Ludshott Common and Waggoners Wells

Bramshott Common is part of a large expanse of heathland, including Ludshott Common, near Bramshott, Hampshire, England.It was the site of Bramshott Camps, set up to accommodate Canadian troops during the two world wars. It is bisected by the A3 trunk road.

Bramshott Military Camp, often simplified to Camp Bramshott, was a temporary army camp set up on Bramshott Common, Hampshire, England during both the First and Second World Wars. Camp Bramshott was one of three facilities in the Aldershot Command area established by the Canadian Army. The permanent facility on both occasions was at the British Army's Bordon Military Camp. Bramshott was one of two temporary camps set-up for additional accommodation in the lead-up to D-Day, along with Witley Camp. There were five Canadian camps in the immediate vicinity of Camp Bramshott, each one given the name of one of the Great Lakes: Huron and Ontario Camps were located on Bramshott Common near the Portsmouth Road Superior Camp was located at the Grayshott end of Ludshott Common Erie Camp was located at Headley Down, in the area now occupied by Heatherlands estate. Connaught Military Hospital was located on Bramshott Common, adjacent to the A3 Trunk road There is a memorial to the Canadian troops which comprises, according to the Imperial War Museum's dedication page: Avenue of c. 400 trees, one for each Canadian serviceman who died in WW1 and WW2. These trees are each side of the A3 and there is an underpass to cross the road safely. Each tree is twinned with a grave in Bramshott Churchyard and St Joseph's Catholic Church, Grayshott. Bramshott and Ludshott Commons is a 374.4-hectare (925-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest near Grayshott in Hampshire. It is part of Wealden Heaths Phase II Special Protection Area.The site has large areas of heath which are dominated by heather, bell heather, common gorse and dwarf gorse. There are also woodland areas with ancient trees, with at least 87 taxa of epiphytic lichens, most of which are associated with ancient woods and several of which are rare.

Grayshott is a village and civil parish in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. It is on the Hampshire / Surrey border 4 miles (6.4 km) northwest of Haslemere by road, and 46 miles (74 km) southwest of central London. The nearest rail link is Haslemere railway station. The present village consists of houses and shops on either side of the B3002 Headley Road, which leads from the A333 at Hindhead to Headley Down, Headley and Bordon, and Crossways Road which runs south east from the centre of the village. East of the village centre, joining these two roads, is Boundary Road, which marks the boundary between Hampshire and Surrey. Originally, the name referred to a hamlet a mile west of the present village. Grayshott was part of Headley parish until 1901 (ecclesiastical parish) and 1902 (civil parish). The present civil parish is part of East Hampshire District.

Hammer Bottom or Hammer Vale is a hamlet in the civil parish of Bramshott and Liphook, in the East Hampshire district in the county of Hampshire, England. Hammer Bottom lies at the meeting point of the counties of Hampshire, West Sussex and Surrey. Nearby settlements include the town of Haslemere, the villages of Liphook, Bramshott, Linchmere (sometimes also spelt Lynchmere), Shottermill, Camelsdale, Critchmere, Hammer and Woolmer Hill. For transport there is the B2131 road which the hamlet is nearly on and the A3 road, the A287 road, the A286 road nearby. The nearest railway station is Haslemere railway station. It once had a beer house called the Sussex Bell. The Prince of Wales pub dates from the 1920s, and was listed in the 50th edition of the Good Beer Guide.

Shottermill & Haslemere Football Club is a football club based in Haslemere, Surrey, England. The club are currently members of the Surrey Intermediate League Premier Division and play at Haslemere Recreational Ground.

Woolmer Hill is an area of high ground in the south-west corner of Surrey, England in the Borough of Waverley abutting Hampshire to the west and West Sussex to the south. It is in the circa 1900-founded parish of Shottermill. In the north it is covered by woodland, and a higher land to the south has its residential neighbourhood on streets Hatchett's Drive and Lower Hanger. The hill reaches 185.5 metres above sea level, its foot being about 60 metres below. The area is bounded to the west by Sandy Lane and to the east by Woolmer Hill Road. To the east is Woolmer Hill School and to its south semi-rural houses and St Mary's Abbey. Most of its buildings are 20th century and the locality or neighbourhood owes this expansion to the enlargement of the A3 trunk road nearby and growth of Haslemere which is a semi-major stop on the Portsmouth Direct Line (railway).

Beacon Hill, while ecumenically and administratively part of Hindhead, Surrey, is a discrete settlement with its own history, amenities and character. It lies in the southwest corner of Surrey on the A287 road between the towns of Haslemere and Farnham. The village began to be developed in the 19th century. There are three churches, a primary school, a shopping area and a range of sporting facilities and activities in Beacon Hill.
