Maverick Concert Hall was built in 1916 and was part of the Maverick Artist Colony in Hurley, New York. The concert hall hosts the Maverick Concerts, a summer chamber music festival. Alexander Platt is the current music director. The mainstay of the series, which runs from the end of June through early September, is to be found in the chamber music concerts performed by distinguished soloists and ensembles on Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons. The Maverick Festival, a precursor to the Maverick Concerts, was founded in 1915 by Hervey White, and by 1931 the festival suspended.

The Beaver Kill, sometimes written as the Beaverkill or Beaverkill River, is a tributary of the East Branch Delaware River, a main tributary of the Delaware River, approximately 44 miles (71 km) long, in the U.S. state of New York. The kill drains a 300-square-mile (780 km2) area of the Catskill Mountains and has long been celebrated as one of the most famous trout streams in the United States. Its preservation helped establish many of the basic conservation principles of rivers in the United States. The river has been popular as a trout stream since the early 19th century, when it became one of the first resort destinations in the United States. The subsequent depletion of the brook trout population by the 1850s led to an early conservation movement to preserve the river, including the introduction of hatcheries for brown trout. Its popularity as a trout stream arises in part from the many cold springs and deep pools in the upper river that keep the water at an even cold temperature. The fly fishing industry is centered on Roscoe, home to several fly-shops and bed and breakfasts catering to fishermen from around the world. The community is northwest of Kingston. Zena is one of the more wealthy areas of this region, with the average home value above $300,000.

The Woodstock Playhouse is an American summer stock theater located at 103 Mill Hill Road in Woodstock, New York. Founded in 1938, the not-for profit theater, which is owned by the Pan American Dance Foundation, hosts theatre, music and other presentations throughout the year. The original building burned in 1988, with the current building having opened in June 2011.

Dreamland Recording Studios is a residential recording studio located in the town of Hurley, New York. Opened in 1986 as a recording facility, the studio is housed in what was once St. John's Church built in 1896.Some of the artists that recorded and produced at Dreamland include The B-52's, Joan Jett, Ace Frehley, Misfits, Bad Brains, The Breeders, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Fleet Foxes, Yo-Yo Ma and Bobby McFerrin, Suzanne Vega, Dinosaur Jr., Buffalo Tom, 10,000 Maniacs, Jack DeJohnette, Joe Jackson, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Sunny Day Real Estate, The Connells among many others, and more recently The National, Parquet Courts, Jack and Amanda Palmer, Beach House, Kurt Vile and many more.All of the vintage recording gear and instruments that were used from the time of the studio foundation are still in use today. The centerpiece of the control room is a custom built 48 channel in-line API Legacy fit with Neve Flying Faders II. Dreamland still includes its full accommodation facilities for large groups, which enabled many artists to hold residency sessions at the studio. Today, the studio is managed by renowned drummer and composer Jerry Marotta.

Woodstock is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in Ulster County, New York, United States. The population was 2,521 according to the 2020 census. The community of Woodstock is in the eastern part of the Town of Woodstock and is northwest of Kingston. It is located along NY 212 near its junction with NY 375. Although the name of the community and the town lent its name to the Woodstock Festival, that event did not take place in Woodstock.

The Judge Jonathan Hasbrouck House, also known as the Sherman-Elwyn-Jonathan Hasbrouck House, is a historic home located at Woodstock, Ulster County, New York. It was built circa 1800, and is a two-story, three bay by four bay, Federal style, bluestone dwelling constructed with load-bearing walls upon a raised basement. It has a gable roof and front porch that was added around 1900. Adjoining the eastern elevation of the house is a wooden frame addition also on a bluestone foundation that was built about 1875. The addition exhibits modern construction techniques since its renovation after a fire that had damaged both sections of the house. The original roof pitch of the addition has since been reconfigured.The main house was built on a 500-acre parcel for Jonathan Hasbrouck (1763-1846), a large landowner and Ulster County judge.The house currently stands on an approximate one-acre parcel with a contributing timber-frame shed on the west side. Included within the NRHP nomination boundary of the site is a historically relevant barn complex (built circa 1875) that is located on the abutting property to the east, along with a non-contributing small-frame dwelling.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

National Youth Administration Woodstock Resident Work Center is a national historic district located at Woodstock in Ulster County, New York. The district includes seven contributing buildings and three contributing structures. It includes three shop buildings, four shed buildings, a ca. 1900 barn, and a decorative flagpole base. It was built in 1939 by the National Youth Administration and operated until 1942 as a facility devoted to training youths in the industrial arts. The camp is currently used by the Woodstock School of Art.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Woodstock is a town in Ulster County, New York, United States, in the northern part of the county, northwest of Kingston. It lies within the borders of the Catskill Park. The population was 6,287 at the 2020 census, up from 5,884 in 2010.

Ohayo Mountain is a mountain located in the Catskill Mountains of New York southeast of Wittenberg. Acorn Hill is located northwest, Ashokan Ridge is located south, and Mount Guardian is located north of Ohayo Mountain.

Stony Hollow, MP 8.3 on the Ulster and Delaware Railroad, was a small, station-agent-lacking flagstop/shelter that served the small town of Stony Hollow, between West Hurley and Kingston, New York, and had very little business. It was located halfway up the Hurley Mountain Grade, and was next to the Route 28A bridge crossing. Because of low traffic at this station, it was eventually closed and torn down.
