Wallington Jr./Sr. High School is a six-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in seventh through twelfth grades from Wallington, in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States, operating as the lone secondary school of the Wallington Public Schools. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 590 students and 42.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.0:1. There were 116 students (19.7% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 31 (5.3% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Wesmont is a commuter rail station on the New Jersey Transit (NJT) Bergen County Line, located in Wood-Ridge, New Jersey, positioned between Garfield and Rutherford stations and two stops away from Secaucus Junction. Wesmont opened on May 15, 2016, as part of the $400 million Wesmont Station development project, surrounding a former Curtiss-Wright aircraft engine factory. The station is the newest in the NJ Transit Rail Operations network. The station and tracks are located along Wood-Ridge's boundary with neighboring Wallington, although the platform can only be reached from the Wood-Ridge side. Wesmont is one of two rail stations in Wood-Ridge; the Pascack Valley Line serves the older Wood-Ridge station.

Market Street Bridge, also known as the Second Street Bridge, is a vehicular bridge over the Passaic River crossing the Passaic-Bergen county line in Passaic and Wallington in northeastern New Jersey. The double-leaf bascule bridge was built in 1930 and fixed in the closed position in 1977. It was reconstructed in 2002. It carries a two-lane street and sidewalks in a late-19th and early-20th century industrial area along the river. An earlier structure built at the crossing in 1894 was damaged during the Passaic floods of 1902 and 1903 but survived.It is one of three bridges crossing the river between the two municipalities, the others being the Gregory Avenue Bridge and the Eighth Street Bridge. Two other crossings of the Passaic have been known as Market Street Bridge, the since-removed Pennsylvania Railroad bridge at Newark Penn Station and the extant vehicular bridge at Paterson.

The Passaic Street Bridge is a vehicular bridge crossing the Passaic River in Passaic and Garfield, New Jersey. The girder bridge was built in 1898 and is the third to span the river at that point. It is considered eligible for listing on the New Jersey Register of Historic Places and National Register of Historic Places.

Gregory Avenue Bridge, earlier known as the Main Avenue Bridge, is road bridge over the Passaic River in northeastern New Jersey, United States. It is the 7th bridge to be built at the river crossing. Originally built in 1905 as a moveable bridge, it has been in a fixed closed position since 1985. A four lane road carries traffic between Passaic & Wallington at the Passaic and Bergen county line.

Carlton Hill station was a railroad station for the Erie Railroad in East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States. Carlton Hill station was the second station along the Erie's main line and the first station after Rutherford Junction, where the Erie's main line forked from the Bergen County Railroad. The station provided service for passengers in Rutherford and East Rutherford's Carlton Hill district and freight billing for the Royce Chemical Company, producer of Royox household cleaner, epoxies and dyes. After Carlton Hill, the main line continued westward to Passaic Park and eastward to Rutherford–East Rutherford and Pavonia Terminal. Carlton Hill Station opened in 1888 on Jackson Avenue and namesake Erie Avenue in Rutherford. The station was served by the main line until 1963, when the Passaic Plan was undertaken, removing tracks at Passaic Park, Passaic, Clifton, and Lake View stations. At that point, the nearby drawbridge was permanently swung open and later removed, leaving a branch to Carlton Hill. For the next few years, Carlton Hill received deadhead trains and a rare Carlton Hill – Rutherford – Hoboken Terminal train schedule. In 1966, when several underused branches, including the Carlton Hill, lost service, the old main line alignment to Carlton Hill was abandoned. The tracks remain, though the building is gone, having been demolished in October 1967.

Garfield is a New Jersey Transit train station served by the Bergen County Line in the city of Garfield. Located north of a trestle over Midland Avenue (County Route 67), the station consists of two low-level platforms with a shelter and a pair of ticket vending machines. Garfield station has hourly weekday inbound service to Hoboken Terminal/Secaucus Junction until the afternoon, with the last train leaving Garfield before 4:00 pm. Return service continues all day, with the last train stopping at approximately 1:00 am. Weekend service operates on a more frequent basis inbound.

The Carlstadt Public Schools is a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from the Borough of Carlstadt in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprised of one school, had an enrollment of 562 students and 45.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.5:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "DE", the fifth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.A groundbreaking ceremony for a new elementary / middle school was held on June 4, 2005, at the site of the new school, adjacent to the Lindbergh School. With the opening of the new Carlstadt Public School, which now serves all of Carlstadt's K-8 students, the Lincoln and Washington school sites have been turned over to the borough and plans have been developed to convert the sites for senior housing.For ninth through twelfth grades, public school students attend the Henry P. Becton Regional High School in East Rutherford, which serves high school students from both Carlstadt and East Rutherford as part of the Carlstadt-East Rutherford Regional School District. As of the 2018–19 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 491 students and 37.2 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.2:1.

The Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel is a Byzantine Catholic (Ruthenian) cathedral located in Passaic, New Jersey, United States. It is the cathedral for the Eparchy of Passaic.

Monroe Street Bridge is bridge over the Passaic River in Passaic and Garfield, New Jersey. The 3-span reinforced concrete elliptical deck arch bridge was built in 1908. It was designed by Colin Wise and built by C.W. Dean and Company. It is 306 feet long and 30.2 feet wide.

Passaic Park station (formerly known as Passaic Bridge) was a former railroad station for the Erie Railroad's main line in Passaic, New Jersey in the epomonyous section of the city. The station was located between the Carlton Hill station and the Prospect Street station. The station was the easternmost of four Erie stations that served the city of Passaic, being demolished in 1963 as part of the abandonment of the railroad line through Passaic and Clifton. Passaic Park station, originally opened as part of the Paterson and Ramapo Railroad, was reconstructed in 1888 as a 57-by-16-foot (17.4 m × 4.9 m) wooden structure. The wooden station was the common design for station depots used by the Erie Railroad, designated Type IV. The station was replaced in 1923 with a Spanish tile roof station made of concrete and stone, after six years of litigation between the railroad and the city of Passaic.

Immaculate Conception High School (ICHS) is an American private, Roman Catholic, all-girls college-preparatory high school located in Lodi, in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The school operates under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark. The school was founded in 1915 by the Felician Sisters. ICHS has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1961.As of the 2019–20 school year, the school had an enrollment of 145 students and 17.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 8.1:1. The school's student body was 62.1% (90) White, 26.2% (38) Hispanic, 10.3% (15) Black and 1.4% (2) Asian. Average class size is 15 students. The administration, faculty and staff consist of three Felician Sisters, 19 women, and 8 men. About 98% of seniors pursue higher education.
