Arima Onsen Station

Arima Onsen (有馬温泉, Arima Onsen) is an onsen, or hot springs in Kita-ku, Kobe, Japan. This Onsen is still a hidden treasure of modern Kobe, behind Mount Rokkō. It attracts many Japanese who want tranquility with beautiful natural surroundings and yet easy access from the busy cities in the Kansai metropolitan area including Osaka. Arima Onsen was named in the Heian-period The Pillow Book as one of the three famous springs in Japan. It was selected as the most prestigious hot spring during the Edo period.

Tosen Goshobō (Japanese: 陶泉 御所坊) is a historic 20-room ryokan (Japanese inn) in Arima Onsen, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. The location has a history spanning over 800 years as a place for lodging (since the 12th century) and has onsen (baths) that are supplied by natural hot springs.The hot springs were discovered over 1,500 years ago. The water has a high iron content that stain the baths at Tosen Goshobo a terra-cotta color. Part of the inn's name, "tosen," is attributed to the baths' coloration, which means "clay spring" in Japanese. The water temperature is around 200 °F (93.33 °C).

The Rokkō Arima Ropeway (六甲有馬ロープウェー, Rokkō Arima Rōpuwē) is Japanese aerial lift line in Kōbe, Hyōgo, operated by Kōbe City Urban Development. Opened in 1970, the line links Mount Rokkō and Arima Onsen hot spring. The aerial lift consisted of two lines, Ura-Rokkō Line (裏六甲線, Ura-Rokkō-sen) and Omote-Rokkō Line (表六甲線, Omote-Rokkō-sen). The latter, however, is currently out of service, because users shifted to cars and buses.

The Rokkō Alpine Botanical Garden (六甲高山植物園, Rokkō Kōzan Shokubutsu-en) is a botanical garden located on Mount Rokkō, Kobe, Japan. It is open daily in the warmer months, except some Thursdays; an admission fee is charged. The garden was established in 1933 at an altitude of 865 meters near the peak of Mount Rokkō. It currently contains about 1,500 kinds of alpine plants from Japan and the Himalayas, including dicentra, edelweiss, skunk cabbage, and native wild plants.

The Kobe Golf Club (神戸ゴルフ倶楽部, Kōbe Golf Club) is Japan's first golf course, built on Mount Rokko in 1903 by English expatriate Arthur Hasketh Groom. The club began as a nine-hole course on May 24, 1903, but quickly expanded to eighteen the following year. Strict rules are enforced to maintain the course's pristine condition such as a prohibition of golf carts and a limit of eight clubs per player. As the course was literally carved out of a mountain, it can be quite demanding and clubs are carried in canvas bags to reduce the strain on caddies.

The Rokkō Cable Line (六甲ケーブル線, Rokkō Kēburu-sen) is a Japanese funicular line on Mount Rokkō in Kobe, Hyōgo. It is the only railway line Rokkō Maya Railway (六甲摩耶鉄道, Rokkō Maya Tetsudō) operates, while it also operates bus lines. The line opened in 1932. The line's two stations differ in elevation by 493 m (1,617 ft).
