kobe Electric Railway at an elevation of 357 meters, as well as its easternmost station.

Kobe Shoin Women's University (神戸松蔭女子学院大学, Kōbe Shōin Joshi Gakuin Daigaku) is an all-women's private university in Nada Ward of Kobe, in western Japan. It was founded by visiting missionaries in 1892. It is a four-year university offering courses across multiple faculties, with an annual enrollment of about 2,500 students. Additionally, the university has a graduate school offering graduate qualifications at Masters and Doctoral level in psychology and linguistics.
