Greenhills, formerly and still commonly known as the Greenhills Shopping Center, is a 16-hectare mixed-use shopping, residential and leisure development located in Greenhills, San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is owned and managed by Ortigas & Company with a mall complex containing more than 2,000 stores.

On March 2, 2020, 40-year-old Archie Paray, who worked as a security guard at the Greenhills shopping mall complex in Greenhills, San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines took 55 people hostage at the administration office on the second floor of the Virra Mall. Paray was an employee of Safeguard Armor Security Corporation (SASCOR), and believed he was a subject of unjust termination. During the standoff, Paray demanded authorities to air his grievance against his former employers. Only one person was injured during the incident, and Paray was arrested after he freed the hostages.

La Salle Green Hills ("LSGH") is a private Catholic school run by the Philippine District of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in Ortigas Avenue, Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, Philippines. It was established in 1959 by the De La Salle Brothers led by Brother H. Gabriel Connon, FSC primarily to provide more slots to students wishing to avail of the then very popular De La Salle primary education offered in Taft Avenue, Manila. La Salle Green Hills offers primary and secondary education. Both Grade School and High School departments of La Salle Green Hills were awarded Level III accreditation—the highest possible level—by the PAASCU and FAAP.

The Atlanta Centre is an office skyscraper in San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is also the highest building in the city with a total height of 179 metres from the ground to its architectural spire.The building has 35 floors above ground, including a 10-level parking area. Ortigas Avenue is a 15.5 km (9.6 mi) highway running from eastern Metro Manila to western Rizal. It is one of the busiest highways in Metro Manila, serving as the main thoroughfare of the metro's east–west corridor, catering mainly to the traffic to and from Rizal. The western terminus of the highway is at the boundary of San Juan and Quezon City. The highway then traverses through Ortigas Center and along the cities of Mandaluyong, Quezon City, and Pasig, followed by the municipalities of Cainta and Taytay, and finally ending in the city of Antipolo. The portion of Ortigas Avenue from Eulogio Rodriguez Jr. Avenue (C-5) in Pasig to Taytay Diversion Road in Taytay is designated as a component of Radial Road 5 (R-5). The highway is also designated as National Route 60 (N60) and National Route 184 (N184) of the Philippine highway network, respectively.

Fountain International School (FIS) is a Cambridge School in Greenhills, San Juan, Metro Manila. It has two campuses that serves the multicultural and multinational community in Metro Manila, Philippines. FIS is an accredited Cambridge School that offers IGCSE subjects to prepare its students for international recognition. It is also certified by College Board to offer Advanced Placement (AP) and SAT programs and assessment. The school curriculum complies with the basic and secondary education minimum learning competencies required by the Department of Education with higher level objectives in Science, Math and English. It has recently become a Full Member of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS). The school consists of a preschool and an elementary school along Annapolis Street in Greenhills, San Juan, and a high school located at Santolan Road, West Crame, San Juan.

Club Filipino (pronounced klub) was the first exclusive social club in the Philippines, founded on November 6, 1898 by Filipino high society, including Spanish mestizos and members of the native aristocracy. It is located between North Greenhills subdivision and the Greenhills Shopping Center in San Juan. The club's present amenities include a swimming pool, tennis, badminton and squash courts, bowling alleys, outdoor restaurant, salon, and "Kalayaan Hall," an indoor events/reception room.

Greenhills is an administrative division in eastern Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is an urban barangay in San Juan and is the largest barangay in the city, spanning over a third of San Juan City's total land area.Centered on the Greenhills mixed-use development and its adjacent residential subdivisions, the barangay's borders are defined by the Ermitaño Creek bordering Barangays Addition Hills, Little Baguio, and Santa Lucia to the west and Barangays East Pasadeña and Corazon De Jesus to the northwest. It has land borders with Quezon City's Barangay Valencia to the northwest, Barangay West Crame to the northeast, Barangay Camp Aguinaldo to the east, and Mandaluyong City's Barangay Wack-Wack Greenhills to the southeast.

The People Power Monument is a monument built to commemorate the events of the 1986 People Power Revolution. The monument is located on the corner of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue and White Plains Avenue in Barangay Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City, Philippines. It was made by Eduardo Castrillo in 1993. It is about 0.90 kilometers (0.56 mi) from the EDSA Shrine, another monument built to commemorate the event.
