Watson Comly School, also known as Somerton Masonic Hall, is a historic school building located in the Somerton neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Built in 1892–1893, it is a two-story, four-bay, brownstone building in the Colonial Revival style. It features a one-story stone entrance pavilion and large hipped roof with stone chimney. The school was named for Watson Comly, a local resident who held many public offices, including serving several terms as a representative in the state legislature. The building served as a school from its completion until 1928, when it was replaced by a larger building on Byberry Road. The same year, the site was acquired by the Masons, in exchange for the land on which the new school was built. The Masons used it for many years from 1930 as a lodge hall. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Math, Science, and Technology (MaST) Community Charter School was founded by Karen DelGuercio in 1999. The school was established in Northeast Philadelphia in what was once an old steel factory. The school building was remodeled at the end of the 2004 school year, and two years later expansion led to the construction of a new school building. In the last five years a library and media center, a fitness center, and a maker studio have been added. In 2014, MaST was one of four Philadelphia public schools to exceed the national average SAT score.

Forest Hills station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Located on Byberry Road near Philmont Avenue, it serves the West Trenton Line to Ewing, New Jersey. The station has off-street parking and a handicapped-accessible platform. In FY 2013, Forest Hills station had a weekday average of 434 boardings and 326 alightings.

Feasterville is a census-designated place located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The community was part of Feasterville-Trevose, which was split into two separate CDPs, the other being Trevose. As of the 2010 census, the population was 3,074. Feasterville has grown by 2.02% since 2006.

The Philadelphia State Hospital at Byberry was a psychiatric hospital located on either side of Roosevelt Boulevard (US Route 1) in Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was specifically located in the Somerton section of the city on the border with Bucks County. The name of the institution was changed several times during its history being variously named Philadelphia State Hospital, Byberry State Hospital, Byberry City Farms, and the Philadelphia Hospital for Mental Diseases. It was home to people ranging from the mentally challenged to the criminally insane. The primary buildings were constructed between 1907 and the mid-1920s, and the newer buildings were constructed between 1940 and 1953. The facility included over fifty buildings such as male and female dormitories, an infirmary, kitchens, laundry, administration, a chapel, and a morgue. The hospital's population grew rapidly, quickly exceeding its capacity; the peak patient population was over 7,000 in 1960. Several investigations into the conditions at the hospital at various points revealed that raw sewage lined the hallways, patients slept in the halls, and the staff mistreated and exploited patients. The hospital has been featured in the paranormal television series Scared!.

George Washington High School is a public high school in Somerton, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, near Bustleton. The school serves Northeast Philadelphia, including Somerton, Bustleton, and Fox Chase. Named after the first president of the United States, George Washington, it is located on Bustleton Ave. Washington had an enrollment of 1,875 in 2012. The school currently has four programs: Business and Finance: 5  Culinary arts (including baking, hospitality administration and management, and travel and tourism): 6  International Baccalaureate Program: 4  Creative and Performing Arts: 7 The school also maintains three career and technology education (CTE) programs:: 43  Business Technology Culinary Arts Sports Marketing and Management

Trevose station is a station along the SEPTA West Trenton Line to Ewing, New Jersey. It is located at Ridge and Boundbrook Avenues in Bensalem Township, Pennsylvania. The station has off-street parking and a handicapped-accessible platform, however SEPTA has recently announced that they've expanded the number of parking spaces to 219. In FY 2013, Trevose station had a weekday average of 283 boardings and 275 alightings.The previous station depot at Trevose was built in 1888 by the Philadelphia & Reading Railroad. The former station house was torn down in March 1970 and replaced with a small shelter to protect commuters from the elements.

Trevose, also known as the TVO(tee,vee,oh), is a census-designated place within Lower Southampton Township, while the entire community of Trevose within and beyond the CDP is in both Bensalem and Lower Southampton Townships in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States, which is north of and borders northeastern Philadelphia. Trevose was formerly part of Feasterville-Trevose, but was split into two separate CDPs for the 2010 census. U.S. 1 runs through the town as well as the Pennsylvania Turnpike, but Trevose's main road is Brownsville Road, which is the dividing line between the two townships. As of the 2010 census, Trevose had a population of 3,550.The community is named after the home of settler Joseph Growden and itself after Growden's homestead in England (Growden was Cornish; Trevose is from the Cornish word Trenfos for farm.).

Benjamin Rush State Park is a 275-acre (111 ha) Pennsylvania state park in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. The park is undeveloped and is the site of community gardens, believed to be one of the largest in the world. The park is home to the Northeast Radio Controlled Airplane Club. Benjamin Rush State Park is in Northeast Philadelphia at the intersection of Southampton Road and Roosevelt Boulevard (U.S. Route 1). The northern boundary of the park is formed by Poquessing Creek. There are several acres of woodlands along the creek bank. A proposal map show plans to connect the park with Fairmount Park. Other proposed improvements included hiking trails, parking facilities, and a reforestation project. The community gardens and airfield for the radio-controlled aircraft would remain.

Swenson Arts and Technology High School (Swenson High School), formally known as "Swenson Skills Center", is a full-time Technical/Vocational high school located in the greater Northeast of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The school is located at 2750 Red Lion Road, just north of the Northeast Philadelphia Airport. The school is one of the few special admission high schools in the School District of Philadelphia. The school serves students from ninth through twelve grade from all over the city, and has an approximate enrollment of about 800 students.

[[ ]] Concord Park is a residential neighborhood in the Trevose section of Bensalem Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, originally established as an intentional racially integrated community in 1954 by Morris Milgram, a pioneering social activist and civil rights trailblazer who believed Black people should have the same access to housing as whites.Concord Park Homes were "the first planned open occupancy homes for sale by a builder determined to build only integrated housing; 139 three and four-bedroom homes were sold and occupied by 55 percent white families and 45 percent Negro families." Some of the early homeowners included interracial couples, communists, and other nonconformists.The community's origin and history were featured at Bensalem Township's 325th anniversary in 2017 at Growden Mansion and on the Mayor's Show.
