Beit Harambam Congregation (Hebrew: בית הרמב"ם, lit. "House of the Rambam") is a Sephardi Orthodox synagogue in Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1978, its membership is largely composed of Hebrew-speaking Israeli expatriates. Started as a basement minyan, the congregation purchased a small home in the 1980s, which was subsequently destroyed by arson in 2000. With significant funding from the Philadelphia Jewish community, the building was restored. The synagogue was further expanded with a larger sanctuary and a social hall, completed in 2011.

Its burial ground contains the remains of many notable Americans and Revolutionary War Soldiers. Another church is the Protestant Episcopal Church of Saint Luke The Beloved Physician. It is the only church in Philadelphia that was designed by the architect Richard Upjohn of New York. It is located on Welsh Road and has a burial ground, now home to the veterans from the Civil War to present. It was consecrated on the 30th August 1861.The 1870 Roman Catholic Church of Maternity, Blessed Virgin Mary on Old Bustleton Ave in Pennypack Park is the large Roman Catholic parish that served as a mother church for most of the parishes in the Northeast section of Philadelphia. Saint Katherine Drexel attended Mass in the Old BVM Church.One of the early schools went by the name: Bustleton Academy, also known as The Academy at Bustelton, not to be confused with Lower Dublin Academy which is an older school, located in the Holmesburg section of Lower Dublin.

Swenson Arts and Technology High School (Swenson High School), formally known as "Swenson Skills Center", is a full-time Technical/Vocational high school located in the greater Northeast of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The school is located at 2750 Red Lion Road, just north of the Northeast Philadelphia Airport. The school is one of the few special admission high schools in the School District of Philadelphia. The school serves students from ninth through twelve grade from all over the city, and has an approximate enrollment of about 800 students.

Math, Science, and Technology (MaST) Community Charter School was founded by Karen DelGuercio in 1999. The school was established in Northeast Philadelphia in what was once an old steel factory. The school building was remodeled at the end of the 2004 school year, and two years later expansion led to the construction of a new school building. In the last five years a library and media center, a fitness center, and a maker studio have been added. Philmont station was built in 1913 by the Reading Railroad after the previous depot caught fire on March 17 of that year.

Watson Comly School, also known as Somerton Masonic Hall, is a historic school building located in the Somerton neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Built in 1892–1893, it is a two-story, four-bay, brownstone building in the Colonial Revival style. It features a one-story stone entrance pavilion and large hipped roof with stone chimney. The school was named for Watson Comly, a local resident who held many public offices, including serving several terms as a representative in the state legislature. The building served as a school from its completion until 1928, when it was replaced by a larger building on Byberry Road. The same year, the site was acquired by the Masons, in exchange for the land on which the new school was built. The Masons used it for many years from 1930 as a lodge hall. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Politz Hebrew Academy, formerly known as William C. Jacobs School and Fayette School, is a historic school located in the Bustleton neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The building consists of an original section designed by Samuel Sloan in 1855, and the main building built in 1915. The original building is a two-story, stone building sheathed in stucco. The 1915 building is a 2+1⁄2-story, three-bay, rectangular brick building in the Colonial Revival style. It features a hipped roof and gable dormers.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
