Valley Forge High School is located in Parma Heights, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. It is one of two high schools in the Parma City School District, which is one of the largest school districts in the state of Ohio, serving the cities of Parma, Parma Heights, and Seven Hills. The school's colors are navy blue, white, and red; its sports teams are known as the Patriots. Valley Forge High School athletic teams compete in the Great Lakes Conference.In the 2005 Marching Season, Valley Forge Patriot Marching Band became the first band in the Parma City School District to earn the right to attend and perform at the OMEA Marching Band State Finals in Columbus, Ohio. The band performed as a Class AA band. The band was later presented with a commendation for this achievement by the Board of Education for Parma and Parma Heights. On March 1, 2008, Valley Forge High School was the site of a town hall meeting by former President Barack Obama. He spoke to a crowd of 1,300 in the high school's auditorium on topics including the foreclosure crisis and health care.

Holy Name High School (HNHS) is a private, Catholic, co-educational high school in Parma Heights, Ohio, US. It is a part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. Holy Name is a member of the Great Lakes Conference with Fairview, Buckeye, Parma Senior, Normandy, Valley Forge, Elyria Catholic, Bay Village, and Rocky River High Schools.

The Shoppes at Parma, formerly known as Parmatown Mall, is a shopping plaza located in Parma, Ohio, approximately 10 miles (16 km) south of Cleveland. It is located at the southwest corner of State Route 3 and Ridgewood Drive in southern Cuyahoga County. It is anchored by Walmart, Burlington, Marc's and Dick's Sporting Goods. The plaza opened as a shopping plaza in 1956 and was enclosed in the mid-1960s and has become an outdoor plaza once again. Its original anchors were Higbee's (1967) and May Company (1960). Higbee's became Dillard's in 1992, and closed in 2000. The old Higbee's structure was demolished and replaced with a new Walmart in 2004. May Company became Kaufmann's in 1993 and Kaufmann's became Macy's in 2006. A Kresge also served as a fourth anchor store until it was closed in the early 1980s to make way for an expansion. Parts of the original plaza remain open-air, with Chuck E. Cheese's and Marc's as major tenants. The mall was renovated in the early 2000s and was renovated to be an outdoor shopping center in 2017, with the interior demolished.

Byers Field is a 12,750-capacity multi-purpose stadium in Parma, Ohio, located on Day Drive next to The Shoppes at Parma. The stadium can host football, track and field, and soccer events. The three high schools and three middle schools of the Parma City School District share this venue with Saint Ignatius High School.

The Parma MFD (Metal Fabricating Division) is a General Motors stamping and metal assembly plant located on the south side of Cleveland, Ohio in the suburb of Parma and a key part of the town's economic vibrancy. The plant supplies stamped metal parts and metal assemblies to numerous GM assembly plants located across North America, including specialized parts which have allowed it to continue to exist despite the downsizing of other auto industry plants.

The district had been created after the elimination of Ohio's at-large congressional district after the 1950 election. The Shiva Vishnu Hindu Temple of Greater Cleveland is a Hindu Temple in Parma, Ohio and serves the Hindu population of the Greater Cleveland Area. The central deities at the temple are Shiva and Vishnu. The temple serves 12,000 Hindus and hosts up to 30,000 visitors a year.

Midpark High School was a public high school located in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, southwest of Cleveland. It was one of two high schools in the Berea City School District, along with Berea High School. Founded in 1962, it primarily served Middleburg Heights and Brook Park, as well as a portion of Berea. MHS athletic teams were known as the Meteors with school colors of orange and brown and competed in the Southwestern Conference. At the conclusion of the 2012–13 school year, the school was closed and merged with rival Berea High School to create Berea–Midpark High School, which is located in the building that previously housed Berea High School. Beginning with the 2013–14 school year, the Midpark building became Middleburg Heights Junior High School for the district's 7th–9th grade students. In August 2018, the building was renamed Berea–Midpark Middle School for grades five through eight, while ninth graders were moved to Berea–Midpark High School.

Parma Senior High School (alternatively known as PSH or Parma High School), is one of three public high schools in the Parma City School District in Parma, Ohio. The school is a member of the Northeast Ohio Conference. The Parma Board of Education was moved into the high school in Fall 2006. Parma Senior High School athletic teams are known as the Redmen and compete in the Great Lakes Conference.

Brooklyn High School is a public high school located in Brooklyn, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Brooklyn City School District.The school colors are royal blue and gold. The sports teams are named the Hurricanes or the 'Canes (Hurcs was also used as a nickname in the past). Athletically, the school is a member of the Chagrin Valley Conference (CVC), and a member of the Greater Cleveland High School Hockey League (GCHSHL) for Hockey. The school was designated a Historic Rock and Roll Landmark in 1998 by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.

WEWS-TV (channel 5) is a television station in Cleveland, Ohio, United States, affiliated with ABC. It has been owned by the E. W. Scripps Company since its inception in 1946, making it one of three stations that have been built and signed on by Scripps (alongside company flagship WCPO-TV in Cincinnati and WMC-TV in Memphis, the latter of which was sold in 1993). WEWS-TV's studios are located on Euclid Avenue (near I-90) in Downtown Cleveland, and its transmitter is located in suburban Parma.
