The Vanguard School (TVS) is a public charter school in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Founded as the Cheyenne Mountain Charter Academy (CMCA) in 1995, it is chartered with the Harrison School District 2. Originally founded as a K–6 charter school, the school expanded to a K–12 school by 2006, and it graduated its first class of seniors in 2010.

Shooks Run is a stream in Colorado Springs, Colorado, U.S. It is a tributary of Fountain Creek and drains the urban area of Colorado Springs.

Cheyenne Creek is a stream in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado at 5,920 feet (1,800 m) in elevation. The stream is fed by the North Cheyenne Creek and South Cheyenne Creek and flows into Fountain Creek near Nevada Avenue, between Interstate 25 and the Pikes Peak Greenway trail. North Cheyenne Creek and South Cheyenne Creek flow through Teller and El Paso Counties. The source of South Cheyenne Creek is Mount Big Chief, near St. Peter's Dome, and it flows to Seven Falls.

Distillery 291 is a whiskey distillery in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Distillery 291 produces grain-to-glass whiskey from a small production facility. Two of its best-known whiskeys are 291 Colorado Rye Whiskey and 291 Colorado Bourbon Whiskey. Both brands are charcoal mellowed with Colorado aspen staves.Distillery 291 Whiskey has won numerous awards for its whiskey brands. Distillery 291 whiskey is sold in Colorado and California.

Pikes Peak Prep is a free, public K–12 charter school located in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado. United States.Pikes Peak Prep is ranked a Performance level school based on the Colorado Department of Education evaluation in 2016. 100% of seniors in 2016 graduated from Pikes Peak Prep, and over 90% of students enroll in college.In 2012, Pikes Peak Prep received the Governor's Distinguished Improvement Award.The school offers a Middle College Program, allowing students to earn college credits. High School students are able to concurrently enroll in college classes at Pikes Peak Community College, and receive both college credit and high school credit. Pikes Peak Prep pays for student's college tuition, provides transportation, and books. This school changed locations after management of the school was changed in an agreement with Colorado Charter School Institute.

The Maytag Aircraft Building is a historical building located on 701 S, Cascade Avenue in Colorado Springs, Colorado that was built in 1957. It was added to the US National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) on January 16, 2008. The building's name is derived from a Colorado Springs company that was headquartered in the building from 1957 to 1992.

Wildridge, Colorado is located above the commercial core of Avon on the opposite side of the Eagle Valley from Beaver Creek. Note that hiking can be done over the peak to the Vail town side.

The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum is located at 215 S. Tejon Street in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The granite building with a domed clock tower was the El Paso County Courthouse building from 1903 to 1973. The museum, which moved to this location in 1979, has fine arts, artifacts and archival collections that document the Pikes Peak region. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places, and was the 2nd property to be listed in El Paso County, after Pikes Peak.Located within Alamo Square Park the museum is also home to the Starsmore Center for Local History, a manuscript collection and research facility.

Weidner Field is a soccer-specific stadium located in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Having opened on April 24, 2021, it is home to the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC who compete in the second level of U.S. men's professional soccer, the USL Championship (USLC). While designed for soccer with a seating capacity of 8,000, the stadium is capable of hosting other types of events reaching a capacity as high as 15,000. Sitting at an altitude of roughly 6,035 feet (1,839 m) above sea level, the facility has the highest elevation of any stadium used by a professional team in the American soccer pyramid. It replaces the former Weidner Field, now known as Martin 'Ed' Ragain Field, a smaller venue in the east of the city. The stadium was part of a collection of projects led by the City of Colorado Springs known as City for Champions including the US Olympic and Paralympic Museum, Ed Robson Arena, William J Hybl Sports Medicine and Performance Center, and Air Force Academy Visitor Center. Weidner Field was designed to energize the downtown area, spur adjacent real estate investment, increase tourism, and bring a sprawling community together. Plans for the new stadium were officially unveiled in July 2018. Design details were revealed in July 2019, and the ceremonial groundbreaking took place that December.Naming rights are held by Weidner Apartment Homes, an owner in the Club and sponsored the naming rights for the former stadium. The "Weidner Field" name was officially transferred from the old stadium to the new venue on October 15, 2020.

Alamo Square Park, located at 215 South Tejon Street, is the site of the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, which has fine art and historical exhibits and a museum store. A fountain, sculptures and gazebo are located in the park.It was previously the El Paso County Courthouse from 1903 to 1973. The square was previously known as South Park.
