Weidner Field is a soccer-specific stadium located in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Having opened on April 24, 2021, it is home to the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC who compete in the second level of U.S. men's professional soccer, the USL Championship (USLC). While designed for soccer with a seating capacity of 8,000, the stadium is capable of hosting other types of events reaching a capacity as high as 15,000. Sitting at an altitude of roughly 6,035 feet (1,839 m) above sea level, the facility has the highest elevation of any stadium used by a professional team in the American soccer pyramid. It replaces the former Weidner Field, now known as Martin 'Ed' Ragain Field, a smaller venue in the east of the city. The stadium was part of a collection of projects led by the City of Colorado Springs known as City for Champions including the US Olympic and Paralympic Museum, Ed Robson Arena, William J Hybl Sports Medicine and Performance Center, and Air Force Academy Visitor Center. Weidner Field was designed to energize the downtown area, spur adjacent real estate investment, increase tourism, and bring a sprawling community together. Plans for the new stadium were officially unveiled in July 2018. Design details were revealed in July 2019, and the ceremonial groundbreaking took place that December.Naming rights are held by Weidner Apartment Homes, an owner in the Club and sponsored the naming rights for the former stadium. The "Weidner Field" name was officially transferred from the old stadium to the new venue on October 15, 2020.

The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum is located at 215 S. Tejon Street in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The granite building with a domed clock tower was the El Paso County Courthouse building from 1903 to 1973. The museum, which moved to this location in 1979, has fine arts, artifacts and archival collections that document the Pikes Peak region. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places, and was the 2nd property to be listed in El Paso County, after Pikes Peak.Located within Alamo Square Park the museum is also home to the Starsmore Center for Local History, a manuscript collection and research facility.

Alamo Square Park, located at 215 South Tejon Street, is the site of the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, which has fine art and historical exhibits and a museum store. A fountain, sculptures and gazebo are located in the park.It was previously the El Paso County Courthouse from 1903 to 1973. The square was previously known as South Park.

The United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum (USOPM) is a historical and cultural sports museum located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States, first opened on July 30, 2020. The museum is part of the City for Champions development project in Colorado Springs, though it licenses the Olympic name and operates separately from the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC). The museum recognizes Olympic and Paralympic athletes who have represented Team USA.

The Chadbourn Spanish Gospel Mission is a Mission Revival building in the Conejos District of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places.Beginning in 1928 the mission church provided religious, educational, sports, and mission services to the residents of the Conejos District. It was supported by the Colorado Springs Ministerial Association, which formed an advisory board which helped solicit and provide funding and teachers for the church. It was founded by Ruth Chadbourn, a Presbyterian nurse who had moved to Colorado Springs for her health after having served as a missionary in Costa Rica.

Cheyenne Creek is a stream in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado at 5,920 feet (1,800 m) in elevation. The stream is fed by the North Cheyenne Creek and South Cheyenne Creek and flows into Fountain Creek near Nevada Avenue, between Interstate 25 and the Pikes Peak Greenway trail. North Cheyenne Creek and South Cheyenne Creek flow through Teller and El Paso Counties. The source of South Cheyenne Creek is Mount Big Chief, near St. Peter's Dome, and it flows to Seven Falls.

The United States Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame is an honor roll of the top American Olympic and Paralympic athletes headquartered at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum, opened in April 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.The Hall of Fame was established by the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee in 1979; the first members were inducted in 1983. Between 1992 and 2003, the Hall of Fame went dormant, with no induction of new members. In 2004, the honor was revived, and continued in 2005 when the Class of 2006 was selected. The current process for selecting inductees is two-staged. Fifteen finalists are selected by a nominating committee consisting of athletes, members of the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame, historians and USOC representatives. The inductees were then selected based on online voting at www.usolympicteam.com, with a requirement to select five individual athletes, one team, one Paralympian and one coach. When the inductees are announced, a veteran and a "special contributor" are also included. As of 2022, total membership has been brought to 119 Olympians and Paralympians, 11 teams, five coaches, 10 veterans, 19 contributors and two Olive Branch award inductees.

Wells Fargo Tower, part of the Palmer Center complex, is the tallest building in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Its construction was completed in 1990 and is located at 90 South Cascade Avenue. Before June 2000, the building was known as the Norwest Bank Tower.

The Antlers is a Wyndham Hotel located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It opened in 1967 and is the third hotel of that name on the same site. The first Antlers Hotel was built in 1883 and burned down in 1898. The second Antlers Hotel, completed in 1901, was torn down in 1964 to make way for the current Antlers.

Monument Creek is an El Paso County, Colorado, stream on the Arkansas River water basin. It flows south from Mount Deception through Pikeview and Monument, and into Colorado Springs, where it meets up with Fountain Creek. It is 27.2 miles (43.8 km) from its northernmost boundary with National Forest Lands to its confluence with Fountain Creek near the intersection of Interstate 25 and U.S. Route 24.
