Walworth is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in the Town of Walworth, Wayne County, New York, United States. It is located in the southeastern corner of the town, six miles (10 km) north-northeast of the hamlet of Macedon, at an elevation of 541 feet (165 m). The primary cross roads where the hamlet is located are Penfield-Walworth Road (CR 205), Walworth-Marion Road (CR 207), Walworth-Ontario Road and Walworth Road (CR 208). N.Y. Route 350 passes just west of Walworth. Government offices for the Town of Walworth are located in the hamlet. A United States Post Office is located in Walworth with a ZIP Code of 14568.

While originally designed to be a city with upwards of 90,000 residents, the removal of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding brought about its current design with fewer than 6,500 residents.

Ambrose S. Lapham House is a historic home located at Palmyra, Wayne County, New York. It was built about 1869, and is a large 2+1⁄2-story, Italianate style brick dwelling. It has a low hipped roof with overhanging eaves and decorative brackets topped by a cupola. Also on the property are the contributing late-19th century wood-framed barn with its historic cupola, doors and horse stalls; a rustic late-19th century gazebo; and four extant historic brick piers along the property line.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

The primary cross roads where the hamlet is located are Plank Road (CR 201), North Lincoln Road (CR 200) and South Lincoln Road (CR 202). The area is primarily agricultural, but becoming more residential. The Lincoln Baptist Church is located in the hamlet. Lincoln Volunteer Fire Department, formed in 1947, serves the hamlet and surrounding area.In the fall of 2010, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz of The History Channel's American Pickers picked through the old cheese factory (built c. 1867) on Plank Road in Lincoln. Lincoln Volunteer Fire Department members provided equipment to assist them in gaining access to some sections of the building. Footage was first aired during an episode on January 17, 2011.

Notable buildings include the Village Hall (1866-1868), Griffith Block (c. 1893), First National Bank (1925), bandstand on the village green (c. 1906), First Methodist Church (1866-1867), Western Presbyterian Church (c. 1832), First Baptist Church (1871), St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church (1859-1870s), Alexander McKachnie House (c. 1830), Garlock Office Building, Sherburne Ford building (c. 1910), Palmyra Elementary School (1924), the Carlton Rogers House (1850s), and the Floral Hall (1856).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.
