Parma Senior High School

Parma is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States, located on the southern edge of Cleveland. As of the 2020 census, its population was 81,146. Parma is the seventh largest city in the state of Ohio, the largest suburb in the state, and the second largest city in Cuyahoga County after Cleveland.

Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saint Josaphat in Parma is a Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church ecclesiastical jurisdiction or eparchy of the Catholic Church in the United States. Its episcopal see is Parma, Ohio. It was established in 1983 by Pope John Paul II. The eparchy encompasses parishes in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, western Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and West Virginia. The Eparchy of Saint Josaphat in Parma is a suffragan eparchy in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archeparchy of Philadelphia. The eparchy is named for St. Josaphat Kuntsevych, O.S.B.M., who was Eastern Catholic martyred in anti-Catholic violence by Eastern Orthodox following the Union of Brest.

St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral is a Ukrainian Catholic cathedral located in Parma, Ohio, in the United States. The cathedral grew out of a parochial school which opened in 1951 and a parish erected in 1959. Construction on the cathedral began in 1982, and was completed in 1985. It was dedicated in 1988, the thousand-year anniversary of the arrival of Christianity in Ukraine. The cathedral is the seat for the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saint Josaphat in Parma, which was erected in 1983 during construction of the building.

Byers Field is a 12,750-capacity multi-purpose stadium in Parma, Ohio, located on Day Drive next to The Shoppes at Parma. The stadium can host football, track and field, and soccer events. The three high schools and three middle schools of the Parma City School District share this venue with Saint Ignatius High School.

WEWS-TV (channel 5) is a television station in Cleveland, Ohio, United States, affiliated with ABC. It has been owned by the E. W. Scripps Company since its inception in 1946, making it one of three stations that have been built and signed on by Scripps (alongside company flagship WCPO-TV in Cincinnati and WMC-TV in Memphis, the latter of which was sold in 1993). WEWS-TV's studios are located on Euclid Avenue (near I-90) in Downtown Cleveland, and its transmitter is located in suburban Parma.

The Shoppes at Parma, formerly known as Parmatown Mall, is a shopping plaza located in Parma, Ohio, approximately 10 miles (16 km) south of Cleveland. It is located at the southwest corner of State Route 3 and Ridgewood Drive in southern Cuyahoga County. It is anchored by Walmart, Burlington, Marc's and Dick's Sporting Goods. The plaza opened as a shopping plaza in 1956 and was enclosed in the mid-1960s and has become an outdoor plaza once again. Its original anchors were Higbee's (1967) and May Company (1960). Higbee's became Dillard's in 1992, and closed in 2000. The old Higbee's structure was demolished and replaced with a new Walmart in 2004. May Company became Kaufmann's in 1993 and Kaufmann's became Macy's in 2006. A Kresge also served as a fourth anchor store until it was closed in the early 1980s to make way for an expansion. Parts of the original plaza remain open-air, with Chuck E. Cheese's and Marc's as major tenants. The mall was renovated in the early 2000s and was renovated to be an outdoor shopping center in 2017, with the interior demolished.

St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church Oregon (Toledo), Ohio St. Michael parish is a Ruthenian Greek Catholic Church, which uses the Divine Liturgy of the Byzantine Rite. Accordingly, St. Michael is in full communion with the Bishop of Rome (more commonly referred to as the Pope of Rome) and is a parish within the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Parma.

WKYC (channel 3) is a television station in Cleveland, Ohio, United States, affiliated with NBC and owned by Tegna Inc. Its studios are located on Tom Beres Way (a section of Lakeside Avenue in Downtown Cleveland named after the station's longtime political reporter who retired in 2016), and its transmitter is located in suburban Parma, Ohio.

The 23rd congressional district of Ohio was eliminated in the redistricting following the 1980 census. The district had been created after the elimination of Ohio's at-large congressional district after the 1950 election. In its last decade, the district consisted of western and southern Cuyahoga county.

James Ford Rhodes High School is located in Cleveland, Ohio, United States, in the west-side neighborhood known as Old Brooklyn. It is part of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and is commonly referred to as "Rhodes High School." The school was named for the American industrialist and historian James Ford Rhodes. Drew Carey, actor and current host of The Price Is Right; Les Horvath, 1944 Heisman Trophy winner; and poet d.a. levy are alumni of Rhodes.
